A Blind Swordsman's Sword Coffin-Chapter 345 – I Don’t Think You’re Very Strong
A cold voice echoed out of the void. Li Guanqi narrowed his eyes, surprised—he couldn’t sense the speaker’s aura at all. That meant the man had stepped halfway into the Divine Transformation Realm.
And that man was none other than Mo Congyun, sixth on the Nascent Soul Leaderboard.
Buzz!
A crushing aura swept closer.
Rrrip!
A pitch-black tear split open in the air, three zhang before Li Guanqi. He rose slowly, motioning for Lan Xun and Xuan Qing to stay back.
A man in black and golden robes slowly stepped out of the tear in space. He had gray-white hair, some scruff on his face, and a black cloth patterned in red and white wrapped around his head. A sword hung across his back.
He gazed coldly at Li Guanqi. His every move screamed arrogance.
He stood in midair and looked down. When he saw Nine Heavens, a gigantic purple dragon, he felt shocked. A dragon! A true dragon!
Then he noticed Lan Xun and Xuan Qing from the corner of his eye. His face lit up with greed.
He needed a new sword, one perfectly suited to him. For a skilled cultivator, the right sword was crucial.
The Spiritfish clan’s bones made for natural sword seeds, and Mo Congyun had spent a lot of effort searching for them. However, Li Guanqi had intervened and ruined everything.
Li Guanqi had slaughtered three of his Nascent Soul Realm cultivators in moments. Their life jade slips had shattered one after another within ten seconds. As such, Mo Congyun personally showed up to see who dared interfere.
Roar!
Sensing Mo Congyun’s aura, Nine Heavens rose with a growl. The five-zhang-long dragon coiled around Li Guanqi, eyes narrowing before it roared toward the heavens.
Mo Congyun snorted. “That damn beast thinks it can roar at me?”
Boom!
His aura exploded outward. Li Guanqi felt its crushing weight, like a mountain pressing down upon him. It was the might of a half-step Divine Transformation Realm cultivator.
Then Mo Congyun’s eyes focused, recognition dawning. He smirked, slapped his forehead, and grinned. “Ah, you’re that blind brat. What was your name again? Forget it. It doesn’t matter.”
Clang!
He drew his sword. A burst of sharp metal power swept across the air, whipping Li Guanqi’s robes. Li Guanqi pursed his lips. He had to admit that Mo Congyun was strong.
But he’d made the mistake of targeting Nine Heavens.
Li Guanqi smiled faintly. “So you’re planning to kill me too.”
Mo Congyun threw his head back and laughed like a madman. When he stopped, his gaze turned cold. “You meddled in something you knew was mine. Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish. That dragon’s your trump card, isn’t it?”
Mo Congyun chuckled. “You really don’t understand what the Nascent Soul Leaderboard means, do you? The gap between each cultivator in the top thirty is like heaven and earth. And you? You’re nothing. Don’t worry, I’ll make good use of your dragon.”
Boom!
Li Guanqi vanished.
A dull thud rang out, and Mo Congyun was sent flying like a cannonball, ripping open countless spatial cracks as he went. Blood spurted from his mouth as his body bent inward—five or six ribs broken with a single punch.
His eyes went wide. He hadn’t even seen the attack. Li Guanqi was too fast.
Whoosh!
Li Guanqi reappeared behind him. Twisting at the waist, he swung a kick like an axe toward Mo Congyun’s head. The air screamed with sonic booms as space itself split apart.
Mo Congyun’s eyes widened. He had not expected Li Guanqi’s physical strength to be so impressive.
That single punch could have shattered a mountain a hundred zhang tall. He was completely defenseless against it.
Vital force surged through Mo Congyun as he flipped backward several times, creating distance. A dozen-zhang-long tear stretched before him, carved by that one kick.
He licked his lips, heart pounding. The sight of that vanishing spatial crack left him shaken.
Isn’t he a sword cultivator?! How does he possess such terrifying physical strength?!!
Below, Nine Heavens roared with excitement, cheering on its master. Because Mo Congyun had set his sights on the dragon, Li Guanqi didn’t want it to intervene.
He was curious to witness firsthand the true strength of the man ranked sixth. He wanted to gauge the extent of the difference between them.
Boom!
Blood ran down Mo Congyun’s chin as his expression hardened. “I’ll admit that I underestimated you. No wonder you’re on the leaderboard. You’ve got a few tricks after all.”
Li Guanqi stood mid-air and shrugged without replying. He had many more tricks, but he did not know if Mo Congyun was strong enough for him to use all of them.
Li Guanqi stood in the air without replying. I’ve got more than a few. But I’m not sure you’re worth the rest.
Buzz!
He tilted his head. “To be honest, you’re not as strong as I expected.”
Rage flared in Mo Congyun’s chest. He chuckled coldly. “We’ll see if you’re still talking after I’m done with you.”
On the ground, Xuan Qing anxiously pressed her hands together as she stared at the battle above. “Sister Lan, do you think Big Brother can win?”
Lan Xun bit her lip. Although she herself was a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator, she wasn’t sure either. After a moment’s thought, she shoved Xuan Qing toward the river. “Go! Find the Grand Elder!”
Nine Heavens glanced over but did not stop her.
Xuan Qing nodded and dove into the water, transforming into a fish as she vanished into the depths of the river.
Lan Xun gripped her sword, ready to strike. With her and the dragon, she thought, the three of them might just stand a chance.
Boom!
Terrifying sword qi burst through the air. Golden halos rippled across the sky, sealing a radius of five hundred zhang around Li Guanqi. The raging energy tore through his robes and even his skin.
Li Guanqi frowned.
Interesting... A man ranked sixth should have a sword spirit void as well. I wonder how many more I can take. Probably... three more.
