A Blind Swordsman's Sword Coffin-Chapter 433 - Im The Master, Youre The Servant
The large orb traveled down Li Guanqi’s throat. He rolled his eyes—he’d expected it to dissolve into energy like a spirit fruit, but it went down like a rock.
Peng Luo slapped his back in a panic. “Don’t die, Brother! I’ve only had two comfortable days! And if you’re gonna choke to death, at least dissolve our contract first!”
The Heavenly Lightning Orb traveled down his throat and transformed into a streak of light that shot into his nascent soul.
Buzz!
His aura surged. The orb contained such immense energy that before he knew it, he’d neared the peak of the mid Divine Transformation Realm.
Li Guanqi paled. Such a rapid influx of energy was not a good sign.
The crowd around him noticed the chaotic fluctuations in his vital force. Lightning crackled off his body, a clear sign he couldn’t control the energy coursing through him.
His divine consciousness poured out to suppress the orb’s power.
The tiny human-like nascent soul in his dantian had turned bright purple, with electrical arcs wrapped around it.
Li Guanqi’s expression grew more strained as he realized the orb’s power had sunk through his body into his internal organs and meridians, even improving the quality of his spirit root.
When they saw him standing motionless, the crowd grew tempted. They exchanged glances, unable to hide their greed.
Nearly seventy Divine Transformation Realm cultivators turned malicious. Li Guanqi’s eyes narrowed, cold light flickering within them.
A dozen domains spread out simultaneously.
The terrifying spatial force threatened to squeeze Li Guanqi to bits.
“Kill him! He’s definitely injured. He can’t move!”
“Kill him and take the treasure!”
“Attack together!”
Shouts filled the sky. Emboldened, the crowd drew their swords and charged.
Li Guanqi’s eyes glinted with amusement. He smirked.
On his shoulder, Peng Luo’s eyes went wide, “Master, why don’t you... stay back and let me go ahead?”
Li Guanqi ignored Peng Luo’s anxious muttering. He drew his sword and stepped forward.
The wind howled, and rain poured down.
Powerful gusts tore through the space as tens of thousands of lightning bolts erupted from Li Guanqi’s body. Terrifying spatial force radiated outward for a thousand zhang.
“Sword Prison, open!”
Boom!
The moment his Sword Prison appeared, the dozen domains of various colors shattered. Li Guanqi was simply too powerful.
Terror rose in their hearts.
A deafening boom echoed, followed by a flash of lightning. More and more afterimages of Li Guanqi appeared across the battlefield.
Screams erupted as sword lights flew in every direction. Blood and severed limbs arced through the air.
Chills ran through the surviving cultivators. One by one, their powerful auras winked out of existence.
Then it finally dawned on them.
Even three famous late Divine Transformation Realm cultivators hadn’t been able to kill Li Guanqi. What made them think they could? Numbers?
Li Guanqi wove through the crowd with the Red Lotus Sword, launching attack after attack.
His domain’s spatial force pressed down on them, slowing their movements. The tens of thousands of lightning bolts inside the prison transformed into lightning swords, orbiting Li Guanqi in a deadly storm.
Most of the cultivators couldn’t defend against the onslaught.
The death toll climbed. Many voices began calling for retreat.
The remaining forty-odd cultivators pooled their strength and focused their attacks on Li Guanqi’s Sword Prison.
Boom! Rumble!
With a loud boom, they managed to create a hole. They fled like madmen.
Li Guanqi huffed coldly. The collapse of his domain sent blood surging up his throat, but he forcefully swallowed it back.
He stored away his sword and straightened his back, making no move to give chase. With a gesture, the sword prison vanished. A thin mist of blood hung in the air.
He burned the corpses and collected their storage rings. When he extended his divine consciousness into them, they let out bright cracking sounds as their owners’ seals shattered.
His eyes lit up as he scanned through the contents.
“Tsk tsk. Killing is still the fastest way to earn money...”
He took out a tier-five cultivation pill and threw it to Nine Heavens. He glanced at Peng Luo, who was wiping his drool, and tossed him one as well.
Peng Luo hugged the pill and happily gnawed on it. “Brother Li is amazing! That was so satisfying.”
Then his voice dropped to a mysterious tone. “Your divine consciousness and vital force are growing at incredible speed now, aren’t they?”
Li Guanqi raised an eyebrow in surprise but nodded.
Peng Luo stuffed the pill into his mouth and held out his hand again. “Two more pills.”
Li Guanqi’s face darkened. He grabbed Peng Luo and kicked him.
Thud!
“Ouch!”
Li Guanqi opened his hand. Peng Luo, who’d been flying through the air, instantly shot back into his grasp.
Li Guanqi fixed Peng Luo with an icy glare that made him shudder. His voice was calm. “I understand you used to be very powerful. But now... since you’re following me, you obey me. I can give, but you can’t ask.”
He dug his fingers into Peng Luo’s body. Light purple juice seeped from the wounds. The master-servant contract at Peng Luo’s brow flared with cold light.
Peng Luo gulped. He could feel the killing intent radiating off Li Guanqi.
As the contract flashed, sharp pain pierced deep into his soul.
Li Guanqi released him. Peng Luo clutched his head and collapsed to his knees in mid-air, shaking uncontrollably as purple patterns pulsed across his skin.
He... he really wants to kill me!
“Yes... M-Master...” Peng Luo whimpered. “I won’t... do it again.”
The spirit light on Li Guanqi’s brow faded. He looked down at Peng Luo, who was groveling at his feet.
“Remember. I am the master. You’re the servant. Watch yourself.”
Peng Luo pressed himself lower. “Yes, yes, yes... Master is right... I forgot my place.”
