Lisa's greed got the best of her, and she picked many things. As for the price that she would've to pay for her actions, she didn't give a damn about it. After giving Elliot a flying, she walked away from him. She was seductively swaying her hips, and Elliot found her little antics quite funny.

He went back to his home, the place where he lived after joining the magician academy. As he moved so fast that no one below the Magic Lord realm would be able to notice him, no one was able to sense his arrival. He entered his room through the window. It didn't have any dust. It seemed like someone had regularly cleaned it.

He sat down on the bed and took out the various pieces of the teleportation device, and connected them.

[Congratulations! You've created a teleporter.]

[Description: You can use it to travel long distances and open portals to other worlds instantly.]

[Requirements: Massive amount of energy and coordinates of the place or planet you want to go to.]

He set it aside for the moment, and in his hands, all the shards of God's key appeared. They started resonating and produced a golden shine. Elliot thought that it might be because they were all near each other. The three shards hovered above his hand and swirled around each other. Eventually, they connected and formed God's key.

As it slowly fell down the air, Elliot grabbed it and turned it. The fabric of reality around the key twisted, and a golden gate appeared in from of him. God's Tower; these two words were on its uppermost part. Elliot had wanted to enter this place for the longest time, but due to the twist of fate and various events, he hadn't had the time to do it.

He pushed open the gate and saw blinding whiteness. He stepped into it without any hesitation and then got teleported to the first floor of God's tower. He found himself standing on a smoothened surface that was as black as charcoal. Behind him were grey walls, mostly smooth they were but wrinkled and twisted at some places. Embed in them were gems producing colorful lights, and they were the only source of light in this place.

"Where am I?"

[Welcome to the Ash Grey World!]

[You're in the Unholy Necropolis!]

[Task 1: Kill 50 Unholy Elves!]

[Task 2: Kill the Flesh-Eating Spiders and annihilate the Undead Wyverns!]

[Task 3: Find out the secrets of the Unholy Necropolis!]

[Task 4: Get out of the Unholy Necropolis!]

[Reward 1: Doorway to planet Earth!]

[Reward 2: Doorway to the Upper Surface of the Ash Grey World!]

[Reward 3: Doorway to planet Xavier!]

After going through the notification, a thoughtful look appeared on Elliot's face. He understood many things. The first was that this entire planet was the first floor of God's Tower. The Northern Duke brain really worked differently than mortals like him. Otherwise, he wouldn't have used a planet to construct a tower. The second was that he was underground and in a massive lair with many pathways. The third was that he needed to complete the many tasks mentioned by Hope or else he wouldn't be able to go back home. The fourth was that the time here was the same as the time back home.

Suddenly, the sound of wings flapping echoed throughout the area and reached his ears. It was coming from behind the next corner. Without a care in the world, he rushed towards that place. After turning around the corner, he saw massive 5 meters tall monsters surveying the area for any signs of life.

[Undead Wyvern Commander]

[Level: 50]

[HP: 5000]

[Special Powers: Undead Fire, Expandable tails, Wind Tempest, Lightning Bolt, Undead Poison!]

[Weakness: Life Orb]

[Remarks: An undead of the finest quality!]

The undead wyverns had long grey wings, which were 4 meters wide and 2 meters long. They also had three horns on its head, and they had grey, lifeless eyes and a thick tail with a pointy triangular end glistening in undead poison.

The undead wyverns did not take well to the sight of a human being, and they roared.

One of them even whipped its poisonous tail at him.

To their surprise, Elliot grabbed its tail with his bare hands that had also turned grey and more solid than iron.

The wyverns were unable to believe their eyes. An average human would become a zombie and a slave to them the moment they come in contact with their undead poison. But nothing was happening to Elliot! Why? They only had that thought in their minds.

"Come here," Elliot pulled the wyvern who attacked him with its tail towards him, and the moment it got closed to him, he punched its hideous face. Its face exploded, and the rest of its body turned to dust.

