Chapter 887: 303, Prince and Princess_2

This matter was settled upon after consultation between Donnie and William Howard Taft.

Cameron will also join Yale University’s Skull and Bones in the future.

Having Cameron meet William Howard Taft now can do no harm!

"Mr. Taft!"

Upon meeting William Howard Taft, Cameron was extremely humble.

William Howard Taft said with a smile, "I’ve already heard about your grades at Columbia, very impressive. I believe you will also be very successful at Yale!"

Cameron said, "I will always remember the help from Mr. Taft!"

William Howard Taft laughed heartily and said to Donnie, "Donnie, this brother of yours is much more polite than you!"

Donnie replied with a smile, "That’s because you haven’t seen his naughty side yet, otherwise you wouldn’t say that!"

"Young people should indeed have some vigor. At Yale, you can’t always just study; you should also engage in some social practice activities. I’ve already arranged a connection for you with the Rotary Club in California. You can do some work there to increase your social experience!" Taft said to Cameron.

Although the Rotary Club is a civilian organization in the United States, founded at the beginning of this century.

However, after over a decade of development, this organization is still very influential in the United States.

Clearly, William Howard Taft intends for Cameron to enter politics through the Rotary Club!

Neither Donnie nor Cameron had any objections to William Howard Taft’s arrangements.

Afterward, William Howard Taft imparted some experience to Cameron. For someone like William Howard Taft, his experience is certainly a great treasure. Not only Cameron but even Donnie learned a lot.

In the following days, Donnie did not go to the Surf Hotel but stayed to accompany Helen.

Although there is no tradition of postpartum confinement in the United States, Donnie still insisted that Helen must rest properly in her own room for a month.

Such arrangement made Helen quite helpless, but under Donnie’s strict order, she had no choice but to accept it!

This situation made Alice very happy, and she would occasionally come to Helen’s room, flaunting her freedom to move around at will.

However, such behavior clearly did not truly agitate Helen.

"Don’t worry, you will have this day soon!"

Alice admitted defeat!

During this period, Robert Taft also came to Atlantic City, and after visiting Helen and Michael, he exchanged updates about his own recent situation with Donnie.

But whether it was William Howard Taft or Robert Taft, they both had their respective work to attend to and could not possibly stay in Atlantic City for too long.

After staying for a week each, they left Atlantic City and returned to their posts.

"My body is much better now; you don’t have to stay at home every day!"

Helen placed a book of essays on her legs, leaned against the headboard, and said to Donnie, who was sitting on the couch.

Donnie said softly with a chuckle, "I haven’t taken a vacation in a long time. Just consider this period a vacation. Besides, even though there’s nothing much going on your side, Alice is due soon, so I’d better stay at home!"

After listening, Helen nodded and said, "Will your plans be affected?"

Donnie explained, "Steve brings back various updates every day, there won’t be any problems!"

And so, a few more days passed, and when the time came to early August, Alice also felt unwell. After the doctor’s diagnosis, she was ready to give birth!

Thanks to Helen’s experience, Alice had a much smoother time, and two hours later.

Donnie’s second child was born in this world, and Alice gave birth to a daughter. Donnie had already picked out names for both a boy and a girl, so naturally, there was no need to worry about the name now.

Lucia Block!

Donnie’s daughter.

In just one month’s time, Donnie had already realized the dream of having both a son and a daughter.

"She’s so ugly!"

Alice cried after seeing Donnie, and to her surprise, she said her own daughter was ugly!

Well, newborn babies do indeed look quite ugly, all wrinkled and scruffy.

Donnie humorously said, "I should record your words and let your daughter listen to them when she grows up, to hear how her mother evaluated her!"

"You dare!"

Alice glared at Donnie angrily.

Donnie sat by Alice’s bedside, tenderly wiping the sweat from her forehead.

"Don’t worry, this is just how newborns look. Have you forgotten how you felt when you first saw Michael? Now look at him, isn’t he very cute?"

Alice thought for a moment, then asked uncertainly, "Really?"

Donnie said with a smile, "Rest assured, our children – do you really worry she won’t be beautiful when she grows up?"

After some thought, Alice immediately displayed a proud expression and nodded, "Exactly, with such a beautiful mother, how could my daughter be anything but beautiful!"

Donnie nodded and reassured her, "That’s right, just relax!"

Suddenly, Alice asked Donnie in a soft voice, "The thing Helen said before, it’s not really true, is it?"

Feigning confusion, Donnie asked, "What thing?"

Alice responded, "About staying in this room for the next month?"
