When Li Luo and his group landed on the hill, there were multiple wary eyes looking at them. However, their looks of vigilance turned into pleasant surprise as soon as they saw familiar faces like Feng Lingyuan and Li Hongyou.

Li Luo took a look at the surrounding area. There was quite a number of people here, roughly seven to eight teams.

However, some of the teams were incomplete. They had most likely suffered from the same ambush as Li Luo's group.

Since these teams were all from the Heavenly Origin Ancient College, they were delighted when they saw Feng Lingyuan. Everyone rushed up to welcome her.

"Sister Feng!"

"It's great to see you here, Sister Feng. We're so lucky to have you with us. Our next mission will be easier with you around."

"There's Sister Hongyou too. Did the two of you team up?"

"As expected. The mission has been strange and unfathomable. It's safer for the stronger fighters to team up and work together."

As the crowd continued to chat amongst themselves, Feng Lingyuan looked straight past them towards the back. There was a slender and beautiful figure standing there. His hair was shoulder-length and his eyes glittered like cherry blossoms. With both of his hands in his pockets, he appeared really cool.

The feminine young man was Duan Mu, ranked third in the Upper Hall.

"Duan Mu, how's the situation on your side?" Feng Lingyuan asked.

At this moment, Duan Mu walked over with a group of people. The other teams gave way to him, and the two leaders came together. The feminine youth took a glance at Feng Lingyuan. "Things went alright. We were caught by surprise, but there were only two Greater Evil Spirits. In the end, we managed to kill one of them whilst the other was forced to retreat."

His tone was neutral with a certain softness in the hoarseness. It was really easy to mistake him for a woman if this was the first time one was meeting him.

Duan Mu was stunned. His peach blossoms-like eyes were filled with shock. Why did Li Hongyou sound like she was treating Li Luo as her leader? She was ranked tenth in the Upper Hall. Although Li Luo had shown an impressive display of strength before, he was only at the Heavenly Pearl Tier. No matter how domineering his battle prowess was, it was at the level of a True Seal-grade at best. Li Hongyou was at the Greater Heavenly Resonance Tier and possessed an extremely rare support resonance. The whole Upper Hall, including Wu Changkong and Feng Lingyuan, had tried everything to pull her over to their side. How had she ended up with Li Luo all of a sudden?

Duan Mu did not probe any further. A rare smile appeared on his face as he responded, "Impressive, Junior Li Luo. Although Hongyou is only ranked tenth in the Upper Hall, she's so hard to win over that not even Wu Changkong and Feng Lingyuan have succeeded. We're all here today thanks to you."

Li Luo quickly replied to him with a few humble words. He could tell from their short interaction that he was someone that he could get along with. Although he was slightly feminine, he was much easier to deal with than someone like Wu Changkong.

Both sides continued to discuss how they could work together. Suddenly, Feng Lingyuan, Duan Mu, and Li Hongyou turned their heads and looked towards the distance. A huge resonant power shockwave could be felt from that direction.

"Another team is coming. There are quite a lot of people too!" the crowd exclaimed in surprise.

As the crowd watched, multiple lights flew towards them into the sky above one of the hills.

"Eh? They don't look familiar. Are they not from our college?" The various teams from the Heavenly Origin Ancient College were startled as they looked at the numerous figures that had just appeared.

Li Luo's heart skipped a beat. "Not from the Heavenly Origin Ancient College? Could they be from the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College?"

His eyes lit up when he thought of this. He hurriedly scanned through the dozens of people, hoping to spot the figure that he had longed for all this while.

As he was looking for the familiar figure, a girl's arrogant laughter echoed in the air.

"Is this all? The Heavenly Origin Ancient College's teams look so pathetic."

As soon as her disdainful words left her mouth, the faces of those from the Heavenly Origin Ancient College turned furious.

Feng Lingyuan's brows narrowed a little as she loudly said, "Dear friends from the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College, why don't you come down for a chat since you're here?"

Their resonant power subsided as the new arrivals landed from the sky.

The original group quietly observed as they landed. Amongst them, there were three figures that stood out.

One girl and two guys.

The girl was young and beautiful. Her body was voluptuous and her legs were shockingly long. In between her eyebrows was a diamond-shaped crystal that emanated a fearsome holy aura.

It was Yue Zhiyu, ranked third in the Upper Hall of the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College's Heavenly Star Hall.

The other two were no slouches either. One was a youth with short hair. He appeared ordinary but he seemed to possess extraordinary grit and determination.

It was Wang Kong, ranked second in the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College.

His rank was higher than Yue Zhiyu's, but he was clearly one who preferred to keep a low profile. He stood at the side as if he was just accompanying her.

In contrast, the last fellow was the most eye-catching. Even the beautiful and arrogant Yue Zhiyu was unable to steal the limelight from him.

He was tall and handsome with a head of fiery hair. A blazing heat flowed around his body, giving off a tyrannical aura.

He smiled as he took a glance at the crowd, then he introduced himself as if he was the leader.
