Almighty Father System-Chapter 428: The Hunt Begins.

Leo looked at the five people standing before him with a calm gaze. He was waiting for them to introduce themselves. The lady who just opened the door for them said, "I am Samara, call sign Pixie, and I am an explosive and espionage specialist but I can handle frontal combat as well."

Leo nodded and then turned to look at the other guy who said, "I am Mike, call sign Demo, I am the sharpshooter and also the vehicle specialist. Get away in this task will be my duty."

Leo nodded and gradually he got to know everyone of them. Then he said, "If you guys have anything to eat around here, please point the way for me. And also, get ready for the mission brief, I don’t want to waste much time with a maniac having a small scale nuke in his hands."

The people nodded and Pixie said, "Boss, the fridge is there."

As Leo made his way to the kitchen the rest of the people followed and then the second lady of the group, Maya, she was responsible for the communications and the computer attacks from the distance. She took out several beers for everyone and placed them on the kitchen counter, while she took out a cube from her pocket and placed it in the center. Leo made himself some sandwiches and placed the dish on the counter before clicking a picture and sending it to Snow so that they know he was eating on time and Lily doesn’t call him while they are discussing the issues they would have to face tomorrow.

Maya looked at Leo and asked, "Sir, shall I begin?"

Leo nodded and the lady tapped the cube. A holographic map appeared in the void and the young lady adjusted her glasses as she said, "This is the place where the target is residing, I have ran some drone checks and we haven’t picked up any radiation signs. However, it is possible for them to store the enriched uranium inside a lead container to contain the radiation or it could be stored in a separate place altogether."

The people nodded and Maya pointed at one of the points on the wall and it turned red, as she said, "From the data that I have received, this is the best place to infiltrate the compound, however, as soon as you go inside, even if I disable the cameras and the rest of the alarms, they have seventy guards. All are groomed as the death soldiers by the Morning Star Tower. So it is a gunfight all the way in. You will need to use the suppressed weapons and act very tactically. Another thing to keep in mind is that they have a five minute roll call. If the people fail to check in, they might move the target to some other locations."

Leo nodded calmly and said, "This makes sense, they are capable of doing that, and I am sure that despite all the data that we have, their are still things that they have managed to keep hidden from us, this would be a tough thing for us to handle. So, we have just one chance."

Just than one of the silent guys in the team said, "I suggest that we give up on long range clearance of the shabby guards. Apart from Demo, all of us go in, fight it through, kill them and come out with the target."

Maya rolled her eyes and said, "What would happen if you got caught off guard by the guards in that castle? Do you know that these people have spend decades practicing their movements and defenses in that same compound. They may seem like they are shabby guards or machines backed by the Morning Star Tower, but here, check out these videos and you would know how strong these guys are."

That said, she began to show them a few videos that were basically the slaughters committed by the death soldiers, even at the cost of their own lives, they have tied bombs to their chests and committed suicide attacks all over the world, big and small. This caused Leo and the rest of the people to frown. Leo said, "I will take the point on this, and you all can follow. Pixie, you will provide long range support. Demo, you will be ready outside with the getaway vehicle and also protect Maya. Pirm, Milo, you two will follow behind me and cover me. Is that good enough?"

The silent guy was called Pirm and the last,member of the team was called Milo. After Leo had finished speaking, Maya nodded, because this was the initial plan that she had come up with. They have already collected the gear. Initially it was a solo mission but then Markus insisted that Alpha use a team for this, so when Leo got down at the airport he found out about the development and didn’t mind this growth. Because if he was to handle such things alone, it would expose him to higher risk and if he as much as took a scratch than the task will fail and he would risk losing his abilities and that was not something he wanted because then his daughter would be sad.

The young man finished eating his sandwiches and said, "We will act tonight itself. The forecast states there would be rain. The best time to hunt the cowardly nocturnes."

The team nodded and after finishing their beers, they all moved quickly to gear up. Their tactical armor and the rest of the gear was also black in color. They had one small gas mask on their helmets in case the enemy attacked them with poison or nerve gas. Leo had a set of black throwing knives stuck to his right thigh and also to his left thigh. His waist had several magazines for his assault rifle and on his chest was a diagonal holster for his handgun.

He had four flash bangs and smoke grenades on his utility belt as well, along with a night vision. He was geared so heavily that Pixie joked, "Boss, looking at you, I am having trouble walk."

Leo smiled and stood up on his feet as he said, "It is not much, well, lets get going."

They quickly came down from the building and boarded a car. The elevator that they used was a separate one, it was only accessible by them. Leo had no idea this existed before now, and Maya was holding a small tab in her hands with her fingers flying across the screen. The young lady looked at the people around and said, "We are now ghosts. The world doesn’t know about us, and they cannot see us eight."

She was the shortest in the team so the tallest, Pirm reached out and patted her head and said, "Good job, Keys."

Maya shrugged his hand of and said, "They should call you bear instead of Pirm."

The team chuckled as they came out of the elevator and boarded the big car. Demo didn’t have any armor on, since he was going to stay outside the premises, the rest of the people were in the back of the nanny van. Maya sat in the passenger seat as they drove out. The location of the target was a couple of hours away from them, and Leo spent that time with his eyes closed as he trained for an hour in the virtual realm.

He was going through the various situations that could unfold as he moved through the premise, and he was learning how to avoid injuries while taking out the enemy. When they reached the place where they were supposed to get off, Leo was all set to slaughter the enemy. As he came out of the back of the nanny van, he dashed ahead at full speed. The people were shocked, Pixie was quick to react and she dashed to the position where she could set up her sniper post and climbed a small hill and hid in the foliage. While Pirm and Milo chased after Leo.

The castle was surrounded by small hills on three sides, this was a easy to defend site in the previous era, this was why the target was living here confidently, and to make things even better he had set up a high voltage electric fence around the mountain but it was raining now, and so, faults were apparent.

Maya worked her magic and the electric fence was out of commission, while Pirm and Milo took out their cutters to open a passage in the fence, Leo had directly jumped over the eight feet tall fence with just one dash. The two were shocked but they have heard from Markus, Leo was not normal when it came to strength, he had divine abilities, and seeing was believing. The hunt had begun and the Lion of Cardinals had taken the first lunge toward his prey.
