Abyss Draconis-Chapter 327: MadWhite, A Young Lord? 2
"You never told me you were a ’Young Lord’..." Ryuk said after the maids exited, as MadWhite grabbed his knife and fork, which were, for some reason, covered in runic lines, making them sharper than a blade.
He cut up the huge plate of meat before him and stuffed it into his mouth while Ryuk picked on some vegetables with his fork.
"Oh, come on, the ’Young Lord’ is just a petty title that can be plastered on me due to my father. Not much worth bragging about..." MadWhite said with a shrug, as Ryuk rolled his eyes.

"Still, I’ll say this has to be the most lavish splace I have ever been..." Ryuk said, eyeing the surroundings.
When they had come in about an hour ago, it was a ginormous mansion that Ryuk had entered, and he had even thought it was a hotel until he realized everyone referred to MadWhite as ’Young Lord.’
After a little bit of showering and getting some clothes on, they came to dinner, and he was finally knocked off his feet.
MadWhite was strong, but he hadn’t expected he would be so stinkingly rich too.
It seemed like Ryuk himself was the only poor one among his people.
Arthur himself had a jet and a mansion, and even Morgaine had her jet and her mansion.
MadWhite was strong and also rich—even a Young Lord—but what about Ryuk?
He was as poor as fuck!
Even the clothes he had on couldn’t really be said to be his, though one would argue he was one of the strongest there was.
"Being born rich sure is a privilege, Ryuk. I very well understand that," MadWhite stated, earning Ryuk’s nod.
It seemed like MadWhite wasn’t one of those spoiled rich kids who got used to being wealthy from a young age and never really saw it as something to be proud of.
Ryuk himself had been from one of the poorest and lowest households in the shittiest city of Endearth.
Calling him poor would be an understatement.
He knew well how to appreciate every single thing he had—even the clothes he was wearing, which were gifted to him by Lydia, the elf lady in Elf City.
Back in Grade E, all he had were tattered jeans with ripped-out holes, a rope for a belt, and a heavy coat.
’Now that I think about it... Since Uncle Bob was so powerful, why couldn’t he have started in Grade B or C instead—where there was money? Why did he have to choose Grade E of all places?’
Ryuk wondered to himself before he suddenly remembered something, and he halted.
"Give me a few minutes, MadWhite..." he said placing down his cutlery and closing his eyes, seemingly zoning out.
"Hmm..." MadWhite simply watched on with interest but didn’t disturb him.
---
In the next instant, he appeared in a familiar place—none other than the Pet World—and what he saw made him furrow his brows.
RAAAAAAGGGHHH! RAGGGGGGGGHH!
It was the sound of an underdeveloped tiger’s roar, and it came from none other than the Dark Cave.
Outside, a large figure stood while another tiny figure stood inside the cave, baring its undeveloped fangs.
"You never told me it had hatched, Ryuk. A cat, huh?" Isha’s voice rang out as Ryuk walked forward, arriving before the cave.
The Void Kitten’s nose flared up before it instantly climbed into Ryuk’s arms and settled on his chest, baring its teeth at Isha still.
"Seems like it doesn’t fancy you..." Ryuk teased as Isha rolled her eyes at him.
"He’ll get used to me soon. And then I’ll repay him by ignoring him too..." Isha stated with a sleek sisterly smile, wicked plans in her head as she gave the Void Kitten a sneer, causing it to bare its teeth even more at her.
Ryuk shooed her off. "Stop scaring it..."
Before long, he faded out of the space.
---
After about thirty seconds, MadWhite watched as Ryuk slowly raised his head.
But in the next instant, a dark halo flashed in the room, and a new figure appeared—a pitch-black kitten.
MadWhite raised a brow.
"RAAAGGGGHHHH!"
The kitten bared its teeth the instant it saw MadWhite, burrowing into Ryuk’s embrace quickly and baring its teeth at him.
But Ryuk calmly rubbed its head, calming it down.
Finally, the kitten took its gaze away before turning to look at the table. Its eyes flashed when it saw the array of food.
"Go on..." Ryuk cajoled, watching as the kitten climbed onto the table and disappeared into the long line of dishes.
The sound of it scarfing down food rang out as Ryuk looked at its little butt bobbing up and down from an entire slab of meat. He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit.
"You got a new pet?" MadWhite asked, eyeing the Void Kitten, who soon dived into another dish, and Ryuk nodded.
"Yes. He’s very new, though. Just a week or two old..."
He said as MadWhite nodded before his eyes flashed.
"That reminds me—where is that Frost Wyvern of yours? The one that thrashed you in the Academy, remember?" MadWhite said with a giggle and a teasing tone.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The entire hall suddenly shook, the impact so strong that some of the plates jumped into the air.
A new figure appeared in the room, causing MadWhite’s lips to drop in shock.
Isha furrowed her eyes at him, and the air on MadWhite’s back unconsciously rose as his hands twitched toward his pistols—only halting due to Ryuk’s calm presence.
"This!? This is the Frost Wyvern?" MadWhite asked in shock as Isha looked at him for a while before directing her gaze away, looking toward the dishes of food on the table but she didn’t seem to be that interested in them.
She ignored them like a plague as she headed toward the window instead.
She gently opened them up, and with a leap, she soared out of the windows, disappearing into the clouds.
"Yeah, she’s the same one."
"It’s already a Grade A Beast!?" MadWhite wondered in shock as he looked at Ryuk, who nodded his head while calmly eating his vegetables with an innocent expression, and he couldn’t help but exhale.
"Monster, you’re a Monster!"
