"And what reason do you think the Knulls are invading?" the Vampire Leader asked Ryuk with disbelieving eyes.

All their lives, they had known the only reason the Knulls were attacking was due to their want for resources—the Interdimensional Gates, to be exact.

In a way, it was a source of unlimited power and resources.

This had been what they had been told by their ancestors and what they had held onto all these days.

For a kid to come forward and say to them that it was all a lie wasn't something they were willing to take in easily.

"To answer that, I will ask another question," Ryuk replied calmly.

"Have any of you heard of a word called 'Dark Gomar'?"

Ryuk asked, scanning each of their facial features. They all had their eyebrows furrowed, same for MadWhite, who had the same clueless expression.

But when he turned to look at the red-haired Titan, he found his eyes bulging in shock.

"It seems like the Titan Leader might know some little secrets that the other leaders aren't aware of…" Ryuk called out aloud, causing the other leaders to turn and look at the Titan Leader, who seemed visibly shaken.

They watched as he brought out a book from thin air, his eyes scanning through its contents, widening bigger and bigger before he eventually shut the book and exhaled loudly.

He then turned his attention to the other leaders.

"Ten years ago, an anomaly gate opened up. An anomaly in the sense that it was absolutely pitch black, and its grade was unknown. It just couldn't be scanned by our Gate Scanners."

"We Titans thought this was a gate that would no doubt possess many secrets, artifacts, and resources, and so we decided to keep it a secret from the other families. Hence the reason why none of you know about it…" the Titan Leader explained, drawing the narrowed gaze of the other leaders.

"Continue…" Ryuk said before any of the leaders could butt in, and the Titan Leader was more than happy to not talk about the issue.

"After the gate opened up, we sent in one of our best adventurers—a total of seven Cataclysm-stage experts who were all attack specialists, and three Peak Dominion-stage healers," he said, his voice ringing loudly through the area. But then his eyes closed, and the color drained from his cheeks as his hand curled into a fist.

"Out of those ten adventurers, only one of them returned alive…" he whispered as gasps of shock reverberated through the entire area, even causing Ryuk's heart to shake within him.

"Seven Cataclysm-stage experts and three healers entered, and none of them came out!?"

"The one who came out was a healer, and he died just three seconds after stepping out of the gate. We couldn't get anything out from him at all."

"But even in death, he was clutching onto a book—a book written in letters that we couldn't decipher."

"Not long after his death, the dark gate closed up by itself, and we lost all connection to it. All we gained in the end was a book that none of us could read," he said as he held up a pitch-black book for all the elders to see.

"But if there is one thing about this book, it is that on top of every page, there is a word we can understand for some reason, even though it is written in the same letters as the entire book," he said as the book faded away from his grasp.

"What is the word?" the Fallen Man asked.

The Titan Leader muttered,

"Dark Gomar. That's all—Dark Gomar."

"And that word is present on every single page of the book, even on the front and at the end, even though we have absolutely no knowledge about what that word even means."

"The event was a catastrophic one and a big loss to the Titan family. But the gate had disappeared, and the lives had been lost. There was no need to go around informing everyone, so we decided to shut it off, keeping it a secret amongst some high officials in the race."

"But who would have thought I would hear that word once more…" the Titan Leader said, turning his serious gaze to Ryuk with furrowed eyebrows.

Ryuk nodded.

"According to what I learned from the Eternity Grade Expert, the Dark Gomar is the main goal of the Knulls."

"A Dark Gomar is a cultivation world," Ryuk said.

"A cultivation world?" the Titan Leader asked.

"Yes, a cultivation world that is naturally attuned to the cultivation of the Knulls themselves. It is a power the Knulls possess—to turn a world into a cultivation spot for their kind."

"Just like how we clear away forests to build houses on the land, the Knulls go about invading worlds just to turn them into a Dark Gomar. A place to increase their strength. A lifeless world filled with nothing but Abyssal Energy—the Apex Energy of the Knulls themselves."

"This is the true end goal of the Knulls' invasion."

"They don't want any resources, nor do they care to make us slaves."

"They simply want to turn our world into a cultivation spot for their kind," Ryuk said, his words ringing loudly and clearly, causing shock to the elders.

Ryuk then turned to look at the Titan Leader.

"That gate you found must have been a gate that led to a Dark Gomar. For your entire squad to lose their lives and none of them making it out, I believe that should reveal to you what a Dark Gomar truly is. It's amazing that one of your own even managed to get a book out from there…" he said to the Titan Leader, whose eyebrows furrowed deeply in thought.

This was the closest he had gotten to knowing what had happened ten years ago.

"The truth is, the Knulls aren't just a higher race."

"They are a conqueror race."

"They invade worlds and turn them into a Dark Gomar, killing everyone within and using them as a life source to increase the Abyssal Energy so as to cultivate their powers."

"Endearth is nothing more than one of the worlds that the Knulls are eyeing."

"Our chances of survival are really slim, as even worlds that have greater powers than ours end up succumbing to the power of the Knulls."
