Almighty Father System-Chapter 333: Sudden Ripples.

Leo was spending his days at home doing various things that gave him joy. He finished setting up the nursery within a week, and then he indulged himself in sculpting a few things and Snow followed him. It seemed as if nothing in the world was going to bother him and his peaceful life, but just then he received a call from the Wagoner Group.

Leo picked up the call and asked, "Hello, who is this?"

The person replied, "Hello, Mister Cardinal, my name is Harmon Block. I am the new regional Director of the Wagoner Group."

Leo nodded and asked, "What can I do for you Director Block?"

The person on the other side replied, "Sir, may I ask if it is convenient to meet you? The nature of this issue is rather sensitive."

Leo nodded and replied, "Alright, you can come and meet me for a brunch tomorrow."

Harmon Block accepted the time, and then Leo went to sleep. It was already late at night and he was already heading to bed.

In the morning, Leo prepared Lily and sent her to the school with Anastasia. The old lady enjoyed bringing her little goblin to the school. Then Leo went inside the kitchen and he prepared some continental dishes as per his wife's demand. It was around eleven when Jock reported to him that a Mister Block had arrived to meet him.

Leo nodded and called for the man to come inside. After a few minutes, Leo greeted the middle-aged man at the doors, and they shook their hands. Leo invited the person inside, and then poured him a cup of lukewarm water, and said, "Welcome, Director Block,tell me what do you wish to discuss?"

The regional director sighed and said, "Sir, I will be frank, the four rings company under our banner is performing rather low in the Clover City Markets. The reason is your company's electric vehicles. They are cost efficient and they are also better in performance. The other board of directors are trying to file a motion against you."

Leo frowned and asked, "An anti trust motion?"

Harmon Block shook his head and said, "No Sir, they want to take back the shares because even as a shareholder you have not done anything to revive the brand."

Leo frowned even harder and asked, "How is that related to me? Am I the head of the Four Rings company? If my product is better than what is being made in the Wagoner group, then how is it my fault?"

Harmon Block nodded and replied, "I understand that, Sir. Even the director of the Four Rings company also said the same, but recently someone in the Four Rings company sold their shares and they were acquired by Viktor Henesi, and he is behind all this."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Why is he stirring up trouble?"

Harmon Block was surprised and asked, "Sir, are you not up to date with your company's racing team?"

Leo shook his head and asked, "Mister Harmon, can you get on with it?"

Harmon Block sighed and said, "Sir, your company's racing team is leading the world championship this time. They have given Henesi Racing a run for their money. Henesi Racing used to be the crowned king of the tracks, they have been holding the championship title for seven years straight, and even the constructor championship is held by them too. However, this year they are falling behind your company by fifty points and this is a threat to them.

Several times they have asked the control association to check if your company is cheating but your company came out clean. So, Henesi is making a move to pressure your racing division and the company at multiple positions."

Leo nodded and said, "Very well, so there are two issues that I need to deal if I want to make this Henesi bug go away?"

Harmon sighed and nodded, before he said, "I am sorry to be the bearer of such a news Sir."

Leo waved his hand and replied, "Don't worry, I will handle these things, lets have a meal."

Snow as also at home, but she was sitting in her room, and didn't come to meet the guest. The meal was short, and then Leo sent Harmon away, but before he sent the guy away, Leo asked, "What is it that you wanted by doing this?"

Harmon replied, "The wagoner group would like to collaborate with your company, Sir. They are discussing this within themselves, but the Chairman wanted me to clarify to you that it is not the company that is causing trouble, but that guy Viktor."

Leo nodded and said, "Tell your Chairman that I have taken note of this favor. If they reach out to me after a couple of months I will give them a good deal."

Harmon nodded and bowed before he left. Leo stood at the gate of his mansion for a few minutes, before he mumbled, "They just don't stop."

That said, he went directly to the study room and then he called Percie to find out who is the head of the car company. After a few minutes, the Director called him up directly, and said, "Good afternoon Sir, I am Nikki Saint."

Leo nodded to the man in the video. He said, "I didn't expect that the fabled Saint of the Streets is heading the company. I apologize for the dereliction of my duty. Is the company treating you well, Director Nikki?"

Nikki Saint was a famous rally racer and he was unmatched when it came to driving through the sharps of the city and he won a lot of prizes, he was quite old now. The man smiled and said, "Please do not embarrass this old man like this, Sir. Your exploit on the track has put the nation on the pedestal that we could only think of, please tell me what can I do for you."

Leo shook his head and replied, "Director Nikki, I am not looking for you to do something for me, but I would like you to push against the Four Rings as much as you can. Also, direct the racing team. I want the championship title under the name of our drivers, make them crush the Henesi."

Nikki didn't make a big deal of it, but he nodded and said, "Well, Sir, I will try my best but it might be a little hard."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "What do you mean? Our drivers, are they not good?"

Nikki shook his head and replied, "Sir, our drivers have no trouble, and as you may know, the championship is won by the combination of the driver and the car. Our drivers, although good, they have no skill to handle the car at its peak."

Leo frowned and asked, "You mean, they are holding back with the performance?"

Nikki nodded and replied, "The engineering team has done their best but they still cannot hold the car back that much. We have a significant advantage in every aspect, had it not been for the fact that the drivers were kind of troubled, we would have crushed the Henesi in the first three races only."

Leo mumbled, "I see, so what do you think is the solution?"

Nikki replied after some thought, "At this moment? We have half the season left, and even if we use the back up driver, we will need to win all the races, by one and two, otherwise Halland from Henesi will win the race. P2 also have a lot of points to their name."

Leo agreed and then said, "Fine, you can do your best and leave the rest to fate."

Nikki nodded and then he suddenly said, "Sir, how about you participate as the backup racer? We have your name registered as the third driver, just in case. Your performance on the charity race can get you the racing license after all it was an recognized event and you did win it. So, if you want to..."

Leo shook his head and said, "I am not free enough to participate in the races, Director Nikki."

The old man smiled embarrassingly, just then a soft voice asked, "Baba, you are grounded, and you are not going to work, why can't you race?"

Leo was surprised and he turned around to see Lily sitting on the couch. He forgot to close the door earlier and asked, "How come you are back so early?"

Lily shrugged and replied, "Someone in the chemistry lab broke a beaker and the fire alarm was triggered, so the school was dismissed."

Leo nodded and asked, "You are okay?"

He looked at Nikki Saint with a look, and the old man said, "Sir, please go ahead."

Leo walked up to Lily and checked onto her, before she asked, "Baba, why can't you race?"

Her question left him speechless, and just then the system said, 'Ping: Host, how about it? Participate in the races and bring the championship trophy for your daughter. Reward: Complete acquisition of the Four Rings Motor Company.'

Leo sighed and he looked at Lily as he asked, "You want me to race? I will have to go out every weekend."

Lily smiled and said, "That's good, bring to travel along as well."

Leo was stunned and then he chuckled, and said, "How did you become such a goblin?"

He tickled her before he recalled Nikki was still on call, and went up to the computer, and said, "Director Nikki, you can inform them that I will come. Just make sure that the drivers are not troubled. After all, they have been putting their hearts out for the past races, I cannot offend them, the reputation of the company and team is also important."

Nikki was surprised and then he said, "I will talk to them, Sir. Please don't worry."
