Chen Shi hurriedly returned the greeting, "Chen Shi has met Brother Dao. I apologize for visiting abruptly and disturbing your rest. I feel deeply ashamed."

The handsome man was the Chang Chun Emperor; though he appeared slightly sickly, he was elegant and gave off an air of a noble gentleman, and said with a smile, "I've long been ill, can't live or die, just enduring it, so I can't rest. Daoist Chen, why have you come here?"

Chen Shi hesitated for a moment, then mustered up the courage and said, "I came presumptuously, and I have to shamefully request your assistance. My sect is being surrounded by enemies, aiming to exterminate us, so I wish to ask for the Emperor's help."

The Chang Chun Emperor was surprised and said, "Who is besieging your sect?"

"Experts from the Yunxiao Cave Heaven group."
