"Come on, get a bit lower, let me clip those wings," Smirked Colt, as the Monster Queen he was fighting narrowed its eyes at him warily.

He was up against a Griffin Monster Queen, a Monster that usually had the head and wings of an eagle and the body and tail of a lion.

As for the Monster Queen, it didn’t have any front legs, but its hind legs were longer and more limber than regular Griffins. Its wings grew out from a lower spot compared to regular Griffins as well, they usually grow from their shoulder blades, but the Queen’s wings were positioned on its sides, just below its shoulders.

Its tail was thicker and longer than usual, with a sharp, narrow spike extending out of the end, and the tips of its ribs were poking out of its chest, sharp and curved. freёnovelkiss.com

As Colt then fired out a blast of blood up at it, the Monster Queen swiftly veered across to evade it, before letting out a sharp screech as it swooped down towards Colt with immense speed.

Colt sprang back as it closed in and swiped its talons across at him, deliberately letting the Monster graze his chest, a wide smirk spreading out across his face as trickles of blood ran down his torso.

A hint of confusion appeared in the Monster Queen’s eyes before it quickly flew back up as Colt extended out a blood tendril and whipped it at the Monster, a shallow cut appearing across its chest as it shot back up into the air.

It then zipped across the air as Colt unleashed a barrage of blood arrows at it, evading the attack before screeching sharply as a couple of the arrows grazed the side of its body, narrowly missing its wings.

"Wow, based on the look in your eyes just then, you’re smart enough to realize that I let you scratch me on purpose, aren’t you? Cool. Though, I was hoping for a slightly deeper scratch," Colt sighed wistfully, before a stiff gusts of winds hit him as the Monster Queen began flapping its wings at him with all its strength.

It then swooped down again with immense speed as Colt stumbled back slightly, screeching viciously as it closed on on him, its talons poised to strike his head.

Right as it swiped its talons at him, he tilted his upper body back, a malevolent smile spreading out across his lips as a cut appeared across his forehead, a startled screech of pain ringing out from the Monster Queen as a sharp, stabbing pain erupted across its stomach.

It turned its gaze down, to see Colt’s dagger lodged in the middle of its stomach, its vision blurring as the weapon injected its venom into the Monster.

A violent shudder of pain erupted across its body as Colt drove the dagger deeper in, blood pouring out the corners of its beak.

As Colt began to twist the dagger, the Monster Queen quickly clawed the dagger out as the venom coursed through its blood, starting to fly away before coming to an abrupt halt as Colt swiftly grabbed its legs with a pair of blood tendrils.

"Heh, not so fast. I know that look, you were about to run away, weren’t you? Sorry, but I can’t let you do that. I’d have really like to play around a bit more, but now that you’re trying to escape, I guess I don’t have that luxury anymore. Now, then...[Blood Zone]."

The Monster Queen screeched desperately as it tried to break free of the blood tendrils, before freezing as a massive amount of blood burst out and spread out across the ground, before rising up and forming a large, swirling dome of blood.

Dozens of tendrils extended out of the blood on the ground, wrapping around the Monster Queen’s wings, legs and torso, restraining it firmly as it frantically thrashed and struggled, but to no avail.

"Honestly, torturing Monsters isn’t anywhere near as fun as torturing people, so I won’t drag this out...much," Smirked Colt, before unleashing a powerful, pressurized blood slash, slicing through the base of the Monster’s left wing and severing it.

The Monster roared in agony as its wing hit the blood-coated ground with a splat, a violent spray of blood erupting out of the stump left where its wing used to be, before Colt sliced off its other wing with a another pressurized blood slash.

He then approached it as it continued to struggle, immense fear in its eyes as it met his gaze, before he whipped his dagger across, slicing open its throat.

As a fountain of blood sprayed out, Colt stepped back and took down the blood dome, the Monster collapsing onto the ground while gasping for air as blood gushed out of its throat, a puddle forming across the ground as it writhed and spasmed in agony.

"Huh, looks like the others still haven’t taken down the other Griffins. Well, at least they’re all alive...I should help them before that changes," Remarked Colt, cracking his neck with a tilt of his head as he began to head back to his team.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the nation...

"Hahahaha, that all you got, you ugly fuck?!" Exclaimed Lexia, evading as the Monster Queen she was fighting attacked, before striking its left eye with a bone bullet, eliciting a roar of pain from it as she blinded it.

She was fighting a Caimanoid Monster Queen, it was about a foot taller than regular Caimanoids, with jaws where its left hand would usually be, and another pair of jaws at the end of its tail.

It had a third eye below its right eye, and the top of its upper jaw was slightly upturned.

The Monster Queen snarled in pain and anger as blood streamed out of its pierced left eye, before driving its left arm towards Lexia and snapping its jaws at her head.

She swiftly raised her hand and formed a bone spike, the jaws at the end of the Monster’s arm clamping around the spike, its arm shuddering in pain as the spike pierced into the top and bottom of its jaws.

She then sprang back as the Monster swung its right foot out towards her, evading the attack before she swung her Relic Armament across while expanding it out, the large, spiky metal ball slamming against the left side of its face.

Its head jerked across to the right as it stumbled across, blood trickling out the left corner of its jaw, before it whipped its tail towards Lexia as she leapt towards it, the jaws at the end of its tail opening wide.

Lexia swiftly fired out a rapid, piercing bone spike from her palm, hitting the Monster’s tail just above where the jaws started from, pinning its tail to the ground, before she extended out another bone spike from her palm, piercing into the middle of the Monster’s chest and starting to branch out inside it.

She then quickly detached the bone spike and sprang back as the Monster Queen furiously swiped its claws at her head, a small scratch appearing across the bridge of her nose as one of its claws nicked her.

As she backed away, her expression darkened as she touched at the scratch, the Monster Queen pulling the bone spike in its tail out and tossing it away with a pained shudder, starting to pull out the spike in its chest before stiffening and letting go as it realized that the bone branches inside its chest would do serious damage if forcibly pulled out.

Its eyes then widened in alarm as a rapid volley of dozens of bone arrows came shooting towards it, before quickly scrambling away to evade the barrage, roaring in pain as a couple of the arrows pierced into its left side, another grazing its back, before a rapidly spinning bone boomerang came zipping in with immense speed.

The Monster roared in pain and collapsed onto one knee as the boomerang sliced across its left ankle, blood streaming out before it scrambled away as Lexia unleashed several bone needles towards it, striking its shoulder and the side of its arm, piercing through its scales.

"Now, TAKE THIS!!!" She yelled furiously, as she leapt up and swung her weapon down at full force while expanding it, a sharp crunch ringing out as the spiky metal ball slammed onto the top of the Monster Queen’s head, severely injuring and dazing it.

Streaks of blood trickled down from the top of its head, the impact having deeply cracked its skull, the spikes on the sphere pierced through its skin.

She then extended out another bone spike, before plunging it into the Monster Queen’s right eye, piercing into its brain and killing it instantly.

"Hmph, you really thought you stood a chance against me, you stupid little-...never mind, you’re already dead, I’m just wasting my breath. Well, not that you’d be able to understand me either way."
