Apocalypse: Transmigrated General's Daughter Uses Space to Survive-Chapter 153: Two Level Three Zombies
Chapter 153: Chapter 153: Two Level Three Zombies
This made Chu Miao wonder just how fast the apocalypse was progressing. It had been less than two months and the evolution of zombies and mutant beasts was too fast.
The last time they fought a level-two zombie, she had thought it was outrageous enough. But inside this building were two level three zombies.
Two of them!!!
How they managed to remain together peacefully was a mystery. After all, it is said that two tigers cannot remain in one mountain.
She also realized that they were not unable to leave this building because a side door was open. Moreover, there were no other zombies in this entire factory.
Obviously, they had been eaten by these two for them to grow so strong.
’What was making the zombies evolve at such a fast pace?’ She wondered as she reached out to open the door.
The zombies inside had already been restless for a while. Ever since she stood before that door, they had already smelled the delicious meal right before them and wanted to devour her. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
She was a strong superpower user with a powerful core. If one of them ate the core of such a powerful human being, they would advance to become king.
However, they couldn’t share a single core. So, the reason they hadn’t moved at all was because they were guarding against each other.
This was a terrifying phenomenon because for zombies to already have such cognitive ability, it shows that soon, they would start to think systematically like normal humans.
Even if they couldn’t turn back into human beings, thinking like them will put humans into a disadvantage as they won’t be able to guard against them.
Thinking of this, Chu Miao felt her heart become heavy. What kind of an apocalypse is this? In those apocalypse novels she had read, zombies evolved slowly with each disaster.
But when it came to it happening in reality, they evolved so fast that humans couldn’t catch a breath. She wondered how far they would grow in just the next ten years.
Without wasting any more time, she entered the building, which was actually a thousand square meters warehouse and immediately attacked even before she finished taking a step inside.
These zombies were fast. So fast that she had to instinctively teleport to avoid them. She realized that even though she was stronger in superpower level, it seemed that zombies are similar to demon beasts.
A demon beast of the same level as a human cultivator could tear them to shreds in minutes. That was why in the cultivation world, humans only fight demon beasts if their own level or higher when out of options.
Such a fight to the death could present an opportunity for a breakthrough or result in death.
These two zombies didn’t really pose a threat to her, but if someone else had come, they would have left their little lives here.
The zombies were stunned for a moment when their prey disappeared before them, but they don’t use eye sight to see targets. They use their senses of smell and hearing and with their advanced superpowers, they could immediately determine Chu Miao’s location.
Turning to face where she was standing, one zombie launched a fireball at her and Chu Miao was almost scared to death. Not because she was afraid the fire ball would burn her, as she was stronger and even though the zombies were powerful, they couldn’t hurt her, but because they were in a warehouse full of gasoline.
This was all wealth during the apocalypse. Something that once lost can’t be gained again. She was also afraid that if the fire caught in this building, the gasoline drums would probably explode creating a chain of explosions in the other buildings.
She couldn’t risk losing all that fuel. So, she responded instantly and threw out a larger ball of water to counter the fire ball.
Guiding it with her spiritual power, she wrapped that fireball in it and it was extinguished in a second.
Before she could breathe a sigh of relief, another fire ball larger than the last one followed and the other zombie came running towards her at high speed and punched out.
This time she couldn’t teleport because if she dodged the fire ball, the gasoline behind her would light up.
She regretted having teleported to the other side of the warehouse where the gasoline was instead of teleporting outside. What a blunder.
However, right now she had no time to regret her decision and had to fight.
She conjured another water ball and directed it to wrap around the fire ball with her left hand while her right hand met with the punch thrown by the second zombie.
When their clenched fists met, Chu Miao realized that this was a strength-type superpower zombie.
She was lucky that her body had gone through tempering during the inheritance acceptance in the cave and practically became an iron woman with iron bones.
Otherwise, that punch would have reduced the bones in her right hand to pieces.
These zombies were incredibly powerful. If allowed to grow any stronger, they would cause such havoc among the surviving humans that life would be impossible.
She could already see a zombie king appearing somewhere in the world at this rate.
She realized that the gasoline behind her was restricting her actions and the moment she met the second punch that the zombie followed with, she used her divine sense to store all the gasoline drums into her soul space ring.
She just didn’t have the time to carefully guide them into the warehouse and simply left them in the open grass area outside the courtyard.
Now that she didn’t have to worry about a fire breaking out and destroying the resources she came for, she was no longer restrained.
She went on to attack the zombies who soon joined hands to fight her with all their might. Both sides moved agilely but Chu Miao managed to land punches every time.
She could have ended the battle instantly by using her light element. Zombies seemed like a kind of evil that would be cleansed immediately when they come into contact with her light element.
