Banished to the Abyss After Defying the Author-Chapter 33: Crimson Moon Princess
Noah looked around.
The desert had returned.
Endless sand stretched in every direction beneath a bright blue sky. Vampires and skeletal soldiers rose from the dunes like a silent army reassembling itself.
Lengronia stood across from him, smiling faintly.
Noah wiped the blood from beneath his eyes.
"You used her body as a shield. So you knew I would save her, and then you took over her body again instantly when I was bleeding like this. So this was your plan, huh?"
Lengronia’s smile widened.
"Wow. Bingo. You’re right."
Noah looked at her.
She walked closer to him.
"I didn’t know you could use essence power. Well, it’s nothing in comparison to Authority."
Noah looked at her steadily.
"I know that. Law or essence can control one aspect of reality, while Authority allows the user to govern the whole reality under a specific command."
She looked shocked.
"Wow. You know very well. But I still can’t deduce who you are."
Her eyes glowed red as she looked at Noah, trying to read him, trying to find out who he really was.
Noah stood up and looked at her.
"You can never know who I really am. So don’t waste your time."
She got annoyed.
"Then I will make you my slave."
She leaned toward Noah, getting so close that her lips were almost touching his. Noah could see her vampire teeth clearly.
Then she leaned toward his shoulder and bit down.
Noah looked at her.
Suddenly, memories flooded inside her mind.
She saw many things. Beings she couldn’t even comprehend the look of. Layers of existence beyond her understanding. Voices older than anything she’d ever known.
She instantly stepped away.
Her head started hurting intensely, pain exploding behind her eyes.
She collapsed on the ground.
The whole environment vanished around them.
They returned to the grassland with the Real Sky visible above.
Noah stood up and looked at her unconscious body.
"Really a foolish woman. She thought she could control me and understand what she was never meant to understand."
He looked at the Real Sky.
First Chaos, now this dracula princess. I guess Xenovia made these beings too.
She woke up again, still holding her head.
"Are your instincts to dominate me calmed down now or not?"
She looked at him with anger and annoyance.
"Who the hell are you even? Why doesn’t my Draconic Authority work on you?"
Noah sighed.
"Because Authority isn’t absolute. It governs reality, but it doesn’t own it. Essence controls one piece. Magic controls less. You’re aiming at me like I’m part of your domain."
She frowned.
"I’m not?"
"No."
"Then what are you?"
Noah didn’t answer.
"Even if you have Authority, it does not mean you are omnipotent. Authorities can be countered by other Authority or by a being that is totally beyond Authority itself."
She looked shocked.
"What? Do you have Authority too?"
Noah looked at her and thought to himself.
Did she literally ask the best thing she could? I am beyond Authority. But I guess I’ll just agree with her for now.
He looked at her.
"Yes. I have Authority too."
She looked at Noah with wide eyes.
Noah sighed.
"If you still want to tell me, you can tell me your past fully with no more fights. Because this time, I will kill you."
He said it seriously.
She could sense extreme danger to her whole existence. Her legs started shaking, though she kept her face composed.
"Okay. Let me tell you."
Noah looked at her shaking legs and her composed face.
Maybe I can know more from her backstory, so I can use it to find that key.
She looked at him.
"What do you want to know?"
Noah looked at her.
"I want to know why you are in that girl’s body. And many things."
She looked at him suspiciously, then sighed.
"We lived on the Crimson Moon, and we existed before humans. But humans attacked us and killed us."
Noah looked at her.
"Crimson Moon? What is that?"
She sighed.
"Crimson Moon is a place in the far west where the whole land is like the reflection of a crimson moon."
Noah looked at her.
"So Crimson Moon is a place where you draculas lived, and it’s in the far west, right?"
She nodded.
"I am the daughter of Alcidies-II and also have Authority as Draconin."
Noah sighed internally.
Alextruo really made these beings despite the fact that I erased his dragons.
He looked at her.
"Okay. So how did you get inside Astriye’s body, and why do you think men are useless?"
She looked at him.
"When I died, due to my Draconin Authority that lets me travel to another body host, I arrived inside her."
Noah sighed.
"So you know most things about Astriye. Tell me. Maybe I can find the key too." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
She looked at him.
"Astriye was always bullied by the men of the household. And even her mom supported men because it’s the law that men are best and women are lower."
Noah was about to say something when suddenly the same monsters appeared in front of them.
But now they had golden eyes.
Lengronia stiffened.
"They’re filled with pure magic now."
Noah looked at them carefully.
He could see pure magic radiating from them, dense and refined.
Who can control this? Is it someone from Dragonforce again? Or some hidden fate or destiny manipulation? Or some unknown repercussions from something else? I don’t know what is happening in this kingdom.
The golden-eyed beasts began circling them.
Lengronia stepped beside him, not attacking this time, just tense.
Noah spoke quietly.
"You see it now."
She glanced at him.
"See what?"
"You are not the mastermind."
The beasts roared.
Noah look at her face.
"Do you know anything about these phantasmal beasts?"
She glanced at him then at the beasts.
"These Phantasmal beasts were use to our food in the older times but now they are something else."
As the Beasts suddenly attacked on them and noah saw the red flash of hairs and the person with the long sword cut the beast in two part and stand in front of noah.
