Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 666: The High School Reunion III
Daniel looked at his old friends, though he wasn’t sure if he could really call them old friends or not.
Especially those two guys sitting together and staring at him with hidden hostility. He didn’t have a good past with those two.
As for the girls, it was at least better. His relationship with all three of them had sometimes been neutral and sometimes somewhat close, but only to that extent. There were only two people here he had truly been close to.
Linor and Joe. Both of them had been his best friends back in high school.
"Welcome!" Linor smiled when he saw him and stood up. Daniel walked toward him, smiling, and shook his hand.
"You look a lot better than the last time I saw you." Linor looked him up and down with a grin.
"Well, I was in the hospital back then, so of course I’m much better compared to that time."
"Nice to see you all, it’s been a long time since we met." Daniel smiled, then turned his attention to the three girls and the other two guys and nodded.
"It really has been a while! But it looks like none of us have changed that much," Rivena laughed, trying to make the mood friendlier.
However, Julian and Lucas still had frowns on their faces. The reason was simple, they felt danger from this guy. Even they didn’t know why, but their instincts told them they had no chance against him.
Still, they refused to accept such a thing. Even if this trash had a reawakening, it was impossible for him to catch up to them so fast, right?
"We missed you too," Julian stood up with a smile and reached out his hand. They shook hands, and Julian smirked and started applying strength.
"I can’t say I missed you. I would’ve preferred not seeing you," Daniel said with a smile and directly applied strength as well.
As the flow of power entered, pain filled Julian’s mind, and he felt like the bones in his hand might be crushed at any moment.
He immediately pulled his hand back. The others noticed the action. Lucas’ frown deepened, but the girls looked surprised.
Joe smirked and looked at the two with clear ridicule, then gestured for Daniel to sit.
"Sorry I’m a bit late. I just came out of the Celestial Domain yesterday after almost a month, and I was tired," he apologized.
"No problem, you’re not that late," Linor said with a smile, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Huh? A month in the Celestial Domain? Isn’t that a lot? I can’t even last one full day," Rivena asked in shock.
"There were some matters I had to deal with. Anyway, how about you guys? How have these years been?" Daniel changed the topic, not wanting to go into details.
"Well, I joined a guild but continued streaming, and luckily now I have millions of followers! Seems like people really love watching a beautiful girl like me," Rivena said in a smug tone, then laughed.
"I also joined a guild and I’m getting ready to challenge the fourth floor," Thyra said in a flat, emotionless tone while continuing to chew gum.
Then everyone’s eyes fell on Sara, since it was her turn to speak. Even Julian and Lucas, who had gone quiet and were watching with hatred, looked at her.
"I was abroad. I joined a guild there," Sara spoke softly, answering in a vague tone, as if she preferred not to say more. However, her beautiful eyes were locked onto Daniel.
Everyone sighed. They were really curious about what this girl had actually been doing, since she was the only one who had gone overseas and they had no idea how she had lived her life.
Joe and Linor also gave a short summary of their lives, though it wasn’t that important to anyone since those two were already well-known.
"We both joined the Goblin Guild. By the way, James is there too. He’s now the crown prince of the Goblin Guild," and then it was Lucas and Julian’s turn.
"Anyway, how’s streaming? Is it an enjoyable job?" However, Daniel completely ignored them and focused on Rivena.
Lucas and Julian’s faces turned ugly and dark. Anger surged in their eyes, it was obvious they were furious at being ignored.
"Huh? Well, it’s an interesting job! If you can produce good content, you can make a lot of money. But the competition is really high, there are so many streamers now. And then there’s The Fallen, who stole all the attention with just one video," Rivena answered, sighing when she said the last sentence.
She had worked very hard to reach her current position and uploaded hundreds of videos, but that The Fallen became the most famous streamer in the country with just one video.
"The Fallen? Oh, he’s still being talked about?"
"Of course! Didn’t you see his video? With that video he released, it won’t be forgotten anytime soon! Though there’s been no news from him lately."
Daniel gave a stupid smile. In fact, that streamer was himself. He had completely forgotten about it and forgot to record a new video.
"Did you forget about us? Hey, hey, we’re here too," Joe hit his shoulder and said in fake sadness.
"You can join the discussion too," Daniel shrugged.
"But it’s a stupid topic! How about we talk about something more interesting? Like the fact that the country’s greatest genius, Diana, has disappeared!" 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Diana’s sudden disappearance, the greatest genius of the country, had caused a lot of noise.
But suddenly the media went silent about the matter, and that itself was strange and suspicious to Joe
However, judging from Thyra and Sara, they didn’t seem to have the slightest interest in that topic.
Linor wanted to say something, but suddenly a cold snorting sound was heard.
"Everyone talked about their situation over the past few years. Don’t you want to talk? Afraid we’ll make fun of you? Don’t worry, we know you’re still trash like before and haven’t changed much," Julian looked at Daniel and said mockingly.
