"You need to calm down sweetheart,"Ezekiel advised, to his over-excited wife, who had been listing down every single thing that would be necessary for the wedding.
Luckily, Grandpa handed everything over to her knowing how capable she was,and also because she was the only one who was more excited than everyone about the wedding.
"Don’t tell me to calm down Ezekiel,you know how long I’ve waited for this"she reprimanded him,taking the sheet of paper she was holding and a pen and continued with whatever she was doing.
He sighed, when he knew it was useless trying to get her to calm down,leaving her to her wild imaginations about how the wedding would be, Honestly speaking he too, didn’t knew it was actually going to happen anytime soon if his son hasn’t suggested fixing the wedding date to stop the rumours about the murder.
Gladly,thanks to Zaiden, there weren’t much heightened interest of the citizens towards the murder case anymore,everyone was now talking about the wedding.
Looking back at Avery while fixing his cufflinks,she was muttering to herself that if anyone had passed by to see her,they would probably have mistaken her for someone who was crazy.
She had skipped dinner tonight, likewise Zaiden and Hazel who were nowhere to be seen either.Grandpa had ordered no one should disturb the young couples,saying he needed a grandchild before he died.
Well,a baby wasn’t a bad idea,at least Zaiden was now turning for good and would be a good father to their child.
He thought,his attention back to himself as he was fixing the buttons of his shirt, surprisingly,his former friend turned enemy had called in today after watching the news to send in his congrats.
It’s been years of the long family dispute between the two families which wasn’t his fault, Antonio’s father was a troublemaker likewise his dad,so,it didn’t last much before everyone turned against each other after the elders of the family, had an argument which he doesn’t even know what exactly their problems was.
He needed to have a talk with Antonio and maybe ask how he’s fairing,it wasn’t easy been alone for many years while trying to find his missing wife and their other child,which wasn’t his fault, because Elijah has given him the bad advice that led to him misbehaving to the extend of throwing Isabella out,his pregnant wife.
Looking at himself one more time and was satisfied with the personality he saw,he smiled, walking up to kiss Avery’s cheeks,her attention moving away from the long list she was making about the upcoming wedding.

He prayed,becauses glancing at what she wrote here,it was more than enough for the wedding but still she added extra.
"No no!No staring at my ideas!"She snapped,taking the list away from his view,the last thing she needed right now was him lecturing her on how she was going extra miles for this wedding.
She couldn’t even believe that the old man would put her in charge of this. This has been her everyday prayer to get the old man to fix the wedding date as soon as possible.
God finally answered it through her son, who was now obsessed with Hazel,as much as she too was about the young lady,she knew she made a perfect choice for her son, regardless of her status which wasn’t relevant anymore.
"Don’t stress that poor soul honey,she’s too fragile for all these you are planning"
Avery sighed,this was the reason she didn’t want him besides her while she’s documenting everything down about the wedding,he’s too softhearted.
"I see you are ready to go"She said,standing up to help him to the door as he only smiled at her antics to get rid of him,"Don’t stay out late"She cautioned,turning the door opened abd waved at her before slamming the door hard at his face.
"Women"he sighed, leaving the room for the garage only to hear Elijah’s voice on call with someone.
He was whispering which made him became suspicious of him,everyone was already a suspect pertaining the murder case so seeing how his brother was making a phone call, while whispering made him became anxious to know exactly what he was doing.
"I know,but you have to know that i need time, you can’t just tell me what to do knowing how fully well things are around here"Elijah said, touching his temple in abrupt exhaustion,he was having a headache from today’s activities.
Not only had Nathan got him angry at his stupidity, Sophia added more to his anger when she slapped the psychiatrist that he secretly took her to today.
Everything was not going the way he wanted and he couldn’t do anything about it, because it was coming from his side.
Moreover,Cole,his mother’s brother had added more to his frustration by giving him two days to fulfill the task given to him, Pertaining Zaiden and Hazel’s wedding.
Atfirst,he was happy towards what Sophia did but adding more frustration and trouble in the family house,because he wants his nephews dad to suffer,but got angry at how easily the rumours of the murder went down immediately, they brought up the wedding ceremony of Zaiden and the pauper turned princess,Hazel.
"Nathan has become more of a headache than a helping hand these few days,He’s in love with a woman who he’s not supposed to be with"He uttered,sighing loudly while watching both sideways of the garage to check if anyone was eavesdropping on his conversation.
He was too pissed off at Sophia to care about making the phone call in her presence,his day was already bad and he knew coming to face Sophia tonight,he was in for another heated argument between the both of them.
The woman was so unbelievable,she has gone ahead to blame him for their son’s sudden change of mind towards Hazel, accusing him of not getting rid of the young pest earlier before things got complicated to this level.
"I will tell him about the appointment,see you tomorrow"Elijah said, finally cutting the call,to give out a deep breath before leaving for his room to face Sophia oblivious to the being that had been eavesdropping on his conversation with his uncle.

