I would very much love to give my own coverage, but considering this is the latest Faction war we've got in so long I don't think I could give it justice in such a short amount of time.

Ok wow those are a lot of Yokai. Has there ever been a gathering as large as this before??? Shit, I never even knew there were so many types of Youkai until now. I mean, I knew, but seeing it is completely different.
Even with their different shapes, sizes, forms, whatever, they're oddly coordinated. Honestly didn't expect that.

Alright, folks, we've got more photos from the advance party that went inside. It seems like Lucifer Jr. has set up some kind of storm and protections together with the Holy Church to establish a foothold, more info in the live coverage. I did get pictures though.

I'm currently inside this weird place right now. My squad was called back, we're being really careful and alternating shifts and getting checked by the healers.
Yes. Just… fuck this plaec is weird. I can't even tell if my migraine is from the overwork or the swirling talking rainbow outside. SHIt i canT even type right, this plaec gives ya one hell of a hangover.
Edit: Guys, I'm not going to get in trouble, they don't care if we're 'on our phones' or whatever when we're on break. They're very clear that down time is important in stressful situations like this. I'm rotating back to the front in two hours, so I still have plenty of time to kill with my squad. Though I don't know how long the connection will last, I keep losing it.

How nostalgic. I remember when the paths were open for anyone to come and go when they pleased. It's a rare privilege to be able to watch something like this in such a way.

Hey I was just watching some of the live footage that the cameraman was taking while the Reporter lady was away. I think it's pretty cool that they're keeping the camera running as much as possible, even if they aren't doing a full on reporter thing every second. Well, it's now the second day of the Fae Realm Invasion or something like that. My timeline isn't perfect, but I'm doing the best I can.
So what we know so far
The Yōkai got a hold of some pretty powerful siege machines. My usual connection is pretty quiet about it but it was apparently built by some magician that's in contract with the yōkai and often works together with Lucifer Jr.
As we've seen, it's powerful enough to siege a well-protected castle.
And as ever, the reputation of the Fae is very much accurate with how many different bodies from various races were recovered from the first castle they sieged. The people I know pretty much just dumped me photos and I don't think those are appropriate to share here.
Lets just say that they're bad, very bad.
Anyways; Lucifer Jr and Miss Pendragon met up with what we know as the Lady of the Lake and she provided the yōkai Faction with details about the Fae Realm.
Their forces split up with the Hyakki Yagyō and Lucifer Jr. flying off into what appears to be the horizon while the others mostly the Pendragons and the other Yōkai to stay around and assault other places.
Anyways here's some pictures I've got:

From what I'm observing they are not the ones casting the spell, but merely activating the wands they are using.
The wands seem to be etched with a spell sequence and activated. Though, I'm not quite sure what the Foci attached to them is, it seems to negate the need for the user to use their own magic to activate.
Fascinating, I'm entirely unfamiliar with the material.

They say that a lot can change in a year, but I was skeptical until now. They've had how many big hitters suddenly move into their little corner of the world? You got Lucifer Jr who has very explicitly squared up against gods. You have another goddess, a new goddess of Asgard who lives in Japan for some reason. You have Scathach, the woman who trained Cu Chulainn, and noted god killer herself. Also I heard she trained Lucifer Jr? No confirmation on that. You have Yasaka herself who was always pretty strong. There's also that purple haired woman – forgive me, my Japanese mythology isn't that good – but she's a demigod or something? And last I heard, Tiamat is squatting in Kyoto now too.
With that kind of lineup, there's no way anyone can call them 'small' anymore. And I didn't even list everyone, there's still more.

Here's another update for everyone, and I'm starting to get tired of making new threadmarks.
Other than the Yōkai being prepared for this war, with them pushing the fae back with their Siege Machines, Wands and such.
Other than that–and some disturbance in Yōkai Kyoto which has been confirmed by my sources that it shouldn't be something we should be worried about:
The war is in full swing and in the favor of the Yōkai.
But as everyone has noticed with the war broadcasting; the live coverage isn't really so live anymore.

