Chapter 235: Chapter 80: Time to Start Work_3

...

At Tommy’s villa, in the outdoor pool, six or seven beauties were accompanying Jason, Dennis, and Pam having a small party.

Jason’s job at EFF wasn’t overly busy. His main role was to cooperate with SSD alumnus Benjamin Rosen and obediently follow Mr. Rosen’s instructions.

It wouldn’t be fair to say Jason wanted to slack off. It was mainly because Tommy had shamelessly told him that he didn’t need to do anything except follow Benjamin Rosen around, learn everything from him, ask him all kinds of questions, listen to his advice, see how he handled things, and then thoroughly absorb it. Jason had to make sure the old man didn’t feel like he was getting a steal by investing ten million to hold shares in Actor Corporation and then do nothing; he must keep him busy and learn all his business tactics and thinking. Tommy had told Jason not to treat Mr. Rosen as a human, but as a cow, for Jason to furiously milk for all he’s worth.

Indeed, Jason had to admit that being around Benjamin, he learned much more than he ever did at school—for instance, the business school would never teach how, when trying to invest in and hold shares in a small company but the other party is unwilling, to divide the founding members of that small company.

Jason would help create scandals or troubles for the founding member who held the power but opposed the investment, then spread various false news, in summary, forcing that person to keep a low profile as internal discord grew within the company. When the pressure became too much and they began to waver, it would lead to a split, either the management of the company being handed over to the founders who supported the investment, or someone would lead a technical team to take the money and start a new company.

In short, it opened Jason’s eyes and was immensely beneficial.

"He said you guys should stay here and play for a bit longer?" Jason took a sip of juice, and when he heard Dennis, who was enjoying a massage from the beauties, talk about how Tommy generously let them both stay in California for an extended time, he spat out his juice and turned to look at Dennis:

"How is that even possible?"

"Of course, it’s possible, Jason. The friendship between Tommy and us is unquestionable," Dennis replied from his recliner. "Tommy isn’t stingy."

Jason gave Dennis and Pam, who was focused on mixing marker colors after buying all the markers on the market, a look that said, "How can anyone dare believe that fool Tommy":

"He may not be stingy in Warwick, but in California, I guess you guys don’t understand him well enough. If I may speak frankly, while he has invited you to stay longer, has he also asked you to sign your names on some kind of blank paper or hinted that he hopes you could do him ’a little favor’?"

"I don’t recall," said Dennis.

"Tommy said he hoped we could do him a small favor," Pam said, not looking up from her palette of markers.

Jason then nodded in realization, "Friends, I’m really happy to have met you. As Tommy’s former roommate, the most sincere advice I can give both of you is... to get dressed now and head for the airport to buy the quickest flight home."

"You planning to hog all these hotties for yourself? Don’t be like that, Jason," Dennis raised his head to look at Jason. "We’re not jealous just because you’ve slept with Tommy; you’re totally free to keep sleeping with him."

Jason recalled his own experiences, brewed his emotions for a moment, and then spoke somewhat ruefully:

"There’s a sad story about a scumbag who used a beautiful woman to tempt his good friend. While his buddy was emotionally charged because of the woman, that jerk asked him, ’Hey, bro, can you do me a favor?’ And his good friend said, ’Sure, brother, no problem; we’re brothers after all.’"

"Where’s the tragedy in that story?" Dennis frowned. "The good friend couldn’t get it up in front of the beautiful woman?"

Pam offered a different perspective, "No no no, I think he got put into a chastity belt, and it must be quite unbearable to be teased by a beautiful woman while locked up."

"Brother, what the hell did you go through when you were dating Carly... The girls from Saint Vincent play that wild?" Dennis asked, shocked by Pam’s comment.

Seeing both of them so nonchalant, Jason said with some agitation:

"It’s nice to be with beautiful women, but the tragedy is agreeing to something for them, understand? Understand? That’s the point! Can’t you guys summarize the key point of a story? What I mean is, don’t make deals with the devil too easily. That bastard tempted his poor friend with a beautiful woman in order to strike an extremely unbalanced and unfair deal."

"If we got full marks in reading and writing, we wouldn’t be in a position to be Tommy’s roommates now, Jason," Dennis replied.

Jason let out a sigh, "That bastard used the same method on me, understand? That’s why I’m suggesting you leave this place, now! Unless you want to end up as porn actors."

"Actors?" Dennis and Pam sat up upon hearing Jason’s words, their eyes shining with curiosity. "You mean, we could become those porn actors we see on television?"

Pam even flipped his hair and pointed to his strong prescription glasses while pressing Jason for an answer, "Even with severe myopia?"

Jason was bewildered by their reaction and after a long look at the two, he finally said, "Guys, not Hollywood films, get it? It’s the damn kind where you strip off your clothes..."

"That’s exactly what I’m talking about, what did you think? I’m asking you now, which means Tommy could let us * various beautiful women and also make money, right?" Dennis looked back at Jason, equally perplexed, not understanding why Jason was emphasising it wasn’t a Hollywood film, as if nudity-free Hollywood films were interesting to watch.
