After Marrying Him, the Ending Has Changed-Chapter 881 - 882: If the Money Isn’t Enough, Mom and Dad Have More
"Brother Hai, I have no objections to this matter either. If there’s a suitable option, let’s just buy it." Su Wanyu also agreed.
She had seen a lot of the world, and while she was initially surprised because her daughter brought it up so suddenly, she had now calmed down after the initial shock. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
She wasn’t against buying a house in the Capital City either, because even if they didn’t buy now, they would have to when their daughter goes to school there.
So buying it in advance is fine since the family has money anyway.
"That’s great! Dad, Mom, you’re the best, most open-minded, and understanding parents in the world. Now we’ll just wait for news from Brother Yu." Jiang Mianmian couldn’t help but laugh when she saw her parents weren’t opposed.
Seeing her so happy, Jiang Changhai patted his chest and said with valor, "How much is a quadrangle house in the Capital City? Do you have enough money? If not, your mom and I have some."
"Dad, don’t worry. I have enough money, and if I don’t, I’ll ask you for more." Jiang Mianmian reassured them, taking on the task of buying the house.
"Okay, just let us know if it’s not enough. Daughter, you really have some ideas. If we buy a quadrangle house in the Capital City, wouldn’t that make us people from Capital?" Jiang Changhai asked excitedly.
"Yes, Dad, Mom, we’ll be people from the Capital City in the future." Jiang Mianmian stood tall with pride and excitement.
In the past life, getting a resident status in the Capital City was so difficult, something money couldn’t even buy. With the current relaxed regulations, it was the perfect time to move the entire family there.
"Hey, daughter, sit lower, I can’t see the road." Jiang Changhai reminded her, looking at the back of her head.
"Oh, okay." Jiang Mianmian immediately slouched back down.
This year, she was already eleven, and sitting on the front seat, if she sat up straight, the back of her head would block half of Jiang Changhai’s view.
The family returned home with laughter and chatter. Jiang Changhai and his wife initially thought the gift Jiang Mianmian mentioned was just the cake she brought back.
But upon arriving home, Jiang Mianmian pulled out a large stack of hats from her bulging school bag.
"Dad, Mom, look, these are hats I personally modified, solar hats with fans. Put them on and try them out." Jiang Mianmian handed over the hats to them.
"Daughter, your hats are so peculiar, they even have a little fan on them." Jiang Changhai turned the hat over and examined it.
Su Wanyu took the hat and stood in front of the mirror in the living room wardrobe, adjusting it for the best look as she put it on.
"Dad, Mom, these hats are my latest invention for cooling off. Once you put them on, you can both shield from the sun and enjoy a breeze. Aren’t they great?" Jiang Mianmian explained simply.
"Daughter, I’ve got it on, how do you turn on this fan?" Su Wanyu asked, looking down, as she approached for guidance.
"Mom, there’s a switch at the top of the fan. Just flip it, and it’ll start working." Jiang Mianmian said, then turned on the fan.
"Wow, daughter, this hat is amazing, so refreshing!" Su Wanyu said with a face full of enjoyment.
They had ridden their bikes for over half an hour to get home and hadn’t cooled off yet. The breeze felt incredibly comfortable now.
Seeing this, Jiang Changhai quickly followed suit, putting on his own hat and turning on the switch.
"Daughter, this hat is so practical. You’re really something." Jiang Changhai gave his daughter a thumbs up.
