Long Qian Xing and the others were one of the few people who were responsible to take care of the aftermath of the incident. Right now, they had only finished watching Yan Jin Nian interrogating these people.

Well, tried at the very least.

"They’re cautious," Long Qian Xing said.

Yan Jin Nian walked inside and nodded at Long Qian Xing. "They’re trained not to tell anything about the organization. Most of them didn’t fear death, but I guess we got lucky this time."

They all looked at the only surviving member from this incident inside. The others either got killed in action or they killed themselves either through activating the chip in their head or through poison they had prepared.

Not everyone wanted to experience the pain of having their brain destroyed by the chip.

"Shall we just start scanning everyone who might have the chip in their head? It’s the trademark of that organization, right?" One of the soldier there was tired with the long progress they had so far. Wouldn’t it be much faster for them to just scan everyone.

"Too much resources would have to be used and the accurate scanner cost a lot," Long Qian Xing replied. "Without any specific target to try using it, no one would want to use the scanner."

"Well, then pick a few who were suspicious?"

"At what basis would you pull them into the scanner room?" Yan Jin Nian shook her head. "Just because I feel they’re suspicious? The human association something will be having a field day for catching mistake in the protocol."

The soldier was silent.

Long Qian Xing shook his head. To be honest, it would have been much easier for them if they could do many things. But the protocol was both restriction and protection. So that the people who didn’t do wrong would not be treated wrongfully.

"No one can come out of this building." Long Qian Xing’s eyes were cold.

The sudden cough startled them as everyone turned to the person who was in the interrogation room.

The man looked at the blood in his hand as despair filled his eyes. He knew very well that there was no escape from the organization and whatever hope that was presented to them would always be accompanied by despair.

He wanted to try.

Because he finally found his family members whom he could never see in his entire life before.

But it was too late.

He turned to look at the two way mirror at the side. Even if he couldn’t see what the interrogators’ face looked like or anything that happened there, he still showed a bitter smile and said, "Sorry, please protect them..."

The man fell to the ground and the medical team quickly rushed inside to check on him. However, a quick check on his vital and condition quickly revealed that everything was already too late.

He was dead.

Long Qian Xing instructed the men to clean up the place. His cousin, Long Shi Yu, walked in, looked at him and asked, "Are you not angry?"

"Angry?" Long Qian Xing asked back. He lowered his eyes, looking at the bloodstain on the ground. "For many of them, perhaps death is a relief."