It was at this moment that Elliot realized that their life orb was in their head region!

The undead wyverns felt angry. None of them made a move through. They were all checking him out and determining how dangerous was he.

"I've never massacred a den of undead wyverns, but today I will." Elliot's eyes narrowed provocatively, and he gave them all a middle finger.

Just as he had expected, they responded viciously to his insult. Some spat a ferocious black fireball straight at Elliot's face. While the rest pointed their horns at him, and a lightning bolt charged towards him. Just as it looked like Elliot would get himself scorched to death and blasted to smithereens, an intense pressure enveloped everything in this area. The fireballs and the lightning bolts shattered into nine pieces and dispersed.

[You've used Energy Radiation (Intermediate-level)]

[-10000 units of spiritual energy]

[I advise the champion to use his energies sparsely in this world as it lacks spiritual energy, mana, and magic power!]

Elliot immediately stopped using energy radiation.

Meanwhile, the remaining Wyvern scattered away from him. They were scared off by Elliot because his attack had caused their attacks to vanish so suddenly that it caused a commotion in their ranks, making them feel nervous and terrified. To them, it felt like they had never spat out their undead fire and discharged their lightning bolts. And as they couldn't make sense of this situation, they decided to report it to their masters, the unholy elves!

"Death comes uninvited and out of nowhere, so how can I let you guys report my presence to your masters?!" Elliot laughed and charged towards them.

Before the ones, who were the furthest away from him, could make their escape, Elliot came flying through the air and stomped his foot on the head of one of them. The force behind his simple stomp was so great that the entire life orb and half of the wyvern's body exploded. Blackish blood splashed on the head, eyes, and chest of nearby monsters.

The blood caused their vision to turn black, and before they could take the sticky blood off of them, Elliot made his second move. A sword appeared in his right hand, and a saber appeared in his left. The Sword Lord gave the Moonlight Sword to him, and the saber lord gave him the Demonic Saber.

Grabbing their handle, he swirled around, and the blades of his two weapons chopped the bodies of the wyverns around him, including their life orbs, into two.

The moment he destroyed the life orbs of the monsters, their bodies turned into black liquid and gray ashes.

There were still thirty or so undead wyverns alive in this place. All of them were looking at the ferocious human who had hunted down the leader, and vice leaders of their squad with eyes widened like saucers. It seemed as if they were not looking at a human, but their worst nightmare, a devil!

Elliot, whose hair was soaked in the black blood of the wyverns, tilted his head and glared at them. "The rest of you are next."

He said that with a murderous smile on his face. The undead wyverns flapped their wings and scattered to the left and the right, hoping to get to the passageway nearest them and escape the devil knowns as Elliot.

"Splitting up and making a run for it is a good choice only when you're not facing a man who is an expert in shooting down scattered armies."

Elliot poured five units of energy into both of his weapons.

The sword released a dazzling moonlight, and the saber glistened in an equally majestic crimson hue that was chaotic enough to shun the glorious sun.

"Die!" fre𝙚𝓌𝒆𝚋noѵel.c𝚘m

Hundreds of crescent sharpness burst out of the moonlight sword and shot towards the wyverns. Each of them was so sharp that they cut through their fleshly but solid-like steel bodies and life cores as quickly as a hot knife passing through tofu.

The name of this attack was The Magnificent Starry Sky.

Right after, hundreds of red threads expanded out of the demonic sword, and they charged towards the remaining undead wyverns. They only saw a ray of red light flashing in their vision before their bodies got separated into a thousand pieces.

The name of this move was far glorious than the previous one. And it also had a poem on its name.

Ten Thousand Miles!

Clad in crimson armor, a man walks under the darkest of skies.

Every three steps, armies of valiant men fall to the ground.

Stepping on rivers of blood and endless corpses, he walks towards a better paradise, ten thousand miles away.

[You've killed all the undead wyverns in area 15.]

The notification made him realize that he was far from done.. He had only won a single battle, not the war.
