"You are going to a city, Master Xie? May I know which city?" Lin Yuyao asked.

"Qingluan City." His answer was succinct.

"Wei Rong, your speed is still as bad as ever. Are you sure you are really a leopard and not secretly a turtle?" Zhou Yunhan’s gloating voice came from the door.

"You, Blackie! I am just a split second slower than you, what are you being proud about? Our speed is literally similar!" Wei Rong’s annoyed voice followed after.

Lin Yuyao cleared her throat, deliberately making it sound loud to make them realize where they were. If not, the two might forget about their surroundings and fight again.

Zhou Yunhan and Wei Rong snapped their heads toward them. When they saw Xie Ziyuan’s figure and his cold face, they subconsciously straightened themselves.

They greeted him before the two glanced at each other warily.

"Master Xie, are you going to Qingluan City? Can I follow you?"

Unexpectedly, the two said the exact same lines at the same time.

He was usually a lone wolf and just did everything alone. Only after that ghostly woman wanted him to build this base did he start to tolerate other beastmen’s presence a little bit.

Wei Rong and Zhou Yunhan glanced at each other with suspicion, waiting to see the other speak first. For a moment, no one spoke.
