Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 707: System Is Dangerous?
The Ancient Dragon did not respond immediately. It looked at Daniel deeply, as if thinking about how it should answer this question.
"Divinity belongs to gods, not something mortals can possess. Demi Gods can form incomplete versions of it, but they cannot complete it unless they become a true god."
"But my Lord, because of your race, you already possess a complete Divinity. And that is where the problem lies. In the world of mortals, there is no way to increase the power of Divinity."
"If you are looking for the general path, it is both simple and difficult. You must hunt Divine Fruits and merge them with your own Divinity. That is the way to grow stronger as a god," the Ancient Dragon explained.
"Divine Fruits? So they don’t exist in this world? In other words, there is no way for me to grow stronger?" Daniel frowned. This was not good news for him.
It had never crossed his mind that his path of progress and growth could stop. But now that he thought about it, it made sense.
If gods could grow stronger in mortal worlds, what would be the point of Ascension? Especially since thousands of years ago there was no system forcing them to ascend.
So there was only one answer: resources. They needed resources that could not be obtained here. And these Divine Fruits had to be part of that.
"They do not exist in this world. Divine Fruits are actually condensed and solidified masses of enormous divine power. Something like that does not naturally exist in this world. It could form, but not under normal conditions," the dragon shook its head and answered.
"Divine power? If I’m not mistaken, the power of faith can be converted into divine power, right?" Daniel’s eyes flashed.
The Ancient Dragon nodded in confirmation. The power of faith could indeed be converted into divine power. That was more or less the reason why most founders of religions were able to ascend to godhood.
Many people think reaching the Demi God rank is the hardest part, but that is wrong. The hardest part comes after reaching the Demi God rank.
Because to go from a Demi God to a true god, it is necessary to create a complete Divinity and raise it to at least the minimum level required to directly borrow the power of Laws.
Divinity is very special. In fact, it is a higher form of the source of Laws. Once created, it acts as an endless source of energy and access to Laws, without limitation.
Founders of religions, by converting the power of faith into divine power, were able to complete their Divinity and raise it to the minimum level required for a true god.
There are other ways as well. For example, finding scattered divine power in the world. Some beings are born with divine power by nature. They can be captured, and the divine power can be extracted from their bodies and absorbed.
The same process can be done with treasures that contain divine power. However, this process is extremely long, time-consuming, and the chance of success is very low.
The best way is to establish a religion. But creating a religion is not a joke. It requires true legitimacy from one of the Supreme Laws.
For Daniel, this was not a problem, because he practically had plans to rebuild the Religion of Eternity. With its help, he could increase his Divinity and grow stronger.
By using Divinity, one can also expand and build their Inner World. The stronger that world becomes, the stronger the gods become.
"Although I do not know how it works for you, my Lord, since you are not at the level of a Demi God. I assume you will have to put in much more effort."
"It’s not a problem. As long as a path exists, that is enough," Daniel smirked. He did not care about the difficulty. As long as it was possible, he would do it.
"Do you know anything more about my race?" he then moved to his next question. But the Ancient Dragon’s answer was exactly what he had heard before.
There was nothing new, except for one additional point. The Innate Primals were known for having the strongest souls and bodies among all races. Bodies even stronger than dragons.
"What do you know about Corruption and the Mother System? What are they really?" Daniel then asked an important question. He had his own theories, but he was not sure.
None of the gods he had met had given him a complete explanation about this matter.
The Ancient Dragon opened its mouth to speak, but suddenly seemed to notice something. It frowned and closed its mouth.
"So you can’t say," Daniel laughed. He recognized that reaction well. It was as if the system or something else was warning it to keep its mouth shut.
"I am sorry, my Lord," it sighed and apologized. It did not know everything, but it knew some things about this topic. From its perspective, they were not even that important.
But it seemed someone did not want it to tell its Lord anything. It felt that if it spoke, a power far beyond its understanding would definitely interfere.
"It’s fine. This seems to be one of the system’s limitations as well," Daniel nodded and did not mind. In fact, his mind moved in another direction.
The Mother System was more dangerous than he had thought. It clearly placed many restrictions on its users.
More importantly, this system practically acted like a spy and a data collector for its users. That meant all user information was being sent to its creator.
He had not cared about such things before. But now he possessed identities that each alone could cause storms and massive waves across worlds, even among gods.
His paranoia and caution had reached their peak. Now he understood how dangerous this system could be.
To change the atmosphere, the Ancient Dragon slightly moved its body, and then an egg appeared. A very large egg. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"This?"
"This is the dragon child you raised."
"This is Finn? How and why has he turned back into an egg?" Daniel looked at the massive egg. He knew that child was with this dragon.
But he thought Finn was being trained or something similar, not that he had turned back into an egg.
"You must understand that child is a Primordial Dragon, the only remaining kind of his species in this world, and the last hope for restoring the ancient dragon bloodline. However, his potential was incomplete because he was born prematurely."
"That is why I had to reverse time for his body. There is no problem. After he is reborn, he will retain his memories," the Ancient Dragon explained.
Daniel’s eyebrows rose in surprise. He had not expected this. But as long as Finn was fine, it was not a problem.
However, a question formed in his mind. If Finn was so important to the dragons, how had humans managed to steal him?
But this was not something he wanted to ask right now. Ever since he realized the limitations created by the system, something else had been on his mind.
"The Primordial Flame can burn concepts and reality. So can I use it to burn the system and the limitations it has placed on me?"
