Exekiel who took a long tired look at his wristwatch for the third time right now,an angry look was plastered right on his face to indicate that he was pissed off.
He loosened his tie to keep his breath ongoing without any difficulty, and held in the urge to take his aggression on his driver who did nothing wrong but turn on his favourite radio channel.
But none of that didn’t seem to keep him calm,rather it intensified more when the news of Zaiden and Hazels wedding was announced.
Not only did the radio station brag about the wedding, being one of the hottest newsline in the whole of Country Z,they were exaggerating too much.
Besides,how sure are they that the wedding is going to be held tomorrow?
His driver has changed the station countless times and yet,all they did talk about was the wedding ceremony of his nephew and that Cinderella,just like the country had portrayed her to be.
His driver had no other options, but to turn everything off when he noticed that what he was trying to do wasn’t appreciated by his boss.
He was annoyed at the fact that he had waited right here for a whole two hours, and yet none of the shareholders who had given him a greenlight about joining his crew hadn’t showed up.
This was clearly a sign, to indicate that the heavens are against whatever he was trying to do ,and those silly plans of his toward his family.
But yet,he was anything but close to having a change of heart,he has come too far to give up that easily.
He took his phone out to let out another deep sigh when he saw Nathan and Sophia’s missed call.
He didn’t intend on keeping them waiting, but he was busy as fuck yesterday that he knew that it was just a little while before his dad’s company, starts facing the loss that would require his brother and Nephew to resign.
But out of all the missed calls on his phone,it was only that of his uncle that made him question why he called yesterday.
They didn’t have any appointment whatsoever to meet up, Besides even if they did?He’s not so sure he would have honoured the invite.

Not when he’s still finding it hard to believe the man, who claimed to be his mother’s sister.Rather,all his so-called uncle had given him was nothing,but a room to suspect if actually he wanted the same thing with him.
His men were still working on finding the detailed information on him,but it seems his uncle was smart enough because the very first report back to him was nothing meaningful.
Just like he said earlier,he had a wife and a son, who’s information weren’t stated,was this not something that would make him be on the look out for Cole Henderson?
The ringing of his phone had his attention,but this time it was no one else but Nathan.
"Son"He picked the call.

It was quite noisy over there,that he wondered where exactly he was answering his calls,but the very voice of his brother as he shouted at someone to calm down made him know that something was going on right now at home.
"What’s all that noise Nat? What the hell is going on over there?"He asked, waiting impatiently to hear from Nathan that the commotion over there wasn’t about his wife.
He had forgotten so soon that Sophia was sick,for the love of God he doesn’t remember much about making sure she took her medications.
Was he not a bad husband?
The stress was too much on him,he’s literally focused on work related matters that he had forgotten that he has a life, and family waiting outside for him after work.
"Where the fuck are you dad? Things are about to get messy pretty soon over here"Nathan replied, watching from upstairs at the drama in the sitting room.
Not only did Hazel find her brother yesterday,His Grandpa was not yet ready to reveal it to the public yet due to the wedding ceremony tomorrow.
But right now, standing present in the sitting room was Antonio Sinclair,her father and the owner of Brown corp,with his ever so lovely wife,who is no other than Isabella Brown,Hazel’s mother.

This was such huge news that once it’s out of the house,it’s definitely going to affect the wedding ceremony today,but yet,he wasn’t ready to reveal it to the press because of his plans tomorrow.
But that wasn’t taken into consideration by Antonio Sinclair, because he was ready to go into combat with James Brown had it not been for the runaway wife, not stepping in between the two angry men.
"What exactly do you mean Nathan? Is your mother okay?"He asked.
"She’s fine father,but you need to be here right this instant. From the look of things i don’t think the wedding ceremony would be held tomorrow,"Nathan replied, chuckling when he saw Antonio break one of his grandpa’s favorite flower vase mistakenly.

It would have given him immense pleasure,if the twin’s were present to see these lovely moments of their parents fighting.
But he’s not in a good mood to see Hazel’s face,not after what transpired between them at the garden,she hit him.
A promise to return the favour back to her but in a much more intense way,that it would only end up with him loving what he has instore for her, crossed his mind.

Ethan was another issue altogether,he doesn’t know what exactly he would do to him because of their relationship with each other.
But just like he had crossed the line by applauding his sister for what she did to him, he’s not so sure where his stand with him was anymore.
He was starting to irritate him,and the result for those who pissed him off was nothing but regret in the end.
His father cursing brought him back to reality,that he realized that he zoned out on him moments ago.
Well,it wasn’t his fault, Hazel’s slap was still resounding in his brain for moments now, and did he forget to mention that he had put an ice pack on his face, and lied to his mother when she asked what’s wrong with him?
"Did you think this is some joke or what Nathan!"Elijah yelled to his son,who left him hanging and doing God knows what over there.
Although,he was quite relieved at the fact that whatever that was going on at the family house,was not in any way about Sophia.
Nathan had done a very good job at keeping him really anxious, and curious to know who the hell his brother was trying to help calm down.
He’s always tried to be the peacemaker wherever it is,that it feels suffocating all of a sudden when he remembers why people loved him, for his peaceful nature.
But that’s all people think of him,when actually behind that peaceful face lies a man who’s going to do anything to protect his family.
Even when it includes taking laws into his hands by kidnapping the dead reporter,whose case is long forgotten.
’Dad,are you still there?"Nathan asked,looking away from the sitting room from where the tantrum was going on.
"Of course he’s not, silly"A female voice sounded from behind him,making him turn abruptly to look into the eye of the woman who had done nothing but piss him off on a daily basis.

"Idiot"Elijah cursed,and ended the call in annoyance,Nathan was seriously getting on his nerves lately and if nothing about it is taken into consideration by his mother.
He will snap!
Yeah,he will do just that.
How could he keep him waiting all because of some woman,who he doesn’t even understand why and how she got into the house without his grandpa making a fuss about that.
Well,one thing was pretty sure from the voice’s he heard, there’s a commotion at the house and it’s definitely not something small.
Turning to check the time left,he knew that today’s meeting was definitely not going to hold,and it was nothing but a waste of time sitting here and waiting for those lunatics to join force’s with him.

He will get everything he wants without anyone’s help,it has always been a one man’s game.
Associating himself with those board of directors from Ezekiel’s side was a fifty-fifty situation. How sure is he that this was not some trap, set up by his brother to have an insider among them?

He’s a businessman,and it’s not a crime to be really careful in all his dealings,if anything or anyone is going to go down in this battle for the Knight’s Empire?
