365 Days To Love-Chapter 207 - TWO HUNDRED AND SEVEN:Love Really Hurts.
If there would have been a time to have a deep,honest and long conversation with Isabella that would have been now.
It came as a surprise that she didn’t reject his offer for them to meet up,not after she had thrown fire and brimstones at him when they encountered each other at the Knights family houses.
Right up to this moment,he didn’t know what sort of trouble he was in and the whole lot of damage he had caused the people he once loved.
Until he saw his little fairy,Hazel.
How could he not have visited Ezekiel soon,and meet Hazel before Isabella saw her and now things had escalated more worse.
Ezekeil had given him so many opportunities to visit the family, to see his daughter in-law on countless bases.
To which he had declined severally,while some had been due to him being tied up with company affairs.
Just a day of him leaving work,and having dinner with Ezekeil would have stopped all these from happening.
Hazel wouldn’t have met Isabella before him, although he doubted if she was going to give him a listening ear either,because her eyes could have killed him right at that spot if they were a gun.
He saw himself in her.
Although she was striking resemblance to his wife,he knew that her stubbornness had nothing to do with Bella, but him.she took after him in that arena.
This was a major factor that would have to be considered with utmost importance.How is he going to convince Bella that he would fix everything back,when Hazel has run away?
Isabella had agreed to see him today,and that was only because he had talked about a clue to bring their daughter back home,but that had being nothing but a lie to see her.
He missed her.
That was something so stupid of him to say, judging from his past actions and attitudes toward her, but he didn’t lie when he said that he missed her.
Saying he wanted her back was an understatement, because it was clearly shown in his outburst when he saw her with that man, James Brown.
It wouldn’t have been good if he had started a fight in another man’s house, just after seeing that idiot’s hand draped lovingly on his wife’s waist.
He doesn’t care,and wasn’t interested in his story with his wife,but one thing is clear to him and that is nothing, but their marriage being fake.
His eyes are fixed on her finger that is wearing the ring that wasn’t his, but that of James as his wife,how brazen of her to flaunt that right in front of him knowingly just to piss him off
He knows what she’s doing,and also knows that whatever the two are doing was nothing but to see him snap,and get him angry.
Damn!
He’s angry.
Not at Isabella.
But at himself,things wouldn’t have been this way if he hadn’t listened to his sister and father,who had disliked Bella right from the beginning.
He’s not in any position to question her attitude with him right now,but she can’t lie to him that she hasn’t missed him over the past few years.
Keeping Ethan and Hazel’s issue aside,there’s no way she could say that she hasn’t for once thought of fixing her life back with him.
She belongs to him,and she knows that too.
She would never feel the same way she feels for him for James,and that only was what sponsored his pride over the fact that she would come around.
But right now,it’s obvious that things weren’t working in his favor anymore, because unlike the sweet and charming Bella who would forgive him and had a soft spot.
What was sitting right in front of him was nothing,but a vengeful woman who’s on the run to ruin him for ruining her life.
She’s changed,and that’s because of him,which was all the reason why he has to fix things back,to the way it was before everything came crashing down.
It would work.
It definitely had to.
For their children, there’s absolutely no way she could still think of acting like Jame’s wife when the problem with their children is all sorted out.
She has to come back.
She needs him,and as embarrassing as it sounds ,he too,also needs her back.
But right now,the fear of what his request would not be fulfilled had him tugging his tie free ,suddenly felt suffocated in such a close space with the woman he loved,who was no longer his.
No,.. of course not,she’s his! It’s just that they had some arguments which to the both of them making stupid decisions.
There’s never been any perfect relationship,it has had its ups and down,as long as the both were still willing to stay with each other,that’s what makes them a Perfect couple.
That’s in his judgement, and him trying to reassure himself that everything is going to work out fine with her.
But the reality was there, Isabella isn’t that warm anymore to him and that’s bad,really bad.
Suddenly,he felt lost and didn’t know what to say to her after her act a few seconds ago,unlike him to be calm after what she just did when he could have asked her what exactly she meant by what she did.
It has to come to his notice that being temperatal,and trying to show how annoyed he was for what she did by taking his baby girl away from him wasn’t the best option.
There’s no way they could solve the issue among them if they continue lying accusations towards each other,but that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t at fault.
She really was the harbinger of the nemesis they were in,all this could have been sorted out if she hadn’t abandoned Hazel at the hospital and contacted him to pick her up the way she did with Ethan.
Doing that would have saved them the stress they were in right now,but he’s sure that he won’t have forgiven her easily for abandoning the children either, and leaving him incharge to take care of them.
