Chapter 302: Chapter 302: Booze Seeker

Drunken Style was a martial arts she had personally created. To use it she needed to be dead drunk though.

Which is where this wine comes in, it was not actually a new wine but a stronger version of the old white wine.

This wine did not give her any abilities other than making her dead drunk, however when she was drunk she could use her martial arts.

Which she had mastered to the point of martial intent. She stumbled and swayed almost falling on her face.

Then she punched up casually, a white misty fist flew up and kept getting larger. By the time it reached Vermilion it was as large as a mountain.

It presence alone shook the sky, had Ved been here he would’ve been surprised by her martial intent.

It was almost as strong as his, and that’s after he faced the herald of nightmares and his image made it stronger to increase his chances of survival.

Meaning without his image, in terms of just pure martial arts she was stronger than he was.

Vermilion pointed his folded fan at the fist, a ray of condensed fire shot out to meet it. They reached a stalemate for a few moments.

The sky quaked then they cancelled each other out, Vermilion frowned, this was his first time facing martial intent.

He had no idea it was this powerful, the others were surprised as well especially Cat’s friends.

It should be mentioned that at the same rank, fighting an entire grade above you was incredibly hard.

Especially when that grade is mythical but none was more surprised and shaken by this as Vermilion.

He was certain he was stronger than her but that’s because he received the blood of the herald.

Had he fought her before then, he wasn’t certain he would’ve won. Before, he thought only four beings posed a threat to him in this world.

Ved, the monk, Linglong and Naledi. Of course he didn’t know much about Ursela or he would’ve counted her as well.

While she was weaker than Linglong because the level of her bloodline was lower at low legendary while Linglong’s was at the peak of legendary grade.

She was still a kun, a creature as powerful as true dragons plus she used water which was a counter for his fire.

Now however, there was another who could possibly threaten him, he did not like that at all.

His eyes turned even colder, he opened his fan and waved it at her. Flames fell from the sky like a curtain.

They were so vast they covered the entire island. Everybody frowned realising how powerful he actually was.

If they faced this attack by themselves, they would find it hard to block it. Aira shook her vessel.

Bird cages appeared around everybody besides the monk and Cat. Tens of thousands of arrays could be seen on the bars of the bird cages.

Before anybody could react they were teleported away from the island. They reappeared thousands of kilometres away.

Aira waved her hand and six black pillars appeared out of thin air. Each 12 kilometres tall and over 3 kilometres in diameter.

Ndu and general Ndlovu immediately took a pillar each. She ordered those with the toughest bodies do so as well.

Four others stood forward including Ahmanet. Her scorpion exoskeleton body made her incredibly durable physically powerful.

The other three also had defence and strength type abilities. She ordered them to take their positions and the six pillars formed a hexagon around the island.

This was her formation, a trap barrier requiring six people with strong bodies working together to set.

After they were set she shook her vessel and chanted. A golden barrier appeared a thousand kilometres around the island.

The barrier was a hexagonal prism that reached beyond the clouds. After it was set Vermilion and the other two noticed it as well.

Cat was too drunk to care and the monk still had no expression on his face. Vermilion on the other hand frowned.

He knew this formation wasn’t going to be beneficial to him considering it was set by his enemies.

Cat tilted her gourd and drank more alcohol, then she spit it out. Drops of transparent liquid filled the sky covering the entire area inside the barrier.

Then she swayed left and right. To everybody looking at her she looked blurry like there were multiple versions of her.

" Drunken Style Third Form: Booze Seeker." Everybody heard her whisper then she disappeared.

A tiny drop of alcohol behind Vermilion exploded and she appeared. Before he could react she kicked him on the face.

He raised his arm to block then she stopped her leg mid swing which caught him off guard, her body leaned to the side as if she was falling.

Her left foot landed on his cheek instead, his body shot out like a streak of red light and hit the barrier on the other end.

The entire barrier shook but it held. Vermilion flew back up and wiped the blood on his mouth.

" I have to admit, you are much stronger than I ever gave you credit for." She didn’t answer and drank even more.

Everybody stood quite, the only sound that could be heard was her gulping down her booze.

" Tell me, what was that technique, it can’t be just martial arts." She still didn’t answer him but he was right.

Booze seeker was a combination of martial arts and essence technique. She learnt about the other dimensions.

Then she realised that her white wine can act like a mirror, it took her years but eventually she was able to use it to enter the mirror realm.

It was there that she realised it was not so easy. Without mirror essence energy which only those with mirror related abilities can use.

Navigating the mirror realm was too hard, she was almost trapped there forever. It was only after using her martial intent that she managed to escape.

Then she realised it, using martial intent which was unbound by the rules of the mirror domain she could survive there for long and move freely.

The mirror realm had natural phenomenons called fractures. Fractures can take people out of the mirror realm into the mortal realm.

However it was random, one can even find themselves in a completely different part of the universe or the centre of a black hole.

Which is where the drops of liquor come in. Using her alcohol she was able to connect it to a single fracture making it permanent.

Using this fracture she is able to enter the dream realm through one of the drops and come out of another almost instantly as if teleporting.

Of course it wasn’t so easy, she can’t just enter through drops of alcohol with her weight.

So she applied a process similar to White’s martial arts. She turned the feeling of weightlessness she felt when drunk to be real.

She does this by letting her body lose and evaporating most of the water in her body. Which is why she has to drink a lot everytime after she used this move to compensate for the lost water with alcohol.

It was not like losing water in her body would kill her.
