If there was one thing Ryuk trusted to warn him of danger, it was his own body.
The most basic indicator was his body hair rising when danger was approaching, but now, with his heart pounding so much in fear, he couldn't just brush it off as nothing.
'But how?' he thought to himself. 'My strength is close to the Peak of the Cataclysm Stage. I am right now close to the peak of Absolute Power in Endearth!'
'Just how? How could I still feel fear from something that's not even in front of me yet?' He voiced his thoughts aloud, a bit of anger and confusion in his voice.
After he had exited the trial, he had thought himself to be truly strong now.
He had believed he could find some peace, yet now, barely a week later, he was feeling fear from something not in front of him.
"Huuuu!" A sharp inhale escaped him before it was released in a deep breath. In the next instant, Ryuk made his choice.

If his body felt fear, then that meant whatever was approaching him was scary beyond his current level of power. He could at least be grateful that his body could sense it.
'Now, all I need to do is not scream and get mad forever. If my strength now isn't enough, then the only thing I can do is to keep growing stronger.'
'My potential is nearly limitless. If I feel fear, I'll just fill it up until the fear disperses,' Ryuk thought as he opened his eyes to the flashing golden panel.

The system notification suddenly rang in Ryuk's ears, whose heart had already frozen in pain, but then, he sat down there, rooted in shock.
Ryuk's reasoning for adding all his stat points to Charisma had been simple.
He wanted to fill up all of his contracted pet space.
If there was one thing Ryuk knew, it was that his ability to contract beasts and gain random skills was a very helpful asset.
Normally, this skill would be weak at first, but with the existence of Ability Upgrade Cards, Ryuk could vastly increase the power of his inherited skills even faster than his pets.
Right now, he had planned on going around searching for beasts to fill his contacted space once he finished the mission with MadWhite.
But then he had noticed his abysmally low Charisma stats, which he knew well were a necessary requirement to contract beasts. Not all beasts would be like Isha, given to him as a gift and therefore easy to contract.
But still, Ryuk's heart had lurched in pain. He knew well right now what he needed the most: strength and agility.
To put so many stats into a stat that only worked for contracting beasts seemed dumb to him, even though he had argued that back then, his strength would increase once he gained more beasts and leveled up the inherited ability.
Right now, he had undoubtedly broken a milestone.
Now, his Charisma didn't only work on beasts; it worked on all creatures! Humans, Fallen Angels, Werewolves, Vampires...
"So, wait, does that mean...?" Ryuk asked in sudden thought, his surprise clear.