Ezekiel wondered who exactly he was on phone with,It hasn’t crossed his mind for once that maybe his brother has something to do with the murder.
No!Elijah can’t do something like this.
He shrugged his shoulder, denying the thought that was clouding his mind over Elijah’s conversation,he entered into the car,and drove off to his destination with Elijah’s conversation still on his mind.

Now isn’t this Ezekiel,long time no see man"Antonio stood up and waved at him when he came in searching around to find him standing with a smile on his face.
"It’s nice to see you,"Ezekiel said, stretching his hand out for a handshake but to his utmost surprise,he was pulled into a bone crushing hug by Antonio.
Man!It’s such a long time since he saw this side of him.
Ezekiel thought,smiling and pulled away from the hug to study him from head to toe.
He looked okay,barely okay though.
Looking around the hotel which held a lot of memories for them,it was surprising he still chooses to see him here,it had always been him,Antonio and Elijah before everything changed.
"You are late, which is surprising. Antonio said, sitting down,sipping a glass of water before the waiter came up to them.
"I had a little issue to take care of at home"Elijah lied through his teeth, Avery wasn’t the one who made him come late,it was his fault because he has been eavesdropping on Elijah’s suspicious conversation.
"I didn’t tag Avery as that of a trouble maker,How’s she by the way?Does she knows am the one you went out to see? She hates me man"Antonio laughed,trying to hide the pain in his eyes which Ezekiel had been observing.
He gave the waiter back the menu after picking a drink,then turned to face Antonio.
"Avery’s good ,she’s just so overexcited about this wedding more than everyone"
"Yeah about the wedding,I’m still surprised till now about this new information,a new family member is joining,it calls for a celebration,so,where exactly do you find such a beauty"Antonio asked further referring to Hazel,he felt something after seeing the Young lady which he didn’t know exactly was it was. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
It wasn’t that he was interested in her,but after seeing her picture today and how coordinated she was at the press conference even though she was not from the upper class,it intrigued him to know how exactly she charmed her way into the family and won the hearts of everyone.
He wondered who exactly she was, and how special is she for the old man to defend her in front of the
the entire citizen,she must be very dear to the old man.
"Let’s forget about me,and talk about you Anton,how’s life and Ethan,you didn’t really care to tell me when he got back in the country"Ezekiel asked,his hand circling his glass in front of him as the waiter poured a drink for him.
They were here to make up for old times and not here for him to criticize or try to judge his daughter in-law,knowing how cunny he was,there wasn’t no difference from him and Elijah,that’s why he had listened to his friend who was the mastermind behind his present predicament.
"As you can see,I’m still the same Antonio you know"Antonio faked a smile.
"No you are not,how’s the search for Isabella going,or have you given up on that?"Ezekiel shrugged his shoulders, insisting even though he wasn’t ready to talk about himself.
"Why would i give up man? I’m a changed man and would spend every moment of my life praying to God to let me find...’’Antonio’s statement was caught short by another male voice that chose this time of him talking to interrupt their conversation.
"Ezekiel Knights,what a lovely coincidence"Mr.Brown cheerfully called over to his pal,who stood up to engulf him in a hug.
"Sure it is,how’s Mary,it’s been long I’ve seen that stubborn child ever since she left the country?"Ezekiel teased as both men laughed at his jokes,before he turned to Antonio.
"This is an old friend of mine, Antonio meet James,James Antonio ’’Ezekiel introduced the two men.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Antonio Sinclair, I’ve heard a lot about you"James said,more like enjoying the confused look that fell on the man’s face that he knew him,he took the handshake.
"I didn’t know I was famous around here"Antonio smiled, while watching the man with calculating eyes.
Surprisingly,he sensed a bad aura emitting off the stranger who knew him.
"Of course you are,"James added.
"Nice to meet you,James..."Antonio paused, waiting to hear his last name to find out who exactly he was,he didn’t look like any ordinary elite.
"James Brown it is"James finally revealed his last name, which he suspected was what he was waiting to hear.
Just like he predicted,he noticed something move in his eyes after hearing his last name.
Bella was right,he’s smart.
