"You want to confirm my identity?" Grey was a bit amused by the man's words. He could understand why they were hesitant from the start since they were trying to break the seal which was left behind by Grey's Ancestor.

He took a look at the other five, and noticed that indeed, they wanted him to confirm his identity. Of course, they didn't say it like the old man in blue, but they still wanted to make sure Grey was who he said he was.

"Is there any way you can confirm my identity? My Ancestor should've told you guys the way to confirm my identity." Grey asked with a chuckle. He didn't know if the genius from the Vaergahl Family left behind a method to confirm if he was related to him. Sir Astarot assured him that he didn't need to worry about not being able to take the treasure before entering this place, therefore, he had nothing to fear.

"Young Lord, the method is actually very simple." The old man Grey stopped from self-destructing spoke up.

Grey turned his gaze to the old man, motioning for him to go ahead with his explanation. The old man continued his explanation and told Grey of the method to confirm his identity. It was just as the old man said, it was very simple. All Grey needed to do was show them his scales. The genius from the Vaergahl Family told them before his death that a genius from his Family would eventually come for his remains and life treasures. The only way to confirm the identity of this person is to see if they had their own scales.

There were a few humanoid races that had scales, but none of them are like humans. A human like Grey could keep and take out his scales. While other races that have scales can't hide all their scales. Take for instance, there was a race of people Grey encountered in one of the secret worlds he had visited that had glowing scales on their necks at all times. Other than their necks, there were no scales anywhere else. However, whenever they want to fight, their bodies become covered in scales.

Grey didn't have any problem with this method of identification. He didn't need to worry about there being a special item that needed to test his blood. Lifting his sleeves up, his right arm gave off a bright bluish glow before light bluish silver scales started to grow on his right arm. In a short time Grey's entire right arm had become covered in scales, even his fingers weren't the same as sharp claws had appeared.

He looked at them and asked calmly, "This should be enough proof right?"

The old man nodded. The other old men nodded with a sigh. They all looked at Grey's arm curiously, but they couldn't understand how he was able to achieve this. They've heard of it from their Ancestors, never did they believe that they'd see this with their own eyes.

"Scales, real scales."

One of them old men felt his body vibrate as he looked at Grey's arm incredulously. He wasn't the only one fascinated by the scales, even the old man in blue who had a bad attitude towards Grey was clearly captivated by the scales.

Grey retrieved his scales after letting these people have a good look. The old men showed looks of reluctance as they saw him take back the scales.

"Since you've confirmed my identity, I'd like to visit his cave abode." Grey said after taking back his scales. He didn't want to waste too much time here, at least since he's here, he should focus on improving his strength.

The old man Grey saved was the first to stand up, telling Grey to follow him. The other old men followed suit.

Grey didn't dally behind, keeping up with the group of six. They walked out of the Hall and headed deeper into the Manor. The McCall Family Manor was positioned in a place at one of the edges of the city, and this place had a few hills. They led Grey over to one of the hills, stopping at the foot of the hill. This hill was covered in mist, making it impossible to see more than a few meters ahead. A mysterious yet dangerous energy could be sensed hidden in the mist.

"This is that Senior's resting place." The old man leading the group pointed at the hill.

Grey looked at the hill and he could feel his blood boiling. It was as if there was something inside this hill that was very beneficial to him. His heart raced at the thought of what could be there. Anything that could make someone like him this agitated isn't ordinary. The thought of rushing into the hill came to him, but after a deep breath, he calmed his racing heart. His expression was very calm, a stark contrast to that of the other six old men.

The old man in blue particularly had a bitter expression on his face. His eyes darted around constantly, seemingly searching for something. The old man in black took a glance at the old man in blue, seeing him look around, he shook his head before warning the other party to refrain from doing anything stupid via mental transmission.

Despite sensing the subtle vibrations from the old men's mental energies, Grey didn't show any reactions. There was no point in trying to figure out what they were talking about. All that mattered to him at the moment was entering this place.

None of the old men made a sound, all staring at Grey. Grey already knew the means to enter the cave abode from Sir Astarot. However, the array used in the seal was quite intriguing. Grey wanted to inspect the array first before dealing with anything else. His eyes glowed brilliantly and before any of the old men from the McCall Family could utter a word, he had already disappeared from where he was standing, diving into the mist covered hill.
