365 Days To Love-Chapter 106 - ONE HUNDRED AND SIX:They Are In Love With The Same Woman.
"What the hell!!"The old man’s loud voice was what woke everyone from sleep this morning,dread forming in everyone’s mind as to what exactly prompted his loud cursing this morning.
Ezekiel was the first to storm out his room still in his PJs,his phone in his hands while rushing up to his dad’s room,it was as if he knew what was happening.
The guards and maids were in total confusion as to what exactly was happening because Elijah rushed out of his room immediately into his dad’s room and his facial expression was nothing good to write home about.
Something bad has happened and it was concerning the household seeing as everybody was acting funny this morning.
They could tell, because Avery was the third person to come out of her room,with hasty footsteps while rushing into the same room,the interest of everyone was now pinned high to know what exactly is happening.
"How the fuck did this get leaked to the pressed?"Zaiden’s angry voice was heard as everyone scampered away from the group they were,so that he wouldn’t find them gossiping about what exactly was going on.
His facial expression was the worst out of all the family members,cussing out loudly while disarranging his hair,he went up to his father’s room and that was when he saw everyone.
"Father,what are we going to do now?"He asked as his father didn’t give him any definite reply,his grandpa was busy with his calls,his other phone ringing at the same time while he was still on the call.
Chaos.
This morning,what woked everyone up was the news in every news headline was about the gruesome murder and the threat pertaining the Knights daughter-in-law.
Right now, outside, the mansion was filled up with reporters who were waiting for one of the family members to come outside so that they could have something worthwhile to give as feedback to the citizens.
Everyone was tense here, especially the old man. He was the one who was more than angry needless of him to say it, someone is desperately trying to see him snap.
And that person is someone from his family,the person had gone along to expose what he wanted hidden for the meantime until the culprit is caught before raising it to the press,but right now his plans have been scattered.
Who exactly is it between his family members?
Ezekiel and Elijah phone rang at the same time as they picked it up to explain to whosoever that was calling them,it was about the news.
"I’ve said I don’t know what you are talking about!!"Zaiden snapped at the person sjo called him,he couldn’t blame him for getting angry,his fianceè is on the hottest search list on the internet right now.
Turning to see Nathan shouting at whosoever that called him too made him have a second thought about assuming that it was one of his family members that was doing this, everyone was here worried about the news,and if he’s correct in his assumptions,the person who did it shouldn’t be here trying to figure out how to tackle this new issue.
Turning to Elijah who kept on a poker face while talking to his brother,he didn’t find anything suspicious about his behaviour. He can be cruel when he wants to be but he cares about the company and also helps whenever an issue that affects the company rises up.
But that didn’t make him feel relaxed,the doubt that he was not here willingly was still on his mind,he had talked with the private investigators that came here yesterday and they claimed to have no idea about what was happening.
They were the only ones who had the pictures of the murder taken yesterday,so how was it posible that it got released to the press without their knowledge.
"Father,what are we to do right now, I’ve called all the media houses to take down the news for now, but it’s not going to be easy to do that without giving them any definite answer to this matter?"Ezekiel said after talking with Elijah earlier,they were suggesting some ideas that might be useful right now in this certain situation they were in.
"Have you called Leo?"Grandpa asked, referring to the board of directors,who he knew would start panicking seeing the news about them.
"Yes dad,he’s got things under control so they don’t complain much"Ezekeil replied,he didn’t know what to do right now, Someone as his dad had earlier suspected, was playing pranks on the family.
It’s not just about fun for the person,he wants to destroy the family as a whole,his brother wouldn’t be the one to do that because he’s more concerned about the company more than any of them right here,so he won’t think of doing anything that would tarnish the image of the company.
"How about we release another news to cover up this one?"Nathan suggested coming closer towards the duo as everyone’s attention was now on him"I mean what they need right now more than any other thing is our reaction out of this mess, which we aren’t going to give them,rather,we give another news that makes up for this one"He added as Grandpa was now observing him keenly,while thinking of his suggestion.
He knew without him talking or trying not aid in this discussion,his grandpa’s assumption about him and his father would reach another level seeing how enraged he was about this news.
As expected, the reporter he sent the pictures to, did a good job in releasing it as soon as possible. He heard his grandpa’s upset voice from upstairs and didn’t need anyone to tell him what it was all about.
Although he was frustrated,the night before this morning after receiving that message,the person didn’t call after sending the message or do anything funny to expose him or his mother which got him into thinking.
If exactly the person knows that it was him that erased the cctv and that it was his mother that was the murderer,why hasn’t the news reached his old man yet?
He suspected something about the anonymous message yesterday,the person didn’t threaten to release the news to everyone or try to get any money from him pertaining to the information he has against him.
Which only gives him the idea that the person doesn’t actually know that it was him that did it,he’s just trying to get him to react so as to find out for himself if his assumption about him was the truth.
Whoever did that doesn’t have any evidence about him or his mother doing the deeds he had accused him of, rather,he’s just trying to see for himself if truly he got him to confess about what he did.
It was so funny while figuring out how lame of a threat the person has to think that he would get scared over a mere message.
It takes more than a message to get him down on his feets,he had already given the number to Eric to investigate and figure out who exactly owns the number.
He figured out his uncle had been staring at him with some strange expression on his face, reminding him of the text message. He has been giving him that look since he came inside this room.
Was it him that sent the message?
It was already known to him that his uncle and grandpa were suspecting him and his dad,so it wasn’t bad of an assumption if he suspected him as the one who was sent that message.
"What other news would get that attention like how it got them hooked on this one?’’Avery spoke up while looking at Nathan,his suggestion was a good one.
"Our marriage,it’s time to announce the wedding date,they have been eager to know when the wedding would be held,I think this is the right time for that ’’Zaiden chipped in,but Nathan’s demeanor changed instantly when he heard what he said.
Was he serious?
"But.."he tried objecting but the old man cut him short.
"That’s a good idea,it’s time to announce the wedding date,when exactly do..."
"Next week Grandpa,I want it as soon as possible"Zaiden said as if he’s too desperate to have the wedding,surprising both his grandpa and mother,his father was the only one who was not unfazed about the whole issue because he knew how eager he was to get married to Hazel since yesterday.
"Next week it is then,call the chief of staff to arrange a meeting with the press"Grandpa said.
"Okay"Avery said gleefully,leaving the room all happy about this whole arrangement.
"This is a serious issue Zaiden and i must say if you have no plans to keep to your word,you should stop before it’s too late"Nathan turned to Zaiden, irrespective of the erderly ones who didn’t understand what exactly was wrong with the two brothers.
But that would be a lie if his dad,uncle and Grandpa didn’t know what he meant because,it’s already known to the three of them that Nathan has a thing for Hazel,it’s just that they haven’t asked him yet,what exactly he wants.
Zaiden grinned at his words,he knew exactly what he meant but he’s not going to back down easily without a fight,who was he to question his feelings towards his fianceè.
"I owe you no explanation on how to handle my girl,I’m getting married next week and you are doing nothing about it"
"Fine!Congratulations it is,"Nathan smirked dangerously before leaving the room,Zaiden left after some seconds he left,leaving the three other elders in the room to figure out for themselves what exactly was going on between them.
There was no need to wait for any of them to speak up about what just happened,it’s clear to them about what the two brothers were dragging with each other.
They are in love with the same woman.
