"He is a fallen beast, are you going to let everyone get hurt because of your selfishness, Zhao Chunmei?" Ma Yongcheng’s voice rose in anger. "Step aside!"

"No, no..." Zhao Chunmei sobbed, not caring about her current disheveled appearance as she spread her hands to block them from approaching.

Soon, the beastmen dispatched to capture the fallen beast arrived. They burst into the room, eyes trained on the figure behind Zhao Chunmei.

The wolf beastman was alternating between a human and beast, one moment his body would be covered in fur and in another second, the fur was gone.

However, such a state was truly strange. A few beastmen had witnessed him completely turning into a wolf with red eyes, howling and roaring without a shred of humanity. He even injured other beastmen in the process.

The beastmen tied her with a rope, suspecting her to be in cahoots with her husband after they heard her words.

Other beastmen dealt with fierce beast zombies while the majority chased after the wolf beastmen. There were a few who chased after him the fastest, a faint worry flashing in their eyes.

The wolf beastman couldn’t keep up with so many people chasing after him at once; even if he had taken a pill to enhance his current strength, soon, they caught up with him.

"Xiong Ye, what are you doing?!" Ma Yongcheng jumped, stopping the bear beastman—his mortal enemy—from striking the wolf beastman dead.

Clearly, the bear beastman was determined. He pulled his hand from Ma Yongcheng’s grasp. Caught off guard, he nearly succeeded if not for Xie Ziyuan snatching the person away.

The wolf beastman bit his lip until it bled. His eyes turned terrifyingly red, and Xie Ziyuan narrowed his eyes at the phenomena.

"It’s him! He told me to do this. If I refuse, he will not take me to find a better settlement!" The wolf beastman roared, pointing at a figure most beastmen were familiar with.
