Astral Flower-Chapter 146: Analysis

Sora’s Corner: Bacterial markings
Well, this thing can indeed be used, but it was not very common because similar bacterial would grow up in certain environment. In order to solve a crime, they could test the micro bacterial signature that was recovered from a certain environment. Because every person’s activities are different, their markings are usually also different.
This can be used as trace evidence in forensic investigation.
Though, if I’m not wrong, there’s a time limit for this since as time passed, the micro bacterial will continue to develop and the accuracy could drop.

Sora’s Corner 2: Fingerprint, DNA, and database
I don’t know the specific situation in most countries and only based these on the information I can obtain from movies and news.... The DNA checks are usually taking a few hours and would not be so easy to do. For this story, since it takes place in the ’future,’ I hastened the process by a few hours. :p
The database did exist, but don’t ask me about the details. I’m not part of any country’s security system and didn’t know the specific groups of other people would have their information included aside from people with criminal records.
When you made your ID card, you did record your fingerprints (For every country I presume since I only know for sure about my country), but I don’t know if there’s a database in the government that recorded it.
