Du Yufei desperately tried to flap his wings, trying to get away from the gaping mouth which kept following him no matter where the direction he was flying at.

Suddenly, the crocodile’s gaping mouth closed down at a fast speed, making his heart race.

"Master Xie!" Du Yufei almost screamed joyfully when he saw who was holding the crocodile’s mouth open.

Xie Ziyuan glanced at the little bird indifferently before he pulled apart the crocodile’s mouth further. The crocodile was parted into two.

Actually, most of the crocodiles which had gotten out of the water were targeting the dead elephant. There was one that Fang Meilin and others had successfully killed.

The scent of blood wafted to the crocodiles’ direction, attracting their attention.

The moment they saw the crocodiles had jumped from the water and joined the fight on the land, everyone was full of despair. However, their fighting spirit was reignited once they heard Du Yufei’s shout and saw the familiar silver figure.

Their morale was boosted after Xie Ziyuan fought alongside them. Their combat effectiveness visibly improved.

"Feng Meilin," he suddenly called out.

Fang Meilin, who was entangled with a huge elephant with Zhou Yunhan, stopped her tail. She turned to Xie Ziyuan and obediently slithered toward him.

"Master Xie, please say your order!" She solemnly said, knowing he wouldn’t call her without any reason at all.

In a language unknown to other beastmen, snake tongue, she widened her eyes when she heard Xie Ziyuan’s words. Her mood became a little complicated, but she still followed his words.

"I will do it," Fang Meilin nodded as she slithered toward the water source.

Meanwhile, Zhou Yunhan was a little taken aback by the sudden death of the fierce beast in front of him.

"Good job, Brother Zhou. I don’t know you are this powerful!" Ma Yongcheng praised him. Before he could collect the elephant’s corpse, Zhou Yunhan stopped him.

Ma Yongcheng excused himself, following Fang Meilin as she pointed at certain fierce beasts they shouldn’t touch. Most of them were crocodiles. She didn’t even allow them to touch any fierce beasts from the water source.

"Master Xie, we can move the water into the ring." Leng Chuan nodded upon hearing the instruction. He motioned to his younger siblings. "My younger siblings also have good control over water."

They were planning to stuff the water into the space ring and bring them to fill in the moat.

"The water is poisonous, can you and your siblings control them to enter the space ring without a single splash? Put it in your mind that you will die if you touch it," Xie Ziyuan warned.

The siblings looked at each other and ultimately still agreed. As such, for the next few days, they were working on filling the moat with the swamp water.
