Almighty Father System-Chapter 356: Trouble Sorted.

Leo received the news from Colonel Armas that everything was now settled and that he didn't have to worry about the political lobby pulling the strings. Although they were a constitutional monarchy, the politicians still had no power to veto the decisions made by the royal family.

As soon as the next morning, the issue was made public and the last attempt to resist the weeding had been quashed. The people of the nation were happy, the influence of the Royal Family increased even more, and supporting a 'righteous' company made them look righteous as well.

Leo had no idea what to say to these people. He made a public statement as well, that he had accepted the position as the consultant of the military. Although many people didn't realize the importance of this, but the wise knew that it was a warning from the military and the imperial family. That Leo Cardinal was one of them and if they tried to pull funny moves on him. They would be incurring consequences for themselves.

That day, Leo returned to his home and met his family with a smile. Lily on the other hand got busy playing with Momo, because Leo had gotten her a hair band that had cat ears on it. Momo was surprised because the cat ears also moved with a small motor inside them.

The young man watching Lily tease the cat, and Snow asked him, "So, what now?"

Leo replied, "Military research would be prioritized and the resources would be channeled in a different manner."

Snow nodded and asked, "What about the commercial side? The capital flow from the military will not be coming in as quickly as usual."

Leo sighed and said, "I will have to come up with various versions of the robots to sale them in the market and also I was thinking about pushing on with the space research program."

Snow agreed with it, she knew that if they were to compete for the fields of commercial of the existing norms, it is not supposed to an easy situation. So picking the up the niche field would be a better option.

Life restored the daily pace and things settled down. Tyrant Group was busy saving whatever they could so they didn't even have the time to think about Leo Cardinal. The weak and discarded of the Primal Family had begun stepping up to take the chain of command and they tried their best to salvage the image of the family.

Stellar had come over to stand out on the top of the Primal Family and Socrates had become rather reclusive.

Leo was sitting in his study handling a call with Markus and asked, "Is it settled?"

Markus nodded and said, "Yes, it would be done by midnight."

Leo nodded and replied, "What do you think about re-settling the company over here?"

Markus was surprised and replied, "I will contact Ellyse about this."

After a few minutes, Ellyse also got on the call and then she replied, "Sir, we can move over there by the time the headquarters complex is completed."

Leo spent his mornings guiding Lily and then he cooked for Snow, dropped Lily to school. He accompanied Snow to her check-ups, and walks. He also dedicated some of his time to research and exchanged his thoughts with the scientists. The progress was steady and the breakthroughs were significant as well.

One month after media address, the Utopia Research Center published a paper that they have developed Graphene. The paper shocked the world, and following it, the battery technology of the Clover nation evolved.

Then came a break through in the research of the maglev technology and the Cardinal Group made the whole project funded by the public and gave them shares in return. The infrastructure plan had been drawn up and they were also passed on to the government for approval.

The government didn't try to nitpick. Cardinal Group collaborated with various renowned engineering companies of the country and the project took off.

Lily had been participating in various competitions and she had gained a lot of reputation among the people, be it music or chess. She was also the youngest debate team member, although she didn't take the stand, she was a part of the team and learned very nicely. The little girl was representing the Primus School and was cared by her teachers.

Six months later, Utopia Research Center dropped a bomb on the world, they had prepared the model of the space elevator and the Cardinal Group had bought out an island in the water limits of the nation. They planned to start the construction tests there only.

The world went crazy, while the people of the Clover Nation were feeling euphoric, the rest of the world that picked a fight with the Cardinal Group was gritting their teeth.

While this was going on, the man behind all this was pacing along the lengths of the hospital corridor. A few months ago, they found that they were going to have twins, and while Leo was ecstatic, Lily sighed as she said, "You are not allowed to overlook me because of my younger siblings, Baba."

She left him between laughter and tears. The young man had to coax her that she was his first child and he loved her the most after Snow. Lily was satisfied, with this, but looking at her father walking anxiously in the corridor she asked, "Grandma, do you know how long it would take?"

The old lady shook her head and replied, "No idea, but it should be fine. Don't worry."

Lily pointed at Leo and asked softly, "Then why is Baba panicking? Is Ma okay?"

Leo stopped pacing and he turned to approach Lily before he crouched on the ground before her, and said, "I am not anxious, and your Ma is not sick. I am just unable to tolerate the wait, it gets me nervous."

Lily sighed and looked at her Grandma as she asked, "Are all men like this?"

The old lady smiled and nodded as she said, "Yes, love, they are all like that."

As they were talking about this, the door of the maternity operation theater opened and the doctor came out with a nurse holding two children in their arms wrapped in warm blankets. The doctor said, "The procedure was successful, Snow is fine, but she is just resting because she is weak from the labor. The boy was born first and three minutes later the girl followed.

Congratulations, Mister Cardinal, you have been blessed with twin treasures."

Leo was shocked, he was still looking at the two small children, he didn't care about anything else, and not even the system notification in his mind. Lily clenched Leo's palm and excitedly said, "Baba, I want to see them. I want to see them!"

Leo woke up from his stupor and he stepped forward to the doctor as he asked, "Did Snow get to see them?"

The doctor nodded and said, "She was the first one to see them."

Leo nodded, he took the baby girl in his left and baby boy in his right hand. Anastasia picked up Lily from the ground and she saw two pink babies. Leo gently rocked his arms and asked, "Lily, you are now a big sister."

Lily smiled and then asked Leo, "Can I touch them?"

Leo chuckled and nodded, Lily carefully reached out to touch the little boy with her finger and the little boy flinched a little. Lily did the same, and then she chuckled as she said, "Little brother don't be scared, I am big sister."

Leo smiled and Lily did the same to the little girl. The little girl opened her eyes and looked at Lily before closing her eyes again, and Lily covered her mouth to not exclaim out loud before she said, "Baba, she looked at me. Little Sister looked at me."

Leo nodded with a smile and said, "She knows that you are her elder sister."

Lily smiled so wide that her eyes turned crescent, and Leo leaned over to kiss her cheek. Then the family moved to the ward, where the children were placed in the cradle and shortly after Snow was wheeled inside and the nurses carefully put her on the bed and covered her with a blanket. After a few minutes, Snow opened her eyes, and saw Leo standing next to her.

She smiled, this was the sight that she imagined the moment Lily was born but today, she could finally realize it, her eyes watered and she couldn't help but shed a tear. Leo reached out and wiped her tear as he asked, "I am here, don't worry. You have worked hard, take some rest."

He leaned over and kissed her forehead as he said, "Thank you, my love."

Snow held his hand and hummed before closing her eyes to sleep again. Lily asked, "Baba, what are we going to name them?"
