Chapter 58: A Little Drama

Nan Hua couldn’t really refute Long Qian Xing. After all, her image on the surface was indeed someone who needed more practice and Long Qian Xing’s training room was much better than the free training room below.

She averted her eyes and focused her attention to the practice.

Long Qian Xing saw Nan Hua focused on practicing again and no longer bothering her. Internally, he was thinking why exactly did he follow his grandfather’s request this time.

It felt a bit troublesome.

But seeing Nan Hua improving, there was also a feeling of achievement.

He felt that he was really naïve.

...

The next few days, Nan Hua knew why Long Qian Xing told her to come in by herself. It was because Long Qian Xing was making up the exams he couldn’t finish in the last semester and had no time to enter the Virtual World.

The trio were busy training with Long Shi Yu often having fun. Long Shi Yu had already completed the exams, but he liked participating in various competitions more than going to the frontline and fought with his life on the line.

Saturday’s schedule was relatively empty because they only had to participate in the morning training. After lunch, they were technically free and Nan Hua chose to return to the dormitory to enter the Virtual World.

Unfortunately, there was someone who was waiting for her. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

"You’re here?" Yu Sui’s eyes were red.

She spent the last few days in the medical cabin and when she returned, she nearly vomited when she saw the stack of written homework that she had to do.

The teachers and instructors didn’t care about their fights and attendances as long as they were done in the arena and reported. So even if Yu Sui spent more than half a semester in the cabin, as long as she could catch up with the lessons, the teachers and instructors would turn blind eye to it.

After all, these teachers only wanted result and didn’t care about the process.

"Are you alright?" Nan Hua asked, her tone was light and indifferent. However, her posture made it look like she didn’t even dare to look at Yu Sui.

Naturally, this was done by Nan Hua purposely to avoid Yu Sui from targeting her continuously. Who would want to spend the next few months with a lot of dramas and little tidbits that was unnecessary?

She just wanted to adapt to this identity and become as inconspicuous as possible while maintain the degree that was suitable for her identity.

"I’m fine, of course not!" Yu Sui snorted. "Do you have time?"

"I have appointment in Virtual World," Nan Hua replied softly.

Yu Sui frowned, feeling annoyed. But thinking that the previous Nan Hua also spent her entire day in practicing, she felt bored.

"In the next examination, you better do well."

Nan Hua looked at Yu Sui and walked to the cabin to enter the Virtual World.

Knock! Knock!

Su Xin Rou opened the door and smiled when she saw Yu Sui had come back. "Sui’er, you’re here. I copied notes for you."

Yu Sui looked at Su Xin Rou and inexplicably remembered the bitter few days spent in the recovery cabin. Even though Su Xin Rou meant well, but Yu Sui felt resentment when she thought of her unlucky feet.

She snorted. "Why are you here?"

"Ah? Sui’er?" Su Xin Rou looked at Yu Sui with bewilderment. Her expression showed that she looked a bit lost, not understanding why her good friend would suddenly act so rudely.

"Aren’t you..."

Yu Sui’s temper had never been good. Her family background was quite good even if it couldn’t be compared to Nan Hua, so she simply scolded Su Xin Rou.

The scene was messy.

And Nan Hua didn’t care about it and simply entered the cabin to enter the Virtual World.

...

<Virtual World>

Nan Hua headed to the training room as usual and entered the training room only to see Long Shi Yu was alone there.

"Oh, Young Miss Nan, you’re here." Long Shi Yu waved his hand when he saw Nan Hua.

Nan Hua nodded politely. "Are the others not here yet?"

"Qian Xing is quarreling with his instructor again. It’s estimated that the two of them will fight and enter the hospital later, so don’t bother with him." Long Shi Yu shrugged. He had long gotten used to his cousin’s temperament. "Tian Lou is cleaning up the mess Qian Xing made and Tou Lu Pian had a make up class in the afternoon."

Nan Hua nodded.

"Since you’re already here, how about if we have spar together?" Long Shi Yu smiled. "Oh right, I forget to tell you, my strength is C rank based on the adult’s rank, so you might want to be careful."

Nan Hua’s eyes flickered.

There were two types of strength measurement. The first one was for children in High School or below and the other one was for adults. The main reason for this differentiation was to encourage the children to work hard and improve themselves.

The differences lie in the first few ranks after F. It was lowered for these children, making it easier for them to advance in rank.

Only when they were adults would they know that it was actually much harder for them to advance in ranks.

to 1 is F-, while 1 to 1.5 is F ranked. Normal people were all F rank because their strength would be 1. 1.6 to 2 would be E, 2.1 to 2.5 would be D, 2.6 to 3 would be C, 3.1 to 4 would be B, 4.1 to 5 would be A, and 5.1 to 6 would be S.

Between F to C, it would only increase by 0.5 points, which was their way of encouragement.

But in the real ranking for adults, 0 to 1 is F-, 1.1 to 2 would be F, 2.1 to 3 would be E, 3.1 to 4 would be D, 4.1 to 5 would be C, 5.1 to 6 would be B, 6.1 to 7 would be A, and 7.1 to 8 would be S.

Since Long Shi Yu said that he was C rank based on the adult rank, it was equivalent to the A rank for the children rank.
