It all felt like a dream.
A dream that he wanted to wake up from,and stop his mind from replaying the doctor’s words that he chooses not to believe because it is isnt true.
He tried to believe that,and stop his heart beat from accelerating more than it’s normal beating,before he got a heart attack.
Although he’s not quite sure that he wouldn’t have one soon,if doctor sam doesn’t say the truth right this instant.
"Wh..at do you mean she’s dead?"Isabella asked,still having found her voice after a minute of trying to find it to ask if the doctor had not gone crazy to tell her this.
It still didn’t matter that there’s no way a doctor would be playing with the life of his patient,by lying about a matter so crucial like death.
Moreover,he knew too well what would befall him if this was some sort of joke,but it wasn’t.That’s why the trance they were in broke the moment he replied to Isabella.
"Im..so s..oryy,I tried my bes.."He explained,before an ear piercing scream was heard from both Isabella and Avery right at this moment.
"No!!"Isabella screamed, falling to the ground as Antonio rushed to her before she could hit the floor, because it seemed she was having difficulties breathing.
"Bella!’’James came in at this time,only to see her wriggling on the floor and didn’t need anyone to tell him what was happening.
He pushed everyone aside and rushed over to her, holding her head up as her eyes were rolling back to her head.
"Stay with me baby,I’m so sorry"He apologized, cradling her to his chest as Antonio was still shocked at the newee he just heard,he was immobile.

Zaiden beat her to it and rushed up and tacked the doctor to the nearest walls, and took him up by his collar,just like everyone had predicted that doctor Sam would be long gone if he doesn’t give good news.
"I tried my best ,I’m so..’’He tried apologizing,but that was not enough!
His apology wasn’t going to soothe the pain in their hearts,and neither was he trying to save himself out of the situation by claiming that he tried his best.
"That’s not enough,your best wasn’t enough you prick!"Zaiden yelled, punching the nearest wall that had everyone gasping at his uproar.
The hospital security that had rushed in moments ago were too scared to approach him,so they would rather let the hospital’s best surgeon to die than to go against Zaiden Knight’s.
Everyone knew that it wasn’t the doctor’s fault,yet they had earnestly wished that something worthwhile could have come out from when Hazel had made up her mind to do the surgery.
She had the will to live.
He himself had said that it was basically on the patient’s will to live,yet what’s happening didn’t make any sense to them right now,not at all.
"You said there was a chance for her to live,you fucking gave me false hope that she will live!"
Zaiden shouted at him, choking him again and this time,it was clear that he’s going to choke him to death.
He should have known that he signed his death when he chose to operate on his fianceè,and now he’s barely hanging on edge with his life in the hands of Zaiden.
"Zaiden ’’Nathan interfered,this time around when it was obvious that his brother was going to kill someone,and that someone was doctor sam which is not good for business and also for the family name.
Thankfully it’s not leaked out yet,that there have been some activities concerning the Knights that are going on in the hospital.

His conscience lashed at him,and right at this moment amidst the chaos,the stretcher carrying his girl chose this time to be wheeled out of the operation room by a nurse.
She was covered.
Time stopped for a second.
It dawned on him that it wasn’t a dream anymore,it all dawned on everyone that this is reality and that Hazel is dead.
But who would convince Zaiden to believe that?
He just didn’t want to share in their madness, because there’s a tiny hope still lingering around him that this is only a test to test his love for her.
What if this was just a test?
She didn’t die just like she was supposed to ,and was supposed to find love before a year is gone unless she dies.
There’s still more five days before the year ends,and she loves him...so does he too.
So she can’t be dead.

He thought aloud to whatever force that had given his girl this chance to meet him, there’s no proof that had stated that she will die after she finds true love.
So he believed.He believed in the fairy godmother who had refused to reveal herself to him,on countless occasions he wanted to meet her.

That must have been his stupidity to think that he could detect for the supreme being,that made herself invincible to everyone around.
