Chapter 262: Episode 260: Scolding the biggies.

Men will always be men won’t they?

Couldn’t they keep the sex off discussions? Why must they boast about it?

And right in my living room?

Roxy stomped down the wooden staircase. Each step sent a sharp jolt of pain through her sore hips and lower back, but the irritation pulsing through her veins easily overpowered it.

She gripped the wooden banister tightly, Kaelen’s oversized cotton shirt swishing around her thighs as she descended.

The volume of the argument echoing from the living room was deafening.

"You lack control," Kaelen’s voice was a low, dangerous snarl. "You took advantage of her exhaustion. We agreed to let her rest."

"She didn’t look like she wanted to rest when she was riding Torian’s knot while she looked like a feline," Ren shot back, his tone dripping with sheer, unadulterated smugness. "You should have heard the sounds she made, Wolf. She completely lost her mind."

Roxy flushed in embarrassment.

Was that really what happened?

Something heavy shattered against a wall. Zarek’s voice boomed, "I will rip your tongue out and feed it to the hounds, Fox! You pushed her until she passed out!"

"She passed out because she couldn’t handle our stamina," Torian rumbled smoothly, sounding incredibly arrogant. "It was a thorough, proper claiming. Something you two clearly failed to accomplish the night before."

Roxy reached the bottom step and stopped dead. Her face felt like it had been shoved into an open furnace. The heat rushed from her neck all the way to her hairline. They were actually standing in the middle of the house, casually discussing how hard she climaxed.

A familiar blue holographic window popped into existence right in front of her face.

[Didn’t you climax like that? To the point they thought you were going mad.]

Roxy mentally ignored the screen. She was just incredibly grateful the System didn’t decide to chime in with a pregnancy alert right now. If a glowing window popped up announcing ’Torian’s Seed Confirmed’ in the middle of this ridiculous testosterone fest, she would have completely lost her mind and burned the Manor down herself.

"Are you all completely out of your minds?!" Roxy screamed, stepping fully into the living room.

The four massive Beast Kings froze. The living room was a disaster zone. A heavy wooden chair lay splintered into pieces near the fireplace. Zarek was mid-stride, looking ready to punch Torian through the exterior wall.

Kaelen’s claws were fully extended. Ren was grinning, his red tail wagging proudly, while Torian stood tall, looking entirely unapologetic.

Roxy marched right into the center of the room.

"Do you realize," Roxy began, pointing a shaking finger directly at Torian and Ren, "that the children are literally upstairs? Right above our heads! Why are you standing in the middle of the house shouting about knots and blindfolds where they can hear you?!"

Torian frowned. He crossed his thick, scarred arms over his chest, his tiger tail flicking behind him. "It is the truth. They are Beastkin, Roxy. It would be better they learn these things earlier. They need to understand pack dominance, claiming rights, and how a strong Alpha satisfies his mate."

Roxy stopped breathing. She slowly turned her head to look at the White Tiger.

She leveled a glare at him so intense, so completely devoid of humor or warmth, that the temperature in the room seemed to physically drop. Her green eyes narrowed into lethal slits.

Torian’s mouth clicked shut. He swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing, and wisely took half a step backward. He decided not to push his luck.

Syris slithered down the remaining steps, and came to a halt right beside Roxy. The Snake Beastman didn’t say a single word. He just crossed his arms, tilted his head, and gave the four tense Alphas a lazy, incredibly superior look.

"You are all acting like stupid, territorial animals," Roxy announced, crossing her arms to match Syris. "Yesterday, we talked about a deadly plague that could wipe out this entire continent. I asked you to brainstorm. I asked you to behave. Instead, I wake up to a dick-measuring contest."

"Roxy, we were merely—" Kaelen started, his golden eyes pleading.

"No," Roxy cut him off sharply. "You’re done. All four of you. Because you can’t behave, there are consequences. I am not sleeping with any of you tonight."

Zarek’s embers flared brighter. "What?"

"You heard me," Roxy stated flatly, ignoring the furious growl building in the Dragon’s chest. "I am sleeping with Syris in one of the guest rooms tonight. You four can sleep down here and argue until your throats bleed."

They all panicked. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Wait, Roxy, that isn’t fair! I didn’t break the chair!" Ren pleaded.

"My decision is final," Roxy snapped.

Before any of them could close the distance and try to use their massive physical presence to sway her, she grabbed Syris by the wrist. The Snake Beastman let out a low, deeply amused hiss as she tugged him forcefully toward the stairs, leaving the four Alphas staring after them in absolute shock.

Roxy practically dragged Syris down the upstairs hallway and shoved the master bedroom door open. She slammed it shut behind them, leaning her back against the heavy wood with a loud, exhausted sigh.

The children were huddled together on the massive bed. Drax had his wings slightly flared, his arms wrapped protectively around Iris and Tanith, while Axel and Onyx sat close by, looking wide-eyed and worried. The shouting downstairs had clearly frightened them.

The sight of their anxious faces instantly shattered Roxy’s anger. The lingering adrenaline and irritation just melted away, leaving only maternal softness. She pushed off the door and walked over to the bed.

"I’m sorry, my babies," Roxy murmured, crawling onto the edge of the mattress and pulling them into a massive, tangled group hug. "Mama was just yelling at the daddies because they forgot their manners and were being too loud. Everything is okay. Nobody is actually fighting."

Iris nuzzled her face into Roxy’s neck, taking a deep breath of her scent, and Tanith patted her cheek with a chubby hand. Drax let out a long sigh, his wings relaxing and folding neatly against his back.

Syris stood near the door, watching the domestic scene with a soft, genuine smile.

"I will excuse myself to prepare the guest room for us," Syris said, his voice a smooth, low rumble. "I will ensure the fire is lit and the bed is adequately warm for you to rest."

"Thank you, Syris," Roxy smiled at him over Drax’s shoulder.

Syris bowed his head slightly, his long tail giving a happy, contented swish as he slipped out the door to claim his prize.

Roxy watched the door click shut. She let out another breath, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. Finally, a quiet night.

Syris was cold-blooded. He wouldn’t be interested in a sweaty, aggressive, hours-long marathon like the others. He just liked to coil up, absorb her body heat, and sleep. It was exactly the kind of peaceful, low-energy escape she needed to let her sore body heal.

Wait.

Roxy froze. Her hand stopped mid-stroke on Iris’s dark hair. Her violet eyes went perfectly round.

A terrifying piece of Beast World biology suddenly slammed into her brain with the force of a freight train. She hadn’t slept with the Snake Beastman since long before she fell into the ocean. She had completely forgotten his specific, unique anatomy.

Did she make a mistake?

Syris has two hefty dicks... what if he decides to have sex with me too??