We've got news, folks, it's been a few days but we finally have news of Lucifer Jr.,
Apparently the huge explosion came from the illustrious Lucifer Jr. himself
How? We don't know.
My sources don't know either, just that the Explosion came from him.
Also the speculation about the Hyakki Yagyō doing something important was correct. They went on to get ships now they appear to have a number of them for their use.
They've also informed me that the Yōkai are not taking prisoners; pretty smart to be honest with the Fae being immediate bad news in any capacity. It's best not to have long interactions with them.
In other news, we've finally seen more of Raikou and Yasaka in action!
And that is probably because they've pushed quite heavily into the enemy territory. It seems like they're finalizing plans to strike at the heart of the enemy.

'Aight new info from the broadcast! It seems that they're now fighting Giant eldritch things of what seems to be Golems.
In other news it seems that Lucifer Jr. has now joined up with the main battlefield and a new ship also joined the fray. Although this ship seems to have a… very distinct Jolly Roger.
Though from what we are seeing this seems to be the very first massive resistance the Yōkai are facing. That makes sense since they have been plowing their way to the Fae Realm.
I'm also receiving info of a Giant that could affect time is in the battlefield. Its suspected to be a god.
We are getting live coverage but it's fizzling out due to the timey-wimey bullshit involved.

It appears to not be magic. In several images you can see a faint shimmering field of energy around her. I've noted this same phenomena on young Wilhelm and another member of his entourage. Perhaps some manifestation of Touki? I admit I'm not quite an expert in Touki. However, the effects speak for themselves, her power has been raised to the next level.

Wilhelm summoned the fake dragon right before that giant flashbang hit the battlefield. You can see him gesturing with some different staff [LINK]. The croc was from Captain Hook, we think. Hook told it to chomp, and like a good swamp cat, it did.
I wish I could summon dragons that quote Tolkein and swamp dinos who eat my enemies.

Ok, so everyone's wondering what is actually happening due to the amount of things that happened recently in the war. So one might ask: What happened?
What happened is the War is over.
And of course it is Victory to the Yōkai Faction.
It seems that in that chaotic final battle they managed to beat the Winter Queen and take her prisoner.

Got to say that dead Fae's blood really adds to the color of the room. That splash of red all over the floor and walls does give it that nice pop of color. And the dismembered head really does give the room a more rustic feel. The body could use some adjustment though, its just sprawled there all haphazardly and is ruining the color of the room with all those clashing colors

The amount of war reparations may be able to bankrupt entire magician organizations and minor pantheons as well. But I would like to bring to attention the first concession that Lady Yasaka stipulated for the Fae.
The Yokai will secede back almost all conquered territories back to the Fae of the Winter court and establish a 10 kilometer perimeter around the portal that Mr. Schweinorg opened. What that means is that the Yokai will be able to have stable access to the natural resources from the Fae lands, which have always been exceedingly difficult to get due to the dangers of travelling to the Fae lands in the first place. With that 10 kilometer area and the stable portal, the Yokai now have the monopoly of rare and highly sought after materials and resources.

Something to appreciate about the affects this war has to our society is that fae racist jokes is going off the charts, because even stand up comedians aren't scared of using them because you don't need to be Ultimate Class in power like to joke about the winter court because most of them are fucking dead and cant do shit.
Like even a Low-Class could joke about the Winter Queen and not get their shit beaten
We all know what happens if we do that to some Gods or some equally powerful being. I still remember that one Dwarf dude that joked about some god and got smited cuz he was some mid-class guy.

I've been going through previous footage and I'm still kind of hung up on several things. Why was Aži Dahāka there? There are people saying they spotted Crom Cruach flying away too. And apparently the god that was shooting blasts of godly time that was evaporating things on hit was Balor?
