Chapter 1441: Unscathed again!

Battlefield 5

Inside the black domain, my water drop attacks continued to blast away the bodies of the foreign creatures.

It didn’t matter whether the foreign creature was a silver mark or a gold mark; all of their bodies exploded into pieces.

Puchak!

Dark blood dyed the ground. The battlefield was already like charred smoke, and now the black blood of the foreign creatures made it look even more ominous.

As time passed, the number of foreign creatures was reduced. They weren’t able to get close to their target.

If they did, they suddenly came across a seemingly harmless water drop. But upon contact, the foreign creatures’ bodies burst into pieces like watermelons.

Outside

The warriors were fighting hard against the foreign creatures. At the same time, they were keeping an eye on the black domain.

They didn’t know what was happening to Zack Lockwood and the hundreds of foreign creatures inside.

The warriors from Darkshadow University and Silver University wanted Zack Lockwood dead.

Almost everyone was certain of the fact that Zack Lockwood wouldn’t be able to escape alive.

They were struggling against only one or two foreign creatures, yet Zack Lockwood was inside that sphere facing so many.

No one was optimistic, including the Star University warriors from the medium and small-sized factions.

They felt guilty that they weren’t able to help him.

Inside the Black Domain

Inside the black domain, time passed. I continued to kill one foreign creature after another.

Compared to the consumption of the purple lightning force, the consumption of the bright water force was much lower.

One drop was enough to kill a Gold Mark level foreign creature.

Twenty minutes later, I killed the last foreign creature. I had killed more than a hundred of them. Their mutilated corpses were scattered across the ground.

Buzz!

Just as I was observing the place, the battle alarm sounded. Hearing that, I collected my thoughts. The barrier was still intact. I needed to break the black barrier first.

I circulated the purple lightning force, the shock force, and the bloodline force. A triple-mixed ancient inheritance force spread across my body.

In the blink of an eye, the mixed force gathered in my palm and took the shape of a ball. I turned towards the black sphere and darted toward it. In a flash, I appeared in front of the barrier.

Boom!

I slammed my right fist into the barrier.

Crack!

A deafening noise sounded. The barrier cracked, and in the blink of an eye, it broke into pieces. When the barrier was gone, the scene outside became clear.

I looked at my surroundings. Seeing that there were no other warriors nearby, my eyes flashed with icy coldness. I hadn’t expected no one to help me out.

Since they didn’t help me, I wasn’t going to help them. I rushed toward the platform. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

After passing through the barrier, I reached the platform and stepped inside. A few more warriors needed to arrive for the platform to activate.

...

Hidden Space (Foreign Creature Side):

The tall foreign creature was dumbfounded. It couldn’t believe that the target had escaped unscathed again.

He hadn’t just escaped; he had defeated everyone. Not a single foreign creature had been spared; all of them were dead.

It couldn’t believe how the target was able to break the barrier and walk out so boldly. The foreign creature thought of another possibility: there were treasures that acted as life-saving items.

The foreign creature thought the target might have used one such treasure. Their plan had failed miserably this time.

...

Hidden Space (Human Side):

Supervisor Kenny was dumbfounded. He couldn’t believe his own eyes. He saw Zack Lockwood walking out safely after breaking the barrier.

His gaze then shifted to the battlefield. There was not a single foreign creature left alive. All of them had been killed.

He couldn’t fathom how Zack was able to do it. Obviously, the inheritance force wouldn’t be enough to deal with that many creatures. It had to be some other method.

Then he thought of life-saving artifacts. It was the only answer he could think of. His eyes glinted with understanding.

"It must be that," he thought.

...

Shortly Afterwards

The warriors started returning. Upon seeing Zack Lockwood, they exclaimed in surprise. They couldn’t believe he was able to survive.

They had assumed Zack Lockwood died after seeing the state of the battlefield.

Because there were no foreign creatures left, yet Zack was standing there, it showed that he had killed the rest of them.

The warriors were petrified on the spot. Particularly, the warriors from Darkshadow University and Silver University were scared.

"What are you guys staring at? Get inside," I said in a cold tone.

Hearing that, the warriors nearby came back to their senses and stepped onto the platform.

Swoosh!

The next second, the platform activated. We disappeared from the spot. When I opened my eyes, I saw we were back in the camp. I felt the piercing gazes of everyone.

I ignored them and walked back to tent number 200. But before I could open the door, someone appeared before me.

The person was none other than Supervisor Kenny.

"Tell me, how did you survive?" he asked. "Did you use a life-saving artifact?"

The other warriors began to gather; they wanted to know the truth as well. They were all quite shocked.

They had thought Zack Lockwood would die, but here he was standing in front of them. Not even his clothes were wrinkled. They didn’t know how he had fought.

Feeling the gazes of everyone, I gave the answer I had already prepared.

"I used a life-saving artifact," I replied.

Gasp!

A look of understanding dawned on everyone’s faces. No wonder Zack Lockwood escaped. That explained why his clothes were in such good condition.

Then they dispersed. The planted spies felt a lingering fear as well. If they had tried to kill Zack Lockwood, they might have been counter-killed by the life-saving artifact instead.

Now that he had used the artifact, they didn’t know whether he had another one. But they still had time. Because the foreign creatures would not let this matter go.
