Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 73: Soul Attack
Chapter 73: Soul Attack
[You have died.]
[An Extra life has been used.]
[Reconstruction process initiated...]
Daniel’s lifeless, headless body lay in a pool of his own blood.
But... a soft black and red light began to seep out of his heart.
His skin began to close. Veins, like glowing branches, reformed.
The bones of his skull regrew.
Muscles layered together. Skin regenerated.
And in an instant, his eyes opened.
Daniel stood again without a sound. He took a deep breath, rolled his shoulders, and did two simple stretches.
Azarath, who had been watching the entire scene, took a step back. His eyes were wide with shock.
"...What?" He had no words for what he just saw. Not even in his worst nightmares had he imagined something like this.
Daniel exhaled calmly—then suddenly:
[Please select the Fallen you wish to delete.]
Daniel paused, looked at the list.
Pride, Vorak, Azrak... and at the bottom, "fool."
He smiled and selected "fool."
At that moment, one of the Fallen vanished in a puff of black smoke.
Azarath stepped forward, still in shock.
"You... how did you come back to life?"
"Just like that." Daniel shrugged.
Azarath frowned this time. His tone grew heavier, more dangerous.
"I underestimated you. But now... I’m really curious. That ability... hmm, how about this? Give me that skill right now, and I’ll let you and the girl leave here alive."
He had never seen a skill like that in his entire life. He was sure he had killed Daniel with his own hands—there was no doubt about it.
So how did he come back to life? Immortality was something many sought, especially those who had reached the top of the power chain.
Unfortunately, no one had ever truly achieved real immortality. Sure, there were techniques that made killing you harder, or even allowed you to come back automatically if your physical body was destroyed.
He had heard of such skills before, but no matter how much he searched, he had never been able to obtain one. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
And now this ant standing in front of him had one of those skills. How could he possibly ignore it?
"No." Daniel paused for a moment, then answered.
That ability was tied to his innate talent. He couldn’t just give it away because someone asked.
Azarath’s eyes burned with fury.
"Fine. If you won’t give it to me—then I’ll take it myself!" In a flash, he vanished. Only the sound of wind warned of his attack.
Daniel quickly raised his guard and moved defensively—but Azarath drove his knee into Daniel’s stomach, sending him flying back.
Daniel felt his organs almost tear apart. Then Azarath’s fist crashed into his side.
Boom!
Daniel hit the ground—but stood up again. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.
"If this keeps up, he’ll kill me again." He frowned. He wasn’t immortal. If he died nine more times, it would be over for real.
He clenched his fists. His eyes flashed. But this flash wasn’t normal light.
[Light of Destruction.]
Two beams of light shot from his eyes—Annihilation Light—directly at Azarath.
But... Azarath tilted his head, dodged them easily, and calmly stepped forward.
Daniel charged, his fists like lightning—one to the side, one to the jaw, one to the gut.
But... Azarath didn’t even flinch. He blocked each punch with a knee, an elbow—or even a mocking stare.
Daniel’s attacks didn’t do a thing. It was like trying to tickle him.
Daniel was sent flying again. His lip was split, ribs broken, right arm limp and useless.
"He’s too strong... damn it, I can’t even land a hit..."
But Daniel’s mind was still working. His eyes followed Azarath’s attack patterns, the angles, the foot-to-torso distance, shoulder rotations...
"Fuck it. The gap is too big—even strategy won’t help."
Azarath came down from above, his fist carrying crushing energy.
Daniel shouted—
"Royal Barrier!" A radiant shield of light formed around him.
The shield stood like a transparent dome against Azarath’s strike.
The blow landed—it held for a moment—
Then shattered.
The shield exploded in a burst of light, its stored energy shooting at Azarath. But he passed through it easily and drove his knee into Daniel’s stomach again.
Boom!
Daniel was launched tens of meters away, slamming into a cliff wall with a sickening crunch. Rocks cracked. His body hung limp like a rag doll.
"Lord..." The Fallen, who had nearly finished their task at the battlefield’s edge, suddenly reacted.
Vorak, Pride, Azrak—all three charged at Daniel with silent screams.
Azarath looked down at them, annoyed.
"Get lost, you annoying ants."
He spread his arms. Crimson and black energy coiled in the air.
[Millennial Seal of Domination.]
A compressed wave of crushing energy shot toward the Fallen.
All nine blasts struck with a force that cracked the earth—obliterating them.
Daniel, barely conscious, watched through the dust and debris.
"You still won’t give me that skill?" Azarath walked toward him.
"In your... dreams." Daniel muttered, bloodied, lips torn.
Azarath raised an eyebrow.
This human was even dumber than he thought—he didn’t even understand the situation he was in.
[Eternal Judgment]
Above Azarath, swords of light laced with Annihilation aura appeared.
They trembled—then shot down at him like a storm.
Azarath tried to dodge, blocking most—
But one sword grazed his face.
Black blood dripped from his cheek.
Azarath paused. His eyes flared with rage.
"How dare... a filthy ant like you...?"
When was the last time anyone had hurt him?
Had a lowly ant like this boy ever scratched him before? He felt his pride boiling.
He raised his hand. A radiant energy gathered in his palm— But this time, it wasn’t physical or magical energy.
This was a blow meant to destroy the soul. If his guess was correct, this boy’s skill could only bring him back to life if his body was destroyed—not his soul.
So he decided to use an attack that would directly destroy his soul. He didn’t even care about obtaining the skill anymore—he just wanted to satisfy his rage.
Daniel suddenly felt a deep, primal danger.
If this hit landed... there would be no coming back. He would truly die.

A/n : Honestly, the amount of support has dropped a lot. I feel like I might be doing something wrong, or maybe this arc is just boring. But for now, I’ll try to post two Chapters a day to give the novel a bit of a boost.
I’ll upload the rest of the bonus Chapters next week. And thank you so much for reading my novel!
