Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven-Chapter 311: Herald Of Blood
At the same time, Ved received a notification informing him the herald of blood has descended.
He closed his eyes and prayed nothing major happens before the two of them healed.

Aira sent a voice transmission to everyone telling them her plan. They all nodded agreeing to buy her time.
She took out four pillars two metres high and thirty centimetres wide. Each was pure gold in colour with countless microscopic arrays drawn on them.
When Cat and the monk saw them their faces turned grim. Her plan was to trap the herald of blood.
However according to her, her formation could only be used by one with divinity meaning at least legendary grade.
However there were only two legendary grade experts here and a mythical grade. While the others were strong they didnβt have divine sparks let alone an ember.
They turned and saw the others facing off against the herald of blood, 31 projection realm experts all with their images projected.
The herald of blood did not even bother moving. His cold eyes glared at them with nothing but disdain.
The arrogance on his face could even be seen by a child. He created a throne of blood and sat down.
Haruko was the first to reach him, " Sword of summer: Blinding light blade." His entire body shone with blinding light like the sun.
His speed increased and he reached the herald in a blink of an eye. His katana split the air as it cut towards the Heraldβs neck.
The herald tilted his head and balanced it on his right fist, he crossed his legs and sat like an anime boss villain.
Then he raised his left arm and grabbed Harukoβs sword with two finger. The sun energy around it disappeared completely.
Haruko opened his eyes wide and tried to retreat but his vessel katana refused to budge.
The katana disappeared as he summoned it to his soul, he retreated but he didnβt get far before the herald pointed his finger at him.
Then he flicked, BOOOOM. A massive shockwave destroyed all that was left of the island.
The only piece of solid rock remaining was the one his throne of blood sat on. When the dust cleared Ndu appeared.
He had used his ability to teleport Infront of Haruko and block the attack. Even so he was pushed hundreds of metres away.
This surprised him since all the herald did was flick a finger yet it felt like he had taken a full out attack from another expert.
" ROAAAAR." One of Siriβs beasts roared and swung it massive paw at him. The earth and the sky shook.
A shockwave hit the herald before the bear paw did but not even a strand of his hair moved.
" Stop." He ordered while looking directly at the bear with his deep red eyes. " Kill yourself."
Something strange happened, the bear stabbed it claws into it own chest and ripped it heart out.
Siri felt the connection break which sent a backlash to her, she coughed up blood and tried to summon back her other beasts but it was too late.
Her wolf ripped off the throat of her bird before proceeding to kill itself. This series of events scared everybody.
However they all believed it was some type of taming ability that wouldnβt work on humans.
Cat suddenly remembered something, Alex used to be a fan of myths and fantasy, spending that much time with him she ended up liking them too.
And this ability resembled the compulsion ability of vampires, the red hair and eyes plus the fangs.
She was certain this was a vampire, she tried to warn them but it was too late. A woman whose vessel was a thin chain stood still Infront of the herald unmoving.
She was one of the people who came with the nun from the church. The nun created chains of light to try and rescue her but it was too late.
The woman turned and looked at them with fear and tears in her eyes. " Please sav.." her sentence was cut off by her cutting off her own head.
Everybody stood still unable to move, when it happened to beasts it was scary but not enough to shake them.
However seeing it happening to one of their own was different. The herald grinned cruelly at them.
For the first time his expression changed, a red glass appeared in his hand, the womanβs blood flew into it.
He took a sip and his face twisted with disgust, " Disgusting." His voice pierced through all of their hearts.
They were all certain now, the being they were facing was a vampire, they were starting to believe when Vermilion said they couldnβt kill him.
Cathra created wood and sharpened it into stakes. " If itβs a vampire then it must have the weaknesses of a vampire."
The herald just smiled at her, then he pointed his finger. Cat immediately jumped in to defend her mother.
A blood red ray shot out and went straight for her heart. Somebody else stood in to defend her.
It was set, his sand turned into glass forming a mirror Infront of him. The ray was not made of blood but blood red light.
It was reflected by the mirror and shot back towards the herald. He didnβt bother dodging and it pierced into his head.
Instead of opening a wound the ray sunk in and disappeared. Everybodyβs face turned even more grim.
They hesitated to attack him, they were obviously terrified until Cat attacked. Her body turned into a white streak of light.
Her palm tapped towards his head, the martial intent around it swayed gently like mist.
Even in this situation her movements were still graceful. " I admire your courage little girl, I am a man of taste, join me and you shall rule this world."
Cat wouldβve laughed at that but she wasnβt in the mood right now. Her every instinct told her she would die in the next moment.
Her while gown flustered and she reappeared in her original position with a grim face.
She had a feeling if she had touched him she wouldβve died. The herald suddenly raised his hand.
A blood red flame bloomed there, they felt their blood heat up but the weakest ones amongst them felt it boil.
The monk abandoned the formation pole and tried to interfere but it was too late. Blood pierced their bodies from within like thorns.
Everybody froze.
