Chapter 13: Butcher Gang

"You didn’t lock the door!?" Alisha hissed.

"You expect me to remember about the door when you were naked before me?"

"Is that a compliment?"

Aiden rolled his eyes before shoving her head right back into the water.

"Alisha, stay down," Aiden said, pushing her head back in the water. "Mommy isn’t here, sweetie. Do you need something?"

"Big bro!" Lily exclaimed while holding her teddy. "Why are you bathing with candles?"

Aiden chuckled in relief. If Alisha had used the normal light, Lily would have noticed her long ago. Thanks to the shadows cast by the candles, the little one wouldn’t notice her mother in the tub unless she got too close.

I can hide her head, but there is no hiding her fat ass.

Just seeing the two floating orbs made him want to spank her silly. Thanks to Lily, those urges remained in check.

"Candles look beautiful, sweety, and I enjoy the company of beauty."

As soon as he said that, he felt Alisha kiss his inner thighs, startling Aiden. He glared at her, only for her to wink back.

Woman, she’s your daughter, not mine. Do you have no shame?

"Oh, I’m beautiful too!" Lily exclaimed, twirling around to show her beauty. "I can keep you company."

"Uh... sweety, you shouldn’t decide such things yourself," Aiden smiled nervously. "Why don’t you go ask your mother first?"

Lily pouted upon hearing Aiden’s rejection, but then tilted her head as if thinking long and hard about something.

"Mommy is beautiful too, we can both keep you company!"

Lily was oblivious to the lethality of her cute voice, coupled with those words. Just those few words were enough to shudder the occupants of the bathtub.

"S-Sure, you can ask your mom about it," Aiden replied. "Now, can you leave, sweety? Big brother has to dry off."

"Okay!"

With that, she finally trotted away to look for her mother.

"Ah!" Alisha gasped, finally breathing again. "...that was hot."

Aiden’s eyes widened as he stared at her.

Woman, have you gone bonkers?

"I didn’t think I’d be into being choked..." she said, ignoring Aiden’s stunned expression. "Maybe next time you can choke me—"

"Lily is looking for you," Aiden cut her off, but to Alisha, it seemed his shyness was acting up.

Still, she climbed out of the tub, but not before giving his little soldier another kiss.

"Enjoy the bath," she said, leaning over to grab the discarded towel while giving him a full view of her lower lips.

"This woman..." Aiden mumbled, staring at his erect cock. "One day I’ll make you regret teasing me so much."

Two hours ago, near the survivor camp...

"Next."

After waiting in line for more than an hour, it was finally James’s turn to enter the camp. However, he didn’t notice that the guards weren’t interested in him, but in the heavy backpack he was carrying.

"Name?"

"J-James Irwin."

The guard checked the list in his hands before turning back to him.

"New here?"

James nodded.

Finally, the guard took a good look at him. James wasn’t much different from the people who were admitted before him. Weak, gaunt, and unwashed clothes.

He was similar to others, yet different because of his bulging backpack. A strange idea took root in the guards’ minds.

"Open your bag for inspection."

"S-Sure."

James didn’t think much of it. After all, he had seen everyone before him go through the same procedure. However, even he couldn’t miss the glint in their eyes when they saw the bag filled with rations, water, and medkits to the brim.

"Military rations!? How do you have so much of these?" the guard yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Wh-why are you yelling?" James stammered.

Why indeed?

If only James had turned around, he would have known why. Everyone in front and the back was now staring at James and the bag.

The guards would have no reason to take something from James under the guise of inspection.

However, if the crowd suddenly turned violent upon noticing the rare supplies, the guard would have to step in, and who knows what might happen to the supplies in that time?

The guard wouldn’t go out of their way to capture any person who stole stuff, right? It wasn’t like the thieves would work with the guards of such a prestigious camp.

Just as the first people were about to lunge, they froze in their spot. Even the guards looked taken aback when they saw what James was holding.

"M-My bad. I forgot to put this up for i-inspection," he stammered while holding the bloodied knife.

A mere blade wasn’t enough to stop them, but the blade, coupled with his stammering and strangely fearful expression, made James seem like a serial killer.

Suddenly, no one wanted to get anywhere close to him. Even the guards didn’t want to ask how he got those supplies.

If the guy before them was actually a serial killer, then none of them wanted to cross him, no matter how many supplies he had.

Not to mention that knife. Only one gang in the surrounding area used such a Blade. It was their signature weapon of sorts.

"O-Oh, no need to show the weapons out in the open, sir," it was the guard’s turn to stammer. "But I still need to ask what would be the purpose of your visit?"

"Trading."

"Of course," the guard nodded before hurriedly stamping a piece of paper and handing it to James. "That’s a visitor’s pass. It’s valid for three days. You only need to show the pass while entering or leaving the camp."

"Yes, it is m-more convenient than q-queuing for inspection," James replied, putting both the knife and the pass into his pocket.

"To ensure your safety, we’ll also assign a guard to accompany you to the market."

James didn’t say anything more, just nodded and followed a guard. Only after he walked past the gates did everyone else let out the breath they didn’t even know they were holding.

"Fuck... I told you, it’s always the awkward ones who are most dangerous. What is that Butcher Gang goon doing all the way here?" one guard said to the other.

Another one chimed in, "Good thing you sent someone with him. We need to keep an eye—"

"Have you gone mad? I sent the guard to keep everyone else safe!" the shorter guard shot back. "As long as a guard accompanies him, no one will mess with him inside. I don’t want to give that man any chance to bring out his knife again."
