All Heavenly destiny reduced to ashes-Chapter 1491 - 265: The Sun and Moon Cast Down, Seven Luminaries in Chaos (6/6)
The scepter descended, and light fell like rain.
Along with them fell the pieces of the Heaven and Sea Array, already covered in countless cracks, now completely shattered by the power of the Southern Dipper Life Infusion, or rather, the Second Imperial Court! 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Countless tiny dots of light fell from the pinnacle of the heavenly dome, erupting into bright flames, continually plummeting to the ground, igniting houses, collapsing streets, exploding into bright patches of light. The formations in Shenjing, independent of the Heaven and Sea Array, took action, activating Daoist Patterns and Light Wheels to offset many impacts. Yet even then, countless screams and cries were provoked.
But faintly, they could hear.
They could hear countless laments and cries within the descending Heavenly Martial.
—Tremble.
To the world’s other end, beside the Western Mountain and Northern Border, refugees still on the move raised their heads, looking towards the southern Shenjing. These people, long shattered by upheaval, had their numb eyes gradually light up, exclaiming in shock, awe, and amazement at the blood-colored sun rising unknowingly from the south.
—Shatter.
At the edge of Shenjing, in the camp outside the Heavenly Gate, people silently swallowing relief food lifted their heads, gazing at the radiant Shenjing. Neither fearful, nor joyful, or rejoicing in misfortune, they widened their eyes, watching the descending scepter, the falling light dots, gritting their teeth, or laughing heartily, seeing off the shattering of the Heaven and Sea.
—Annihilate.
All those who had perished, soul spirits rushing into the earth veins, countless who died in Hanhai Demon Disaster, Northern Border Frost Calamity, Blood Sea Tribulation, or any calamity and malice driven by humanity, all those should have continued but perished early without future or hope, nestled deep in the earth veins’ slumbering Heavenly Martial, now roared out their anger, weeping and pleading for a wish.
—Please remold everything.
—Please break the confusion.
—Five shining stars, endlessly rotating Yin and Yang, reversing and disordering the Seven Luminaries, annihilating everything with calamity and disaster.
—Please destroy the world!
And the girl holding the scepter, likewise, knelt on one knee, bowing her head to the lofty sky.
She beseeched.
Beseeched Heaven’s Will.
Hence.
The scarlet light on the horizon burgeoned.
The starry sky dissipated, the universe cleared, nowhere in sight of even a wisp of white cloud, nor wind, nor sound. Above the heavenly dome, only a blood-red expanse.
But in this redness, five large stars brightened.
—Mars Guarding Heart, Taibai Erosion and Soaring, Regulus Retrograde, Morning Star Eclipse, Star Suppressing Tremor—
The erratic, rotating stars carved out unspeakable arcs across the sky, and from hereon, no one could predict any future direction.
Soon after, the Sun, supposed to rise from the east, illuminating all things on the North Mysterious Sacrifice Continent, instead retraced its route and fell.
Then... atop Shenjing, without notice, rose two massive red-gold stars, like a crimson sun, or a blood moon!
These two stars continuously ascended, and within the dazzling golden brilliance, a glimpse of the deepest crimson, piercing to profound black, could be seen!
Only then did some notice something amiss, for around that sun and moon, vaguely discernible outlines appeared, like a pair of eyes.
Those red-gold stars were not stars but the eyes of a giant god using the heavenly dome as a body and the stars as a shadow, blocking out the sun and sky!
—Sun and moon bear blame, Seven Luminaries in disarray.
—Heaven and earth reversed!
[Divine Power Body·Tribulation Punishment Celestial Punishment Emperor]
Like a solar eclipse, he cloaked the sun’s brilliance, casting his shadow and light over Shenjing, seeming to want to step out from the other end of the sky!
No. Not seemingly.
He stepped out!
Boom!
Tremendous tremors shattered all divine skills in Shenjing, whether floating giant ships or rotating fans at home, government or civilian, all divine skills stalled in response. Floating fortresses around Shenjing also tilted, spiraling down toward the earth.
Inside and outside Shenjing, no matter the family, force, or organization, all protective great formations were activated by massive vibrations, lighting up in an instant, filling Shenjing with countless, nearly infinite varieties of light patterns and formation maps, divine power and spiritual light, reaching to the clouds above and the Nine Springs below!
Yet all this was suppressed by the successive falling Seven Star Judgments.
The red-gold stars fell, tearing and shattering all things, transforming into an immense stream of light, dyeing the entire sky a profound crimson, as if Cangtian wept blood, while the Great Void was torn apart, opening wounds, letting a mighty rift descend from the sky’s zenith to within Shenjing.
Contrary to all who had prepared beforehand’s expectations.
This light did not fall on the Divine Beheading Platform.
Instead, it directly struck the Yuan Family.
"What?!"
Both Yin Gujin and Hong Xieshi turned aghast, Grand Preceptor Hong looking dumbfoundedly at the Xuan Mingyu beside him, finding this young Emperor’s expression also solemn, even holding a trace of incredulity.
Governor Yin wanted to act, but in an instant, sensed another kind of threat and oppression from the far end of the Void.
Then, in this moment of hesitation, the Heavenly Light fell.
Followed by engulfing tremors.
A colossal shockwave exploded in an instant, spreading, the Void Formation originally enveloping the Yuan residence rapidly compressing then violently expanding.
The Yuan Family headquarters, compressed into only a thousand acres yet practically the size of an entire city, would have rapidly expanded after the Void Formation’s collapse, exploding beyond any typical detonation, fracturing and destroying surrounding districts, but none of this transpired because it was entirely vaporized, evaporated, by an unimaginable power.
Whether spiritual objects, Spirit Land, or any divine steel formation base, Void Technique, all were nullified, decomposed, shattered, consumed, annihilated, including heavenly officials within, not just True Person but True Lord.
But as they were heavenly officials, they had no means against this power, essentially powerless before a central force belonging to another world, rendering Imperial Court’s Dragon Qi power meaningless.
A massive storm soared skyward, its ripples sweeping through Shenjing, burning signboards on streets during whirlwinds, and people blown away amidst screams, lifting, soaring off the city. Terrifying air currents rose to thousands of miles high; within the Yuan Family, circulating water veins turned into inexhaustible steam, condensing at high altitudes, falling as swirling frost and snow.
And those within fell alongside, turning to burnt ashes.
The Yuan Family was annihilated.
A footprint-like giant abyss appeared in the heart of Shenjing.
And a silhouette leisurely stepped forth from this light and abyss.
