Almighty Father System-Chapter 361: Elena Has Cold.

Leo turned over to look at Elena who was laying in the cradle with her face slightly blushed. He quickly finished cleaning up Julian and said, "Beta, inform Snow."

Beta nodded and then send a message notification directly to Snow on her smart watch. Then Leo settled the drowsy child in the cradle before pulling a curtain between the two cradles. Then he took a deep breath and replied, "Keep the air purifier on, and make sure that Julian is isolated from Elena, so that he doesn't catch cold."

The partition was drawn and then Leo placed the back of his hand to the tiny forehead and found that her temperature was slightly higher than normal. He sighed and then picked her up worriedly. Just when he was about to go out to look for Snow, he found that Snow had come over in the room.

Snow saw his face and realized that he was very worried, she asked, "What happened?"

The young man shook his head and replied, "Elena caught cold."

Snow checked her and then replied, "How about we take her to the doctor?"

Leo nodded and then said, "You bring Julian in another car, if it is an infection, I don't want him to catch it."

Snow nodded in agreement, she also understood that the children could catch infection rather quickly and it was not good. After all, none of the parents would want their children to fall sick.

Leo went out of the house with Elena in his arms, Lily raised her head to look at them, she was studying in the living room. Leo looked at her and said, "Lily, Elena has caught cold, we are going to bring her and Julian to the doctor. Can you stay home?"

Lily was surprised and asked, "How did she catch cold? She was fine in the morning."

Leo shook his head and replied, "I have no idea, it could be some sort of allergy. We need to bring her to the doctor."

Lily saw his serious and worried visage and replied, "Alright, I will stay home, you both can go ahead."

Leo took a deep breath and replied, "Yes, we will be back soon. Beta is staying home to look after you, and so is Grandma."

Lily nodded and said, "I will be fine, Baba, you guys hurry."

Snow also came down holding Julian in her arms. The little boy had fallen asleep from the massage, and Snow replied, "Ma, can you inform the doctor to be ready?"

Anastasia nodded, she knew that the lady didn't say anything for her own sake, but it was more because Leo was worried beyond help. Well, who can blame him, the seemingly omnipotent man was having a hands-on-job time learning about how to be a father and how to look after an infant. Well, the last time he was confined to bed and thus he was a noob.

Kyle looked at Leo who was coaxing the irritated Elena, and from the rear view mirror it looked like, Leo was doing his best to stop himself from crying. Kyle sighed as he thought, 'The man who is akin to a death calamity to many, and some worship him like a god, but here he is, worried that his daughter has caught cold and on the verge of losing his shit. Truly, the world is magical and the human heart is a divine artifact that cannot be understood by common sense.'

As the car approached the hospital, Leo got out quickly and he brought Elena to the special children wing where the director of the pediatric department was standing in wait with her team. Leo had come to realize the significance of this department after his children came to the world.

Snow was following hot on his heels with Axel following behind her. She sighed and said, "Leo and his love for his daughters surely makes me think what would happen to you, my darling boy."

Axel smiled and replied, "Madam, you worry in vain. Sir is not biased, he is just worried about second young miss."

Snow smiled faintly and replied, "I know Axel, but I cannot help but lament at times. See, the entire department has stepped up to look after the little princess, yet your Sir is so worried as if he is about to faint. Look how pale he looks, and the one at home tell people that her Baba can break mountains with his fists."

Axel had a bitter smile on his face, and exchanged a gaze with Kyle who was standing beside him. The two men knew that Lily wasn't lying but the situation before them was a truth they could not deny either.

The doctors checked Elena, and then the director turned around to look at Leo as she said, "Mister Cardinal, you don't have to worry to much, the child is fine, we have taken the samples, and the reports would come in soon, however, from what it looks like, this is because the changing season. Sometimes, children find it difficult to adjust to the changing seasons, and thus they catch the cold. However, it is nothing major."

Leo nodded and asked, "Director Hilt, is there any method to remedy it?"

Director Hilt smiled and said, "You can keep the temperature inside the house regulated, but I would suggest that you don't control it too rigorously, after all, natural parameters contribute best towards the growth of the children."

Leo sighed and then Director Hilt said, "I will prescribe you some minor cold medicine and they will alleviate the condition. Don't worry, Mister Cardinal, such small things happen all the time. If you panic this much then it would harm you, and if just so you know, while bringing the children to hospital for treatment is a good thing, you should know that a hospital is not an isolated place. On the contrary, the chances to get exposed to infections is higher."

Leo was stunned for a second but then he calmed down and said, "Thank you, Director Hilt. I will keep it in mind."

The lady nodded and then she made her way over to Snow, and gave Julian a little check up before she said, "Snow, you need to tell him to not worry so much. We have taken the blood sample but this is the last time, they are not even an year old, we cannot just take samples like this."

Snow nodded and bowed her head as she said, "I will make sure that he understands this, Director Hilt. Thank you for your advice and patience."

The older lady sighed and patted Snow's shoulder before she left the place with her team. They had many patients to attend and many other things to deal with. One of the special nurses were left behind to handle the situation and monitor the child. Leo sat down on the side with Snow beside him. The lady sighed and said, "You realize how you not only panicked but also put them at risk?"

Leo nodded and replied, "Well, I know, I should be a little more patient when it comes to handling such affairs."

Snow nodded, and then said, "I have sent Axel, he would bring the medicine from the pharmacy and then we will as the nurse sister here to administer the medicine. You will learn and tonight you are on the floor, and Elena is with me. Julian will stay isolated a little. I will ask Mom or Fragrance to look after him. Thankfully they are calm like me, or everyone else would be terrified of baby-sitting them."

Leo nodded with his eyes closed, and said, "Yes, in this aspect we are particularly lucky."

Soon, the medicine was bought over, and the nurse showed Leo how to administer two drugs with the dropper and she said, "That is all, now you need to wait fro the test results and from what Director Hilt has said, I am sure that this is just because of the changing season. Next time you take her for sunbathing, remember that you only need them to feel he heat of the sunlight and keep them warm. The snow has yet to recede in the mountains and we are all living below them.

The wind may be calming but it still has some cold attribute to it. So, next time, wrap the children carefully. Good enough to keep them warm, but also free enough to make sure they don't suffer from suffocation."

Leo nodded and thanked the lady before he picked up Elena and went to the car. The bill had been settled by Kyle and the people drove back to home. Snow explained the situation to Lily and Anastasia and they calmed down. Leo apologized for his actions but Elena had caught cold and so he had panicked.

Anastasia shook her head and said, "It is okay, Leo, when Lily was young, such things were dealt by Snow. Don't worry, Elena will be fine." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Leo couldn't help but look at the angel sleeping in his arms.
