Luo Xiaoqian’s gaze lingered briefly on the white man’s face, finding him very familiar, but unable to recall where she had seen him before.
Leng Zimo warmly shook hands with the white man, then hugged him, babbling a long string of words.
He was speaking French, which Luo Xiaoqian barely recognized, but beyond that, she didn’t understand a single word.
"Hello Mr. Leng!" when the two men separated, the smartly dressed young woman extended her hand with a smile to Leng Zimo, "Let me introduce myself, I’m Mr. Anderson’s new assistant, you can call me Maya!"
"Hello!" Leng Zimo shook hands with her very formally.
Noticing Luo Xiaoqian standing aside, he reached out and pulled her to his side.
