Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 714: Another Training Battle But With The Girls
Daniel returned home and found his family already there. His sisters and his mother had come back and were sitting on the couch watching TV.
He sat down next to them and rested for a while until the girls asked him to watch their training results from this period, just like before.
He didn’t refuse. In fact, he was a little curious to see how much stronger these girls had gotten. Not only had they reached the peak of Rank E, but they had also absorbed the Phoenix Tears.
Their raw power might even be able to match the peak of Rank C, or maybe a bit less, but it should be somewhere around there.
All three of them went to the special training ground. Like before, Daniel picked up a wooden sword, and both girls gathered all their power and prepared themselves fully.
"Brother, this time you’re going to be shocked! We’ve gotten way stronger since the last time we had a practice fight," Alice said with a smirk on her face.
However, this time, unlike before, she didn’t try to force her brother to use his full power or a real weapon. Because now she could feel the huge, infinite gap between them.
It wasn’t something words could describe. It was like the difference between a human and a god.
"If you can even force me to take a single step, you win," Daniel looked at their confidence and smiled.
"Really? Maybe we can’t beat you, but that shouldn’t be too hard," Tiana said in surprise. She had the same thoughts as Alice and didn’t think they had any chance of winning.
But making Daniel take one step? It seemed difficult, but not impossible.
Daniel just shrugged in response, and with that small movement, the two girls launched their attack. Right from the start, they mobilized all their power and attacked with everything they had.
Their strikes came one after another toward their brother, yet every single one of them was deflected with a simple move before they even had a chance to touch him.
Forget about making him take a step, even their attacks couldn’t reach him and were blocked with just a simple wooden sword.
Alice and Tiana exchanged a glance and sent a wave of their strongest skills toward him, basically using all the power of the Phoenix Tears.
But the result was the same. In the end, it was them who collapsed on the ground from exhaustion and sweat, without Daniel even launching a single attack at them.
The fight lasted almost five hours. Forget forcing him to take a single step, they couldn’t even move a single strand of his hair.
"This is impossible! Ugh, how...?" Alice muttered in disbelief while lying flat on the ground from exhaustion.
She knew she had no chance of defeating her brother, but the fact that he didn’t even attack them, just defended, and they still couldn’t move a single hair on his head...
"I guess our efforts weren’t enough," Tiana also whispered. It was clear that her confidence had taken a heavy hit too.
Throughout the entire time, their main goal had been to impress Daniel, to improve so much that he would at least praise them once.
That’s why they had trained relentlessly for months without rest, learned under the best Awakened in the Fallen Sun Guild, and fought, and beaten, almost every Awakened their age.
They had progressed so far that they had practically become legends across the entire country: the sisters who had never lost!
Their fame had spread even to neighboring countries, and many guilds had sent them recruitment offers.
Yet despite all of that, it seemed like every effort they made had been worthless. In the end, they couldn’t even move a single strand of their brother’s hair in battle.
They knew comparing was wrong, the power gap was simply too massive. But the fact that not even a hair on this man moved was a huge blow to their pride and confidence.
Even if they faced their own guild leader, they were sure they could at least force him to take one step during the fight.
’So does that mean he’s even stronger than the guild leader?’ That thought took root in both of their minds.
On the other side, Daniel was staring at them silently, seeming deep in thought. He didn’t say anything to comfort them, he was actually reviewing their progress.
Tiana was an elemental mage, and thanks to the ring he had given her before, she could now use all four elements without any restrictions.
In their previous training fight, this girl had some noticeable weaknesses, but now? Almost no obvious flaws could be seen.
Her control over the four elements had increased dramatically. She could freely and consecutively use whichever one she wanted.
Especially fire, probably because of absorbing the Phoenix Tears. It was clear her affinity and control over fire was on a completely different level compared to the other elements.
So much so that she probably had Rank A-level control over fire, and her fire attack power was also extremely high.
On top of that, she had learned to use the elements as defensive layers. For example, when she wanted to attack, she would cover her fists with earth or water elements. This both increased her attack power and reduced any damage she might take.
Unlike before when she always attacked from a distance, this time she charged at him like a close-range fighter.
She had basically fixed almost all her weaknesses.
As for Alice, her biggest problem used to be her arrogance, but it seemed that had disappeared, or at least it no longer interfered with her fights.
Her swordsmanship had become extremely skilled. The number of attacks she made had decreased, but every single one targeted vital or super-vital points. She basically tried to hit weaknesses directly.
At one point she realized the wooden sword was acting as his guard and tried to attack his wrist to make him drop it.
On top of that, all her attacks had perfect timing and were in complete coordination with her teammate. She struck right after Tiana’s attacks, targeting the spots that looked less defended or, even when needed, the same spots Tiana had hit to break through his defense.
It didn’t work in the end, but at least it showed she had learned how, when, and how much to attack.
More importantly, she was using the power of the stars more and more.
But during those attacks, he felt another power... Destruction!
’Looks like my little sister has taken an interest in the Law of Destruction,’ he laughed out loud and then walked toward them.
It wasn’t hard to figure out. Every single attack from Alice carried a clear intent of destruction, as if she was attacking with the pure purpose of ruining and annihilating her enemy. He could see that thirst and excitement burning in his sister’s eyes.
He himself was currently one of the users of the Law of Destruction, so he could sense other people’s affinity and pull toward this law even more clearly than most.
Still, he had already expected his sister to eventually gravitate toward this law.
’If that’s the case, then I should be able to help her in this matter too.’
The two girls noticed him and braced themselves for all kinds of comments about their mistakes, maybe even scolding and being told they were still weak and had a lot of problems.
But the words that came out of Daniel’s mouth next were nothing like what they expected.
