"I’m here!" Luo Xiaoqian quickly turned around, smiling at him, "I wasn’t leaving!"

"Daddy, you’re awake?" Luo Jun saw Leng Zimo open his eyes and quickly ran over to his pillow, looking at the bandage on his head. The little boy furrowed his small brows with a worried expression, "Does it still hurt?"

"Mo Mo don’t worry, Uncle Yizhou gave daddy some painkillers, daddy doesn’t hurt." Leng Zimo raised his hand, gently holding his little face, "How was today, did you have fun at kindergarten?"

Luo Jun shook his head, "Not fun."

"Why not?" Leng Zimo asked curiously.

"I was worried about daddy." Luo Jun answered honestly.

Hearing the little boy’s simple words, Leng Zimo’s heart warmed, pulling the little guy close, and he gently kissed his forehead, "Good son, I’m sorry for making you worry. You don’t have to anymore, you can rest assured now. Daddy’s surgery was very successful, and daddy will get better very soon!"

Raising a finger to point at his own head, Leng Zimo smiled and asked, "Look at daddy’s new haircut, your mom cut it. What do you think, is it cool?"

The little guy looked carefully at him, then solemnly nodded, "Very MANLY!"

Leng Zimo just chuckled softly upon hearing that.
