Liang’s expression remained inscrutable. He reached out a hand, palm facing up, and a miniature portal materialized above it.

With no hesitation, Liang stepped forward and vanished into the portal, disappearing into the vastness of the void. The portal swirled momentarily before fading away, leaving no trace of its existence.

Moments later, Liang reappeared on the fringes of the Heaven Fortune Domain, his presence as hidden and elusive as ever. His gaze swept across the Heaven Fortune domain.

His universe sense spread out like an invisible net, ensnaring every nook and cranny of the void around the domain. Within seconds, he had a comprehensive understanding of the current situation.

"Interesting," Liang mused, a faint smile playing on his lips. "The chessboard is set, and the players are taking their positions, many powerful experts have already entered the Heaven Fortune Domain."

His attention lingered on a particular spot within the domain, where Heavenly Yin Cliff is located.

"There’s something peculiar about this location," he pondered aloud, his brow furrowing in concentration. "I know its exits, yet I cannot sense them. It’s as if this place harbors a black spot—a void that defies my perception." His eyes narrowed slightly, uncertainty creeping into his thoughts. "Should I investigate further?"

As the thought lingered, he instinctively shook his head, a sense of foreboding flooding his mind.

"Since I can’t perceive it," he reasoned internally, "it must exist on a higher plane than the eighth order." Liang’s heart raced; despite his current status as a Seventh Order Expert, his Universe sense had matured beyond this level. He estimated it to rival the late stages of the Void Return Realm, yet this place remained impenetrable.

What lay within this inky void? Ancient expert? Powerful entities? He could not say. But one thing was clear: the deeper the secret, the greater the risk. Only the bravest—or the most foolish—would dare seek such a place, it’s good that he’s not one of them.

"I can afford to play my cards carefully now," he mused, a chuckle escaping his lips. "With the Dong Clan backing me, I can bid on just about anything without a second thought. I wouldn’t need to worry about The Starry Sky Alliance anymore"

What he didn’t realize was that the Primordial Runic Ancestor had secretly altered his life signature.

The life signature is the only means by which other experts could recognize him, as he possessed the ability to conceal his presence and fate lines. Yet, this thought never crossed Liang’s mind; he believed that a life signature was immutable, a mystery studied only by a select few.

If he had known that his life signature had been tampered with, he would have been utterly incredulous.

In the depths of the Heavenly Yin Cliff.

"Ignorant junior," Shin Xuan scoffed as his piercing gaze suddenly cut through the ethereal haze, settling on Liang with an unexpected intensity.

In that instant, a flicker of surprise ignited in Shin Xuan’s eyes, revealing an unexpected stir within his stoic demeanor.

"Follow Daoist, there’s no need for you to concern yourself with a mere junior," Primordial Runic interjected as he leisurely sipped from a delicate porcelain cup.

Shin Xuan’s expression shifted, "So, you’re already aware of him?"

Primordial Runic shook his head lightly. "I have merely crossed paths with him, I was as surprised as you are now."

Shin Xuan’s expression relaxed slightly, "What do you think he is plotting?"

"I can’t say for sure; he’s always been like that, unpredictable even. Who knows what schemes brew in his mind?" Primordial Runic chuckled softly, a hint of intrigue dancing in his voice. "What intrigues me more is how he managed to survive."

"It must be due to the Universe Mirror, right?" Shin Xuan pondered aloud.

Primordial Runic nodded thoughtfully. "That would make sense, yet... how did he achieve it? They are already aware of our Primordial Emergence Artifacts."

"Indeed, they’ve clearly laid out plans for each one. It feels like a lost battle," Shin Xuan sighed heavily.

"The moment you step beyond this domain, they will sense your presence," a gloomy shadow crossing his face.

"True enough," Primordial Runic conceded, a wry smile creeping onto his lips. "Our only recourse, aside from the Domain Crossing Passage left by that individual, is to bide our time."

After some thought he added." I suspect fellow Daoist is also waiting for the Immortal God Realm ."

Shin Xuan maintained his composure, a knowing smile gracing his lips. "That’s hardly a secret; I trust fellow Daoist is well aware of it too."

"Indeed. That would be the perfect opportunity," Primordial Runic replied, his tone becoming serious. He studied Shin Xuan closely. "You must have an inside man, correct?"

Shin Xuan laughed lightly, a glimmer of mischief in his eye. "I am sure fellow Daoist has his own, and I would wager your preparations are far surpassing mine."

Primordial Runic chuckled softly in response.

"Young Miss, the alliance leader has an urgent message for you."

Mi Ling’s eyes narrowed thoughtfully as she regarded Elder Shi, the old man wrapped in a flowing grey robe. "Elder Shi, there’s no need for such formalities. Just tell me what he wants."

Elder Shi nodded, his brow furrowing with a weighty seriousness. "He is aware of your activities over the past few decades, and he orders you to cease them immediately."

"Orders me?" A playful smirk danced on Mi Ling’s lips, the corners of her mouth curving up in amusement.

Elder Shi’s expression hardened, the lines etched into his face deepening. "Indeed, he is informing you that he knows you have been wandering the domain in search of powerful individuals with strong fate auras, intent on devouring their destinies."

Mi Ling’s reaction was one of nonchalance, her composure unshaken. "Did he give you any reason as to why I should stop?"

Elder Shi’s gaze remained steady. "There are many hidden undercurrents at play now. The news about the Heavenly Will Palace has been exposed. The alliance cannot afford any further disturbances."

Mi Ling shook her head with a slight laugh. "Disturbances? Is that truly how he perceives my actions?"

Elder Shi met her gaze and nodded gravely.

"What a shortsighted perspective!" Mi Ling’s voice dripped with scorn. "Eliminating those I target only strengthens our position. With their demise, no one will be able to stand against us."

Elder Shi’s tone turned more serious. "The alliance leader has warned me that should you object to his command, he is prepared to expel you from the alliance." As the final words left his lips, he felt a dry knot form in his throat.

"Is that all?" Mi Ling’s reply was surprisingly calm, She seemed almost indifferent.
