Ancient Tears BloodLine-Chapter 1421: Frustrated Seniors
Virtual Training Lab
I looked at Ronnie Seth. He was finally convinced to attack me. Others were clearing out the desks and the floors.
It didn’t take long for the place to be cleared. We faced each other again.
Ronnie Seth was ready to attack. Old man Daniel and the others retreated.
Boom!
Ronnie Seth circulated the black lightning force through his body. In the blink of an eye, black lightning force appeared in his right hand.
Thunder!
With the appearance of the black lightning force, a crackling, thundering sound erupted. Old man Daniel and the staff moved backward. Everyone felt the pressure from the black lightning.
The staff had seen the power of the black lightning before, but they were witnessing the power of the black lightning force from right here.
Old man Daniel’s eyes flashed with surprise. He, too, felt the pressure from the black lightning force.
"This kid’s black lightning force is powerful," Old man Daniel thought.
He knew Ronnie Seth had accepted an Ancient Inheritance as well. But Zack Lockwood’s lightning power had defeated Ronnie Seth’s black lightning before.
This time, he thought Ronnie Seth’s black lightning power was stronger than before. He waited to see what Zack Lockwood would do.
On the other hand, my gaze fell on the black lightning. I found the power of the black lightning was indeed stronger.
In response, I circulated a small amount of dark purple lightning force. In the blink of an eye, my right palm was covered in dark purple lightning force.
With its appearance, everyone felt dread.
Ronnie Seth was stunned. Looking at the dark purple lightning, which was almost black, he felt invisible pressure gripping his heart. A sense of uneasiness was felt by everyone.
Old man Daniel’s forehead was covered in fine beads of sweat. His gaze locked onto the dark purple lightning covering Zack Lockwood’s right palm.
"It appears the dark purple lightning is even more terrifying than the black lightning," he thought.
He knew that Zack Lockwood had accepted an ancient inheritance as well. Then why was there such a difference?
The staff behind him were even more shocked. Actually, there was no need for the battle. From the appearance of the two types of lightning power, it was confirmed that Zack Lockwood was the winner.
Ronnie Seth hesitated. His will started to waver. He felt a strong sense of crisis. The next second, he withdrew the black lightning and returned to his previous self.
"Phew!" He heaved a sigh of relief.
"Brother, there is no need to fight. You are a lot stronger than before. I need to do a lot to catch up to you," Ronnie Seth admitted, acknowledging Zack Lockwood’s strength.
Hearing that, Old man Daniel and the staff were convinced. They didn’t look down upon Ronnie Seth for not fighting.
On the other hand, I withdrew my dark purple lightning as well. To be honest, I was interested in the black lightning as well.
If not for the purple lightning seed, I doubt my lightning would still be stronger—though it wouldn’t be less than the black lightning. Each had a different attribute.
"Okay, you will soon catch up to me," I said to Ronnie.
Time passed.
We sat down and began chatting. Old man Daniel started sharing interesting news—the events that occurred here during my absence.
...
Meanwhile, something else was going on outside. The news of Zack Lockwood’s return had spread wide.
Now, someone was spreading news that Zack Lockwood was challenging the Silver Mark Warriors from other factions.
The news was widely circulated by the warriors from the Thunderflame Faction, so the warriors from other factions took it seriously.
But they didn’t know Zack Lockwood had neither denied nor accepted it.
The ongoing news made other top factions frustrated because their elite warriors were not here.
They were at the frontline fighting in warrior camps. Those who remained were young or injured.
Most of them here were average warriors. They couldn’t win against a normal genius, let alone confront Zack Lockwood.
So, the other factions thought the Thunderflame Faction people were making use of the opportunity while their prominent warriors were away.
The news was heard by the faction leaders and the main elders as well. They gritted their teeth in anger.
The only faction leaders who were not mad were Faction Leader Clifford and Faction Leader Francesca.
Faction Leader Francesca had already issued a warning to her faction warriors. Many disliked the orders at first, but now when they heard the rumors, they understood their faction leader had foresight.
Their best warriors were not here; they didn’t want to go out and make fools of themselves. Once their best warriors returned, then they could defeat Zack Lockwood.
On the other hand, the Elemental Faction leaders felt a headache. They thought the Thunderflame Faction was retaliating for the earlier troubles they faced because of the "foreign creature side" order.
Till today, no one had forgotten that order. There was a strong lightning warrior from their university who had caused trouble for the foreign creatures.
Many believed that it was Zack Lockwood. But they knew he was a Silver Mark Warrior; at most, he would be invincible within the same rank.
They didn’t think Zack Lockwood could overwhelm Gold Mark Warriors, so the faction leaders didn’t completely believe Zack Lockwood was the masked man.
Time passed.
That night, I left the Virtual Training Lab after having dinner there. It didn’t take me long to arrive at the Thunderflame Faction.
I entered the territory and started walking toward my residence. When I reached it, I saw people standing in front.
Gasp!
An exclamation occurred.
"He is here!"
"Wasn’t he going to challenge the faction warriors?"
I heard the words behind me. I ignored them, went to the gate, and opened it.
Creak!
After getting inside, I closed the gate and went to the door. The warriors behind me continued to watch.
Then I opened the main door and went inside. I closed the door and went to the sofa to lie down.
From beginning to end, I didn’t speak a word to those warriors. I was sure the news about me was circulating online. I hadn’t forgotten the commotion happening during the daytime.
