Chapter 387: Yin Yang’s Plan

In the evening, Yin Yang, Zhou Yunhong, and Huo Qingze came over together. Seeing so many people here made Xu Mumu’s mouth twitch.

"It’s so lively today," Xu Mumu said with a smile.

"Of course, it has to be lively, Mumu, are you tired?" Professor Song looked at Xu Mumu with affection.

"Not tired, I’m just helping out," Xu Mumu shook her head. She was indeed not tired; she was quite happy.

"Congratulations," Huo Qingze looked at Xu Mumu warmly, admitting that Yin Yang had a rather keen eye.

"Thank you," Xu Mumu smiled gently.

Mrs. Liu outdid herself with the dishes in the evening, and the food was exceptionally good, making everyone very happy. Professor Song even brought out some of his long-hidden liquor, and everyone drank a little that night.

Xu Mumu also had a small cup. In her past life, she could hold her liquor well, but not in this life; she turned red too fast and felt a bit dizzy.

"Tsk, Mumu is down with just one cup. Yin Yang, quickly take Mumu to her room," Professor Song’s mouth twitched at this girl who couldn’t drink. She mustn’t be allowed to drink again.

"Okay," Yin Yang nodded, also surprised that Xu Mumu couldn’t handle alcohol.

Being supported by Yin Yang back to the room, Xu Mumu was still conscious.

Yin Yang helped Xu Mumu back to the bed and poured some water for her. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"I’ll ask Mrs. Liu to make some sobering soup for you," Yin Yang said helplessly as Xu Mumu held onto his shirt.

"Don’t go," Xu Mumu grabbed onto Yin Yang’s shirt, unwilling to let him leave.

"Alright, I won’t go. Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?" Yin Yang looked at Xu Mumu. Her flushed face made him want to give her a little bite.

He also had a cup of wine, and now he suddenly felt a bit drunk.

"No, you haven’t properly spent time with me in ages. I miss you." Xu Mumu pulled with force, directly dragging Yin Yang onto the bed and hugging him.

Yin Yang hesitated a moment. He missed her too, but he had so much work to finish.

He reached out and embraced his beloved girl. "I miss you too, Mumu. Shall we marry soon?" Yin Yang felt he couldn’t endure anymore.

"Okay." Xu Mumu was momentarily stunned, but did not mind how close Yin Yang’s handsome face was. Sleeping with her little brother made her uncomfortable, but being held by Yin Yang felt completely comforting.

"You agreed?" Yin Yang was surprised to look at Xu Mumu. He thought she’d want to wait.

"Yes, I agreed," Xu Mumu snuggled in Yin Yang’s arms and felt like sleeping.

"Then you can’t backtrack, okay? I’ve noted it, once I finish work here, I’ll start preparing for the wedding," Yin Yang’s face spread into a wide smile, finally feeling a sense of relief.

"I won’t back out, whoever does is a little puppy," Xu Mumu tugged Yin Yang tightly, enjoying his radiant smile, even as her head felt all the more dizzy.

She soon fell asleep. Yin Yang, holding her, started thinking about finding an auspicious date for the wedding and getting all the preparations ready. They could only marry after the New Year since her family was far away, so no rush.

After Xu Mumu drifted off to sleep, Yin Yang carefully removed her hand, got up, and covered her with a blanket as it was getting cold, and she might catch a chill.

"Finally out, I thought you were never coming out," Professor Song glanced calmly at Yin Yang, munching on snacks, sipping fine wine, comfortably squinting.

"Grandpa," Yin Yang, with resignation. Luckily, no outsiders were around, so grandpa could joke at will.

"Haha, seems like your face is going to burst with smiles. What’s up?" Professor Song looked curiously at his grandson.

"Mumu agreed to marry me, and I’m planning to get married when we go back for the New Year," Yin Yang said with a cheerful smile all over his face.

"Really?" Professor Song looked at Yin Yang in surprise, eager for them to marry soon.

"Certainly," Yin Yang grinned.

"Congratulations," Huo Qingze lifted his glass towards Yin Yang.

"Thank you," Yin Yang smiled, nodded, and took a small sip from his glass.

That night, Yin Yang was too excited to sleep, while Xu Mumu slept soundly. Early the next morning, she was up, her head a bit uncomfortable but bearably so.

Rubbing her temples, she seemed to have agreed to marry Yin Yang last night. Thinking about it made Xu Mumu blush. She must have been seduced by Yin Yang’s charm to agree. That guy really knew how to strategize, humph.

Actually, she also wanted to marry soon. When the New Year’s over, she’ll discuss everything needed with her parents.

"Morning, Mumu," Yin Yang said with prominent dark circles under his eyes, but full of energy.

"Morning, are you still here?" Xu Mumu, seeing Yin Yang, recalled last night’s events, and her face warmed again.

"I’m still here. I’ll drive you to school," Yin Yang said gently, pondering he might need more people from Lan City for assistance.

"Okay," Xu Mumu nodded, washed her face. Mrs. Liu had already prepared breakfast. Morning’s menu was crabmeat buns, with plenty of crab recently bought for the little garden.

"Delicious," said Xu Mumu after a bite, her eyes brightened. Mrs. Liu’s cooking skills remained as good as ever.

"Eat more. You’ve been busy lately," Yin Yang gave her another bun. Crab buns weren’t big, two bites would finish one.

"You’re busy too, you should eat more. You’ve gotten thinner," Xu Mumu said earnestly, scrutinizing Yin Yang, who indeed looked a bit leaner, with a sharper chin.

"Not really," Yin Yang chuckled, never lacking in funds. Even sometimes missing lunch due to busyness, he never treated himself poorly.

"Yes really. Your face has slimmed, and a bit tanned," Xu Mumu noted with a laugh, as it hadn’t rained for a while, leaving the sun quite strong.

"Am I less handsome now?" Yin Yang paused while eating his crab bun. He knew his young girlfriend adored his looks.

"No, still as handsome," Xu Mumu quietly turned her face slightly away. Though not as fair, he looked even more rugged and masculine, which sparked her agreement last night.

Even if Yin Yang’s complexion darkened a few shades, he’d still be a handsome guy.

"Then I’m relieved," Yin Yang visibly relaxed, intentionally touching his face, feeling he hadn’t slimmed down.

After breakfast, Yin Yang escorted Xu Mumu towards school.

"Mumu, I might apply to graduate early," Yin Yang mentioned to Xu Mumu as they walked towards school.

"Why do you want to graduate early?" Xu Mumu looked at Yin Yang, puzzled.