So,maybe she knew what was going to happen if she did that,that had been the reason she took Hazel away.
Yet,she could have taken the girl out of the country with her,but rather she chose to render her an orphan,so why won’t Hazel feel bad especially at her?
She did something a mother wouldn’t have done, and right now he wanted to hear it.The reason for why she left their girl, to suffer for year’s thinking she’s an orphan.
"Why did you do it?’’He asked,breaking the awkward silence between them,as a result of her refusing to say anything but stare at him with those glass covered eyes of hers.
He longed to see her eyes,those grey eyes of hers that always get him weak on his knees,but that’s impossible.
She knew that allowing him to talk to her,while looking directly into her eyes wasn’t going to help.
Well, that’s because as disappointing as it sounds , she still has a thing for him,and was scared of him finding out the truth from just looking at her eyes.
He reads her so well,he has always done that,but this time she won’t let whatever feelings she has left for him ruin her.
Think of James,will you?
She chided herself, adjusting herself on her seat to cross her leg over the others,before answering his question back with a question.
Something which he despised.
"Why did i do what?"The waiter came up to take their order to which she wanted only warm water,she wouldn’t give him the liberty to have breakfast with her.
That’s impossible,he doesn’t deserve such rights anymore.
"Of course,you know what im talking about, and I would kindly ask that you tell me what i..."
"Ofcourse, you wouldn’t have thought that i would allow you the liberty of brainwashing my children,into thinking that I’m a bad mom if i left Arabella with you too"She scoffed at his lameness,it’s unlike him to not catch up real soon for her actions.
"So,it’s about revenge?You sacrificed your child’s happiness over rev..."
And she cut him short again,to throw his sin at his face.
"Says someone who’s the responsive for all this, please i wouldn’t like to hear you put the blame on me,you don’t deserve to know anything about me or my chil.."She warned,
"Says someone who cheated on her husband for someone so..."
"You know i understand what it is all about"She sat up, raising her brows to glare at him.James was right,he’s nothing but a jealous hypocrite.
"It has to stop. Whatever it is you have with him sweets,we all both know it’s fake,your marriages with him not when you are still legally my wife"
Give it up for Antonio, to remind her of something which she had been regretting for years,her marriage to him.
It was obvious that he lured her here using their daughter as an escape just to talk of things that weren’t significant,so she stood up.
"The divorce papers would be coming soon,I promise"She said lastly before walking out of the restaurant.
The oxygen in there was affected with him being there,and right now all she wanted to do was to go home.
Home is nothing with Antonio,but with James,it seems she will have to do the convincing and all things to get Hazel to forgive her by herself.
Halfway to opening her car,she was dragged face to face to meet the angry face of Antonio which former Bella would have cowered away in fear,but right now she’s anything but scared.
"What do you think you are doing,let me go!"she struggled to remove her hands from his."I will sue you for assault,Mr Sinclair, let me go!"
"I’m s..sorry Bells",He finally admitted,agd watched the shock that ran through her face.
Did she just hear him right now?
Antonio was apologizing?
"I’m really sorry for everything,the pains and hurt all these years"Antonio went on,she has to know that he’s not the same man he was anymore.
He wants nothing but peace between the both of them,and their children, he’s too tired for all this.
"Honestly speaking,it’s not being that easy on my part either,I’m nothing but a lost man without you Bells"
"Apologizing doesn’t fix the mess you caused Anto..."
"I know, but I’m willing to do everything to fix the mistakes.Babygirl,you have to understand that I’m a changed man now,I want you back"He said,moving ahead to pull her more close to him, and tugged the glasses off her eyes to look into her shocked orbs.
What the hell is wrong with him?
"Let me go,you pervert! I’m done listening to you and your silly confessions"She whimpered, struggling from his embrace.
"This is me being sincere Bells, and..."
"And i hope me giving you a big fat No For an answer, Is also me being sincere"She turned him down immediately, and that hurt because his hold on her loosened,before she pulled away from him.
"There’s more to apologize for what you caused me Antonio,there’s our children in the picture.Maybe you should start taking into consideration that they matter too,"She looked into his eyes to tell him her honest opinion about what he said.
This wasn’t about them anymore, there’s now Ethan and Arabella in the picture.
"And until you work things out with them,don’t expect my forgiveness,I hope you understand that, Antonio"
She said lastly,before entering her car and leaving him right at that spot,she didn’t look back to check if he was still there.
Of course,he’s there, and it hurts looking back,and that’s bad,really bad for someone who’s out to destroy his life.
What exactly is wrong with you Isabella?
She asked herself.A question that she doesn’t want to answer,because she knew the answer already and it’s clearly what she won’t like.
