Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins-Chapter 300-Trapped In The Bathroom
Iris:
Sadly, even when I wanted to, I couldn’t. I gestured with my hand.
"I’m fine. You have something important to do, and I have something important to do as well."
I said only that before leaving to get my children’s toys and everything ready.
When everything was done, I stood in the doorway and watched Kash get into the car with Lara. My children climbed in after him.
They kept turning their heads to look at me. It was proof that they were not happy about it.
I knew my children did not like Lara, and they had no reason to like her. But Kash was with them, and I could not be, because my work was important too.
Once they left, I turned and saw Lady Vivian standing in the doorway. A familiar confusion was visible on her face.
"What is occupying you so much that even when he asks you to spend time with him, you ignore him?" she questioned.
She had already made it clear that she did not trust me and believed I was the one spending time with Markus. Yet here she was, confused.
"I have something important to do," I repeated, walking past her and going inside.
When I entered the living room again, it felt silent. Only Lady Vivian and I were left in the mansion.
Markus was already texting, blowing up my phone, asking me to come out so we could visit the cabin.
I had to hurry before my health declined. I did not want to pass out there.
I quickly grabbed my bag and phone, then walked out of the mansion and joined Markus in his car.
"I’m so sorry for everything. I saw how badly you wanted to go with your children," he began, while I chewed on my nails.
I was so anxious I could not even describe it.
"No, it’s fine," I replied softly.
"After today, I won’t bother you. And of course, everyone will realize where you were spending so much time. I’m sure they will be grateful that you helped me plan such a beautiful evening for Zoe," he replied, reassuring me, and I nodded.
"Did you pick up everything?" I asked and he nodded.
"Even the letter where you tell her you’re ready for the test?" I questioned and he nodded again.
Then we finally arrived at the cabin range. It was quite desolate, yet beautiful.
The waterfall, the wind, the cherry blossoms. It was an incredibly pretty place.
"I’m sure she will love it," Markus commented as we stepped out of the car.
He led me down the track until we reached one of the cabins. He unlocked the door and guided me inside.
The lights turned on the moment we stepped in, and oh my God, it was beautifully set up.
There was a fireplace, and in front of it lay a mattress. On one side, there were bottles of wine and neatly arranged gifts.
A sauna stood at the back of the cabin. It was perfect.
"So, what do you think?" Markus asked, smiling brightly with his usual cheeky grin.
I nodded, taking in the beauty of it. He had truly done a great job.
"Yeah, it’s perfect for her," I replied.
He happily showed me around.
"You know what? Before we leave, how about we have a drink?"
We had spent about an hour arranging everything again, placing the jewelry and the rest of the things we had brought with us. Now that we were ready to leave, he was offering me a drink.
"I’ll just go home. I’ve been missing spending time with Kash. I can’t wait to tell him. I wasn’t avoiding him because I didn’t have time. I was trying to do something special for his sister," I explained.
Markus seemed to understand, but then he shook his head.
"No, you’ve really done a lot for me. I’m not letting you go until we have a drink. Here," he insisted, pouring the wine and handing it to me.
Suddenly, his hand jerked, and the drink spilled over my clothes.
"Oh no."
It was red wine, and I was wearing a white dress.
My entire dress looked as if I had been shot in the chest, blood spreading across the fabric.
"I’m really sorry. I’m so fucking clumsy," he muttered, slapping his forehead.
"Oh no, it’s okay," I tried to reassure him.
I said I was fine, but I was not.
It looked bad.
"Okay, I feel so gross," I commented, glancing toward the bathroom.
"You should go and clean up," he uttered.
I nodded and headed into the bathroom.
"Do one thing. Give me your dress and I’ll clean it up, or I’ll give you another dress to wear for now. I brought some dresses for Zoe," he added as I stood in the doorway.
I nodded again, locked the door, and checked the bathroom before taking off my dress. Then I opened the door slightly and tossed it out.
I waited for him to hand me another dress.
"Here," he said, knocking on the door.
I opened it just enough for him to stretch his arm inside, and I took the clothes from him. Then I quickly locked the door again.
When I looked down, I realized it was not a dress. It was men’s shorts and a shirt.
I knocked again.
"Markus, this is not a dress," I complained, standing naked inside.
"Yeah, I don’t want to open the gifts. I’m not sure which one has the dresses," he replied.
I found that strange. The dresses were in the closet.
Maybe he just did not want to give me one of the expensive dresses. But whose clothes were these?
"Which man’s clothes are these?" I asked.
He did not respond.
"Markus?" I knocked again, more anxiously.
My phone was outside in my purse.
"Markus, are you there?" I called out louder.
Now I was panicking.
Ten minutes had passed, and I had been calling for him. I could not stay in the bathroom forever.
