"What the—!?"

"What the hell!?"

Every name that Ryuk called shook the hearts of the leaders.

Why!?

Because these names were the names of their various family Corporations—the literal backbone of their families, the entities that generated their wealth and stability.

The corporations responsible for their prosperity.

How Ryuk had gotten his hands on these locations, they had no idea.

Their throats constricted in fear as they watched him continue calling out names in a breathless whisper, until he came to a stop—calling all the names that the leaders have on top their head.

The room filled with loud, abrupt gasps of frosty white air.

"Every single one of these locations—I will visit." Ryuk's voice echoed, cold and resolute.

"And none will remain standing when I leave!"

Those words were not mere threats; they were the promise of a demon—one even an angel would not be able to turn back.

"Every single official that works in these companies, I will slaughter."

"And every machine that operates, I will raze into the ground."

"You all think MadWhite is a walking calamity? Hehehe..." Ryuk's chuckle sent chills down their spines.

"But I assure you... you will find no one more worthy of the name Harbinger of Nameless End than I will be..."

He locked eyes with every single leader, pure malevolence and dread flickered within his crimson pupils. Unconsciously, they all shifted back, distancing themselves from him.

And in the next instant, they watched in horror as Ryuk appeared behind MadWhite's seat, whispering:

"We leave."

A teleportation card materialized in Mahdet's hand.

He crushed it instantly, and a gaping vortex tore open, swallowing both MadWhite and Ryuk as their figures disappeared into nothingness.

The force that had prevented space from reforming finally faded.

Slowly—almost eerily—it began repairing itself, though its recovery was strangely slow, as if hesitant due to the lingering aura left behind.

A collective exhale filled the chamber.

"Huuuuuuu..."

Every leader let out a shaky breath as they turned to look at one another, fear mixing with caution in their eyes.

"What should we do?" The Elf leader broke the tense silence, his gaze locked on the lingering black hole and the shattered space.

The unconscious representative.

The twisted image burned into their minds.

They all took another deep breath.

"We..."

---

Above the clouds, MadWhite and Ryuk stood, their gazes lingering in the direction of the Ultra Base Assemby

"Not bad... Not bad at all." MadWhite chuckled, amusement lacing his voice. "Your actions were more than I could have imagined possible."

He had used the teleportation card, and when Ryuk opened his eyes, he found himself exactly where they had been previously—high above in the sky.

"Huuuuu..." Ryuk exhaled loudly as he began deactivating all the skills he had cultivated to boost himself to such a massive aura.

MadWhite watched with curious eyes as Ryuk's power level, which had briefly reached the peak of the Cataclysmic Plane, slowly dipped back down, until it faintly hovered around the Initial Plane of Cataclysm—before finally dissipating completely.

"So, you can bolster up your aura too... Just like how you bolster up your body?" MadWhite asked with an intrigued smirk.

Ryuk scratched the back of his head, smiling sheepishly before his gaze sharpened.

"I hope you don't mind my words in there. Me saying humanity's hatred is not worth much and describing it as petty..." Ryuk said seriously, looking MadWhite in the eyes.

For a while, MadWhite simply stared at him. Then, he smiled.

"To be honest, I was taken aback when you put it that way." His voice was calm but firm.

"The Dark Era holds too much pain to be termed with the word 'petty'..."

He paused before continuing.

"But I'm not mad at all. In fact, you're right."

"What would it matter if the Knulls descended and turned Endreath into a graveyard? What would humanity's hate amount to if Endreath got overtaken and ended up destroyed?"

MadWhite smirked slightly.

"Besides, I can see you may even have more love for humanity than I do."

He eyed Ryuk with interest.

"When you said you would visit those locations that serve as the strongholds of the Ten Families, I didn't sense even the slightest hint of hesitation in your voice. You spoke as if you had already destroyed them."

"It's something I had never even thought of doing myself..."

MadWhite shook his head, a chuckle escaping his lips.

"And also, your speech now just saved humanity from half-extinction."

Ryuk frowned slightly, confusion flashing in his eyes.

"No matter what I could have done, I don't think Porion City would have survived if the Knulls arrived for the second time and all we had was the human soldiers... and myself."

MadWhite turned to him, his gaze darkening slightly.

"Without you, we would no doubt have lost at least 30% of the population. That's a wilder number than you can imagine."

Ryuk exhaled, his brows furrowed in concern.

"I wouldn't call us saved though..."

He looked at MadWhite.

"Are you sure they will listen? Especially that Titan man—he seems pretty dead-set on eliminating the human race. Would they really conform to the speech of a naive kid'" Ryuk mused.

MadWhite grinned.

"If I were them, after everything you just said and the last mental image you painted in their heads, I think it would be foolish not to agree."

He folded his arms, looking thoughtful.

"Borin might want nothing more than to see me and humanity fall. But the Titan family doesn't hold the ultimate decision for the fate of their race."

"Even if he refuses your deal, the other families don't harbour as much hatred towards humanity as he does. They will use their brains very well."

MadWhite smirked.

"In short, they have a much higher chance of agreeing."

"And if Borin remains adamant?" Ryuk asked.

"Then he risks becoming the hatred of the other races, as they will see him as self-focused and uncaring about the fate of Endreath."

MadWhite said with a laugh.

"Trust me, he might have nothing but muscle in his skull, but even he wouldn't risk that."

Ryuk watched him for a moment before nodding.

MadWhite's confidence was unnerving... but it did seem logical.

Perhaps he really had done a good job?

MadWhite smirked.

"Well then, Ryuk. Our mission is accomplished."
