“President Stewart, are you alright?”
Sunny Tolkien exclaimed, startled.
Lionel Yeager quickly stepped forward to support Julia Stewart.
Julia Stewart steadied herself against the desk, took a deep breath and said, “Sunny, no need for individual reportings, just tell me outright how many companies have ended their partnerships with us.”
Sunny gritted her teeth and answered truthfully, “President Stewart, to date, eighteen companies have terminated their partnership with us, and the number is still climbing.”
“How did this happen?”
Julia massaged her temples, speaking up, “Why did all these companies suddenly choose to sever their partnerships with us, when there were no signs of it yesterday?”
Sunny explained, “From what I have heard, Prosperity Pharmaceutical exerted intense pressure.
If any companies continue to work with East Beauty Pharmaceuticals, Prosperity Pharmaceutical would dissolve their partnership.”

Lionel put his phone away and said, “President Stewart, I need to step out for a bit.”
“Is there something going on?”
Julia asked.
Lionel answered, “Your aunt mentioned that her chest pain has resurfaced, and she would like me to come over and treat her.”
Julia hurriedly replies, “Then you should hurry over, please do your best to cure my aunt’s myocarditis.”

Lionel responded with an easy smile and left the office.
Once Lionel had departed, Julia instructed Sunny, “Sunny, hurry and rally the public relations team to reach out to all the companies, and try to salvage our partnerships.”

Once Sunny had left and the office door had closed, Julia picked up her phone and placed a call.

“President Stewart, what can I do for you?”
A female voice came across the line.
Julia said, “President Spence, do you have some free time today?
I’d like to have a chat with you.”
“Let’s do this.
I’m free this afternoon, let’s meet and talk.”

Julia agreed, then hung up the phone.
She turned her gaze towards the window and murmured, “Prosperity Pharmaceutical, East Beauty Pharmaceuticals won’t go down so easily…”
