"Shit!"Vanessa exclaimed, slamming the car shut in anger when it dawned on her that it was another failed mission this time and her boss was going to be on her ass for not going through with the plan.
Time was against them, and with the way her client had seriously insisted she needed the girl before the wedding had made it clear to them, that it was either the girl or they would say goodbye to five million dollars.
It was a dangerous operation,but yet,she had chosen to do that,life was all about taking risks and Vanessa knew that she took on a big risk by accepting this deal.
Kidnap the princess of the Knights.
That had been the order,two days had gone,two days of fruitless effort to do that. Besides, it wasn’t easy dressing up as a maid working in the family while attempting to lure her out to where she could do away with her.
Besides,her fianceè was not helping matters by sticking at her sides every second like a bug,this was clearly mission impossible.
But this was five million that was on the line,Vanessa doesn’t give up easily just because of some silly threats.
She would have added more spice, to the game by annihilating that pest of her fiance, but knew that was adding more trouble to the one she was already in.
No one had been able to recognize her, apart from her client which she had through the influence gotten into the house while pretending as a maid.
Not including the second son,Nathan who had threatened her back at the company,it took a whole lot of effort on her part not to slap that smirk off his face back then.
But that was attracting attention to herself which she didn’t think was going to help her in any way towards the mission ahead.
"Where is she?’’Biggie asked Vanessa,who took a cigarette and then pulled out the lighter from his pockets and lit it up,ignoring his questions.
He was not blind not to notice that it was a failed mission,stupid questions were not in any way beneficial right now.
"She got lucky,"Vanessa said,looking out of the car in annoyance,while rubbing her laps to calm herself down before she loses her cool.
"What do you mean she got lucky?This was our chance to take her out while using the crowd as cover"Biggie lectured Vanessa as if she did it intentionally.
Like she didn’t actually know, that this was their big opportunity and had fucked it all up.
Throwing her cigarette out of the window,she pulled Biggie by his collar, really irritated at him for shouting at her.
"You will not talk to me that way!You got that?"Vanessa yelled,pushing him back as he arranged his clothes properly,muttering an apology to her.
"But you realize what this means right? It’s good bye to..."He tried putting her mind back at what they stand to lose,but she interrupted him.
"It’s no goodbye Biggie,I know what I’m doing so quit trying to scare me because it’s not working"Vanessa said,just then her phone started ringing,then cursed out loudly when she saw who was calling.
"Vanessa speaking"She picked it up,touching her temple while thinking of a way to calm the nerves of her client.
"Why didn’t you call me? Do you have her?"Sophia asked desperately while hoping for the best.
"I’m sorry,it wasn’t successful this time too,some guy was on cue to spoil..."
"Do you actually know who you are talking to? Why couldn’t you do just one job?What’s so hard about getting that bitch?"Sophia thundered, disarranging her hair in frustration.
"I’m so sorry,it’s my fau..."Vanessa tried apologizing,but darm! She’s too loud and not really considering the fact that she might get caught if she went on full force on the girl.
"No! You don’t get it do you?You don’t know how serious the situation is if you don’t get her before the wedding,what do i pay you for?"
"I would mind my tone if i were you?"Vanessa warmed as Biggie’s eyes widened.

"What? How dare you?"Sophia couldn’t believe the useless set of people she had given the task of kidnapping Hazel,since she can’t do that because of Nathan.
He had made it known to her that he was going to stick to his decision about Hazel after her warnings.
So, killing Hazel in the family house was just like adding more to her problem because if she does,Nathan would know it was her handwork.
But kidnapping herbwas more better,that would keep him off her track and also a good way to keep both Ezekiel and Grandpa off from suspecting that it was someone from the house that was playing games on them.
Besides,she didn’t want her dead yet,she wants Hazel to suffer,how it would give her immense measure to see the daylight slowly slipping out of her,as she begs her for mercy which she’s going to grant her none.

Her plan was failing.
"Oh yes,I do realize what’s at stake here,but i still have three days ahead for you to start laying such blames on me"
"How sure am i that you would do it within the space of three days?"Sophia asked, calming down for a bit.
After all,she didn’t lose anything.
If the plan failed? Her money was still here regardless of Hazel being alive but that would be to the detriment of Vanessa,who gets Nothing.
"I don’t advise you questioning my capabilities,you will get the girl soon,just get my money ready"Vanessa said, cutting
the call on her.
"Seriously? How are we sure she’s still going to move ahead with the deal with the way you talked to her,she’s Sophia Knights Vanessa"Biggie explained incase if she had lost it.
Smirking at biggies words,Vanessa put on the seat belt."Don’t worry,she wouldn’t change her mind so soon"
"how do you know?"Biggie asked, starting the car.
"She’s desperate Biggie,desperate people can do anything"She smiled,looking at herself in the mirror.
"I just don’t get you sometimes V"Biggie said,his attention back to what he was doing.
"Why would you?don’t worry Biggie and just focus on the task ahead,it’s five million baby"Vanessa reminded him,as they chuckled at her words before driving away from the hotel.
